Hey guys, I've tried looking for help and read as much as I could. Is there a way I can have my Nexus 7 (2013) LTE rooted? Seems like http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ doesn't have the file for my device.
If anyone has it as well, and managed to have it rooted, I would greatly appreciate any help and guidance for rooting my Nexus 7.
Thank you!

Try out Wug Fresh Nexus Root Kit.
Its simple n easy.
http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
I meant to say for Lollipop 5.0.1. If it was 4.4.4, I would've used it easily (which I eventually tried, but failed either way.).
Thank you for your responses anyway. Much appreciated.

use this. its the manual way and quite a bit safer. if you have any issues, just ask, and we'll be able to help you.

No toolkit please... If you mess up, you wouldn't know how to fix it.
I recommend following this video instruction.
Thanks a lot for the comments. I did it via the toolkit. It was very easy to follow. Thanks once again

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to root my new Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 with the MDL update on my Mac?
I have been searching for anything on this for three days now and all I've come up with are questions without answers. I've tried a few things myself (motochopper, etc.) but nothing has rooted my phone.
I would really love to accomplish this.
Thank you!

Hey all, as the title says, is there a good way to root a brand new Nexus 7 with 6.0.1? I just got one after a pretty good groupon deal ($100) and the device OTAed up to 6.0.1. Thanks for any help.
Allready tried the Nexus Root Toolkit?!

The Nexus Root Toolkit will do it. I got my N7 from GroupOn, I flashed the OTA 6.0.1. I then had trouble rooting it because when you get to the point where you are suppose to install SuperSU and BusyBox they do not show up in the folder. This is because there is a problem with that version of TWRP and the new updated hardware in this version of N7. You will need to install a modified version of TWRP. Then root it with NRT will work.
The modified version can be gotten through this link. *** Just in case the link will not work, I do not know if I have enough post to be able to post links yet http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/nexus-7-2013-qa/mount-recovery-t3064562
Be sure to pick the correct version if you have the same unit as I then it will be the Wi-Fi version. I do not think that GroupOn is selling the LTE version.
Good luck! I am very happy with this Nexus 7, it will save cell phone battery and save my eyes as well.
