[Q] Wifes Samsung Galaxy 3 wont boot - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi, my wifes Samsung S3 L710 decided yesterday that is didnt want to work anymore. It was fine in the morning and had full charge by the afternoon it had shut off and will not start anymore.
This is a completely stock version, nothing has ever been done to it after market, she didnt want to let me root her phone. She kept up with the OTA updated from sprint and as far as i know hasnt had one in a while.
So when i take out the battery and reinstall, i can feel it buzz then i press the power button and the samsung logo come up then disappears and phone is off. Same if i press power+menu+vol down i see the Warning about custom OS then off, and power+menu+vol up i see the samsung logo and message on top left saying its booting to recovery then off. We tested the battery and it has a charge, we also tested a new battery and same thing so pretty sure it isnt the battery.
Sorry for the long post but i was wondering if anyone has seen this and if there is anything i can do besides just move on from phone. Thanks in advance.

Could be the connections to the battery

Nexus bricked after sim switch!

Hi, I hope you can help me with this...
So as I mentioned in the Header, I simply shut down my Nexus, waited for the vibration and then switched my Sim Card. Since then I wasn't able to either Boot/Fastboot it's just completely black.
I tried to take the Battery out for a few Minutes, Connected it to my Laptop without the battery(where it got recognized as Omap4400), tried to follow these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760787 , but nothing has changed.

I'm really helpless right now, how can such a small thing like a shutdown have such consequences. I seriously did nothing else(I am on Jelly Bean/rooted).
Were have you tried pulling out the battery, put it back in, then water 10 sec then boot it to fastboot? It is almost impossable removing a similar card would brick a phone

Nope nothing. Tried now several times... had the Battery out for about 15 Minutes now and nothing happens, screen remains just black.
How old is it I would get it replaced as it sounds like something failed

[ISSUE] No more battery stats...

Hi everybody,
Don't really know what's happenning, since yesterday, my wife's nexus 7 shows 0% battery, while it's fully charged !
The device is full stock, no root, just unlocked bootloader... It's new, received last friday, updated to 4.3 just after opening the box, and everything was ok till yesterday...
See screenshot to see what I mean.

I called Google this morning, they told me to let the nexus 7 completely discharge, and charge, and if this doesn't work, factory reset.
Anyone had this issue already ?
Thanks !
More details :
Charger is working, I tested it on my nexus 4.
And when I plug it to the nexus 7, the screen turns on, so I think it's charging, but I'm stuck with the red exclamation point on the battery status meaning 0% battery left...
Software or hardware problem ?
Any help or others experience would be appreciated, thank you !
I'm surprised to be the only one with this issue...
I also noticed several reboot, with one possible explanation : reboots happens when I shake the tablet ! So... I asked for RMA, new N7 ordered yesterday. Hope the next one will be the good one !

phone constantly restarting on bootup.

Im running pacman aokp rom which has been running fine for the last couple months. out of nowhere, the phone restarts everytime i power it on and attempt to use it. The power button is also very buggy now.
I wanted to run reinstall the rom but I know its going to restart in the middle of me flashing the rom... so what are my options?

Sounds like your power button is going out. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1958630

This has happened to be before. All I did was take out the battery and continually pressed the power button really fast for about 60 seconds and hasn't reset on since. No reboots or sensitivity.

I think you forgot to check your link to the picture.
IT'S NOT WORKING.
Since you give no details at all about your odin issue
no one can help.
Good luck!
Sorry didn't see that until now should be fixed
Might be a bad/incomplete/corrupt download. Try downloading again or use this link:

If you Odin correctlywith good files, it works. Also, uncheck the Auto Reboot box. When done,, disconnect and pull the battery. Boot into recovery manually (power/home/volume up).
Hey I just did emergency upgrade with Kies and got my phone perfect stock but now when im in a phone call the person i'm talking to cannot hear me unless my speaker phone is on ... when its off my voice is soo low or not even there at all

Samsung Galaxy Nexus: Stuck On Emergency Recovery Screen, What Do i Do?

Okay, Well, First off, I am new here, so if i do something wrong, let me know.
I have a Samsung galaxy nexus i got from my friend a few months back, it was running android 6.0.1 marshmallow By Cyanogenmod.
Key word here: "was"
The device had been dunked into some water, (long story, dad did it) and when i pulled it out and dried it off, it wouldn't boot up android, it just stayed on the android screen for hours. i ended up removing the whole android image off it, at this point it wouldn't get passed the google boot screen (other users had this problem), so i plugged the phone into Odin and started the process of re partitioning the whole device with stock ROM and recovery. here is where buying Belkin cables caused my problem, the phone disconnected from the PC due to the cable being an ass. so now, Odin and Samsung Kies and even the nexus toolkit cannot recognize the phone cause it is stuck on this screen:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
The phone stops me from Doing Button combinations, this screen is useful, but i need to know how to get it working.
Thank you XDA for allowing me to ask this question.
Any and all help appreciated. thanks guys!
