if you update phone to lollipop it will lost for 5 hours on heavy browsing for games it drops to 3-3.30 and if you on kikat difference of 3omin - 1 hour ... the best phone you can get at this price point

See it depends on the usage . Normally its like 1 1.5 day ( i use fb , wifi , location service , FB messgr.. , whatsapp regularly and play clash of clans ) and if you just charge and keep it then its like 4 days or 3 days... And i am a above average user . Means my 3g is on when wifi is off and most of the day wifi is on . So according to me battery is good and ideal for normal user..

My grand is 14 month old..n now I use cm11 latest build..my battery backup is reduced badly dischared after 4-5 hour normal use..is this battery problem r rom..I changed clockspeed to 1.2 but still same problem..plzz help me

Have u charged fully after installing CM11 and checked?? If S what is u r usage is it in normal or heavy usage??

I m using that rom since it first dual sim version. N I charge my phone fully after complete discharg.

Then its battery problem coz I get around 19hours with normal usage with occasional internet usage....So its no the ROM problem...Its Battery problem..

The same happens with me and its the battery problem only. I will get some 6 hours on CM if used heavily with full time internet and screen on. In stock i may get 3 or 4 hours if used normally. The battery is pathetic and never got a backup up to 24 hours from day 1 and using very less apps.
Been using grand for about 6 days..
I get battery backup of about 20hrs with 5+hrs of screen on time.. I guess this is okay..
App for battery performace is battery stats plus
U can use ur cpu at 800mhz for better battery performance..

u did not get my point. the devices have same internal. roms of mmx a1 will work on other devices, say karbonn. thats y i got karbonn. even the recovery will work on other android one phones. i suggest you buy spice dream uno asap

We will almost certainly see a cyanogemod release on the platform at some point in the future.When we do, you can always leverage its theme engine to get the touchwiz look:

It's alright- not that great. Expect 18-20 hour backup with moderate usage, i.e. charge the phone every evening. 3G takes more of a toll on the battery than wifi though.

Yes- I don't use it heavily, but with 1-2 hour screen time I need to charge it in the afternoon/evening everyday.

Don't worry about the battery life. It's good enough. Don't fall for users who are assuming it and not used in person.

Must be something wrong.. It's not that bad. About other user talking about need to charge by evening.. That totally depends on the usage.. What's the screen on time on such scenario?

I'd like to share by battery stats.... I'm a moderate user. Gaming is not a priority. Both Sims are connected. Network is 2g. Wifi is on (goes to suspend when screen is off) most of the time. I'm getting more than expected backup. I believe playing a game like asphalt will drain battery on any phone. Screen will be at maximum brightness. All your phones resources are being used. Also a 6.5k price phone is not to be expected to do heavy gaming and still have a lot of battery

I use my phone only as a simple phone to make and receive occasional calls, with very occasional use of Google Search and Google Maps. It uses ~13% of remaining battery in a 24 hour period. I get 5 to 7 days out of a full charge. Right now mine is at 41% and i am in day 5. I expect it to be at ~36% tomorrow morning, beginning day 6. At the end of that day or beginning of next, at a bit more than 20%, i'll charge it again.
I would not expect to use the phone with the battery at anything less than 20%. I have it for emergencies, and i would not trust it at that level.

It was 45 sec by default and now 30 on MM (Freedcam still offer 45 second exposure on MM ). well if you are getting 6 hrs SOT on MM then you must have magical tricks to tell us . Why don't you share ?
Well, no magic tricks, and I'm surprised reading about other people's SOT of less than 4 hours. Phone is stock. Only things I can say is I have auto brightness, logd disabled, and this 6 hours SOT is mostly Internet browsing, email, tapatalk (so no games).
The new marshmallow builds (with the may security patch) are really good battery wise. I also get a really high sot

i get 4 hours .. using videos. facebook app and whats app, no games... LP rooted and many services disabled.. can you take screenshot of battery and apps that are running.?

Before you update it to miui10 what is your SOT? do you have bad battery backup before you update it?
i let it update as soon as i first used it , so i dont know what the performance was like on the older version
