May anybody provide me a link to the stock rom for Sprint Vigor? mine is bootlooping..Thanks..
I don't think there is any roms for your device, I just found out there is root for it. I am almost positive that xda does not support it have you searching in android forms?
Yes, i have tried all over Google..Im afraid Im stuck with a brick..although I do have download mode working.

You will not get the updates unless you are on stock recovery.......I'm on rooted but on stock recovery so getting the OTA but it is of only 236MB in size . So i thinks it's jst a normal update...not an OS update.....
and one thing more if you are rooted and got the update then don't install that as it will lead to bootloop......it might get your device bricked

Gsm bands can be unlocked by editing the build prop.......or by changing the files in "carrier" folder in our phone........as this method works on LG G2 sprint and also on LG G3 sprint..........
but i can't be sure about it......i myself wants to try it.....but waiting for the custom recovery for LG G3 vigor LS885............because first i will backup my existing OS .........and if by editing build prop something goes wrong then by going into the recovery i can recover the backed up OS.......

You can backup your stock rom by rooting your phone and installing a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM ,rooting is simple but the problem is I cant find any recovery for LS885.....but one friend "shaneg79" had installed the custom recovery on his LS885......so waiting for him to give the download link of that recovery.
Would love to see that stock recovery.

Hello all,
Recently flashed the latest OmniROM 4.4.2 KitKat on a Rogers i747 from a 4.3 CarbonROM, but as a result, I no longer have any mobile network connection whatsoever. Can't even make an emergency call. Wifi does work though.
I'm running:
omni-4.4.2-20140205-d2att-HOMEMADE
CWM 6.0.4.7
SuperSU 1.91
and flashed the latest bootloader boot_CWM_I747MVLUEMK5 as I was getting a status 7 error before I did this when flashing the ROM zip.
When I go into Mobile Network settings, it says insert SIM and restart if I try to access Mobile Plan (already tried)`, IMEI and basband is unknown. Basically everything in the phone status menu is unknown or disconnected. I am unable to add APN settings for some reason as I can enter it all but it will not save.
I haven't tried flashing a different radio yet and I cannot seem to find much through searches.
If more info is required for a diagnosis I'll try my best to provide it.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated
Cheers!

PLEASE KEEP FOR VISIBILITY
your post saved my phone. I recently flashed a CM11 nightly (cm-11-20140211-NIGHTLY-d2att.zip), was forced to update my bootloader using "boot_CWM_I747MVLUEMK5" in order to do so (would get failed prop bootloader error), and when i booted the phone i lost all signal as well.
Lost IMEI, unknown baseband. Tried to inject IMEI to no avail all day, until i saw this post, with such a simple fix.
THANK YOU
Network is disabled!

You need to find a flashable modem for your phone. Then flash it with twrp cwm or what ever the custom recovery for your phone is.
This forum is for the Samsung galaxy S3 SGH-I747 and SGH-I747M. You should go to the galaxy note forum. I am sure there is some stuff in the development section or read some stickies and the search function is your friend.

Hi!
I've a similar problem, my i747m is unlocked with "123Unlock.nl" and i recently update my OS to 4.3 but i can't connect to the 3G/LTE network, i've already tried with TELCEL and IUSACELL chip and 3 differents ROMS but i can only use the 2G network, before i unlocked my phone i used the phone with TELCEL (LTE).
Anybody has any idea what could it be?
Thanks for your help.
OK guys, There is no way I am the only one with a 900T itching to get my hands on KK and X-Note 9.0. I am very new to the whole rooting android devices but I am quickly learning the ropes. I have been reading many posts were where this is available to the 9005 versions. I also know that the 900T and 9005 are almost the same phone with 900T being locked (temporarily) to TMobile. I have been searching the threads for the past week looking for the answer if anyone with a 900T has been able to install the Official Poland Version 4.4.2 on their 900T. As some help I have been emailing someone else with a T-Mobile phone that helps to specialize in hard bricked devices. I am including the emails and I hope to get this thread moving forward. If it is not possible I would like to see if there is a way to work the system to get us the X-note 9.0 upgrade.

Until we get an official Kernel for 4.4.2 for Tmobile we wont be able to install it. I even tried it last night since I've used previous X-note editions in the past. Hopefully in a couple more weeks we'll have a kernel.

1. Did you install the Official Poland 4.4.2 KK update?
2. Did you install the latest compulsion Kernel?

Axeman, Thank you very much for commenting on this post. I have seen your information alot dieingmy research. I have been attempting to gain traction on this topic. I do have a few questions.
1: is it possible to flash the official Poland KitKat version?
2: if it is possible, what are the risks that we are looking at?
I can see the problem with not having a custom kernel. Here is a link to one that I found earlier today.

I also saw a thread today where the Canadian version is now able to upgrade to Kit Kat and flash x-note 9.0

There is a link in the q&a forum for xnote. This gives specific instructions for getting it to work on tmobile versions of the note 3. The only thing I flashed through odin was the 4.4.2 bootloader for tmobile
Everything else was done through recovery
Tmobile version xnote 13

I do recall reding along the threads somewhere that if you flash a non tmobile bootloader through odin you will end up with a fancy paper weight.

Beside I didn't installed any other app yet... Probably if I install other apps that sync with internet, this battery usage will be much higher...

Hello can you give the source link of that confirmed info? Because here on Q&A section nobody have report to full flashed the KDZ of 855... I just made a system dump from v10j and then flashed it through recovery. Also boot is the same but we thought flashing KDZ could have some issue with modem or partitions size.
Now I read this and think is very cool to know some people already tried to flash kdz for 855 with success but it would be great to add the source link to the tread on Q&A section with the correct step to step... because another user tried to flash an European kdz but it didn't let him because of different model.
To restore default ROM:
1-) Download and install LGMobile Support Tool.
2-) Start it and wait it for self-update.
3-) Connect the phone using USB Cable, wait until LGMobile Support Tool recognizes the phone.
4-) Click on top menu Additional Resources (Recursos Adicionais) ==> Upgrade Recovery.
5-) Wait for it check your phone model, download the correct ROM and install it. (DATA WILL BE WIPED).

Would really be glad that this was clarified.
I have a brazilian D855p and I'm flashing D855 kdz from day one.
I dont think the software needs time to settle. That's because one time I saw Francisco Franco (nexus recognized developer) telling that's bs, as the software is only a bunch of zeros and ones and no need for that. But anyway, my battery is great so far, getting 4h SOT when on 4g and almost 6h on wifi. Try to install a custom rom like cloudy or AndroidNow HD and give it a try...

Nothing works.
Please help me.
Thank you so much
If you only seeing the logo, you need to flash the firm ware again. Once you get out of the boot loop, try use towel root to root your device.

Want to root lg optimus g pro att&t unlocked with 10p version
please help me i want to root my phone . I am not able to open wifi hotspot on my phone
What do you need help with? If you need to know how, try Google search the towelroot app. That should root your phone easy enough. If that don't work, there is always rootmaster.
actual problem is that i have att&t unlocked phone

What is LGP
Is says to use LGP to flash stock....I can't even begin to tell you how new I am to all of this. I am trying to upgrade to lollipop. I go the OTA message and the phone downloaded the software and then gave me the error message saying this device suspected in rooting. No software update for rooted devices. I did a hard factory reset on the phone and it still does the same thing. The only thing I can think of to do is flash it back to a stock ROM. I have an LG Optimus G Pro E980 model. Can anyone help??? I would really like the lollipop update. Thanks

Towelroot doesn't work? Try root master, if you can't read Chinese, there is a youtube video to help you with the menu because it too is in Chinese. The other one I know of is in English, it's a Linux script not sure if it runs in windows, it's call universal root.
It dosent works if you have kitkat update
I know i am late but i have tried to root my device (E988) 3 times and it didn't worked. Now i don't know if it is because of kitkat update or i am living in Saudi Arabia and this device is not supported but the device didn't rooted. If there is a working link some one can give me that would be awesome cuse i think this thread is dead.

But...but... What about us with D802? :C
If f320s users that flash this please let me know if you can root and or tot back to earlier versions that would be great... If LG did anything like the G3 then this may kill adb / root in the future and I'd like to know if they did this in new update. Thanks in advance

Well crap...just as I suspected....thus does mean no way to root, recovery, or revert to older stock to do such for now...with no adb...chances of getting this to happen is very slim in the future...I want to warn ALL VARIANTS in the future updates for Lollipop stock about this.

Is there any way to bypass this, by using KK bootloader for example?

Probably someone needs to make a flashable zip of the kdz and then he has to try to flash supersu afterwards. This could be working

No that's why I'm warning people...any variant that takes the official lollipop update may never have a way of going back or getting on a custom ROM again...with the g3 official lollipop update...anyone that took it...is stuck on stock with no return as far as I know...I wouldn't be so happy about this official update guys...its also a shame some user warded of the few developers who could even get close to bypassing it possible...a user that released something he shouldn't have

Just my thoughts. If that could work, we can retain root and custom recovery. An ideal situation tbh.

Aha I get your point, Rev. And you're very right about the consequences of making it open-source. But don't you honestly think it would've come to this anyway with time?

Are you sure about this? I used the FlashTool just a couple days ago to flash KitKat back on the G3.

All I'll say is when it comes to your variant...try for yourself...if you can't go back go earlier versions...I gave warning...LG will patch open bump I'm sure...this is more a heads up and just in case..but is what it sounds like...if its possible to go back...then that's great and no need to worry
Vandietuts VDT-V26 Super Lite Lollipop has root.
Thanks for the warning, Rev, but we really have to wait and see. If the lollipop update makes the phone more locked than an iPhone, LG has shot themselves in the foot since they don't serve the developers community. Quite frankly if everything seems to be locked, I hope that LG provides a way to unlock the bootloader.
