So I have not been very active in flashing roms lately, so I decided to install a new rom since it was kinda slowing down. So i accidentally downloaded one from the LG G3 forum and
i flashed it over and now it wont power on. Is there any guides, tutorials to bring it back? Thanks in advance

Odin is the Samsung equivalent of Sony's Flashtool. CWM is another lifesaver as it has wipe options built in that can help to get a phone to boot. CWM remains installed even if the main OS is removed........

Yeah I have used sony phone for a while and i have broken it (Hard bricked) when unlocking the bootloader, then I picked up a galaxy w and I am still in love with it, Its a single core but it can do miracles. I have soft bricked my phone many times, I sometimes delete the ROM i put on the sd card to have room for the kernel and other tweaks so i use Odin to just return the stock OS and then get a new ROM and flash it inside. There is not much risk and you cant go wrong with the phone. I fixed mine many times and i know how many frustration you get when doing such thing. I remember the first time when i bricked my phone by installing kernel for another android version, and then i booted up to CWM and wiped data/cache and flashed a new rom. Because of the long booting time i thought that its over, i broke my phone, but after sitting there for 10 mins. it finally booted up. Damn i was so happy then, i rooted my phone and installed a new rom for first time :victory:

So can you give me a small guide on how to use Odin ?
You don't NEED to use Odin. The link I provided gives you easy to understand information about how to root, CWM and flash cusROMs 'in phone'......
It's how I did it, and it really is very easy to do/follow.......

I recently picked up the Z1 Compact, and since it was pretty easy to root and customize I dived into those sorts of things for the first time. For a while I had Cyanogenmod and made a back up and left it on my SD card. Later when the easy root method came out I switched back to stock. I installed dual recovery and made a back up. Some time later ,using my ever so careful brain, I tried to flash my Cyanogenmod back up instead of the stock back up. This leads me to where I am now. Can't get my phone into flash mode. When I hold down the power button it vibrates but nothing else. When I plug the phone into a power source it just keeps flashing a red notification light. I would really appreciate some help in fixing my phone, thank you.

If you bricked it the same way I did as described above, just try to enter flashmode and flash a stock ftf using Flashtool , the page linked shows you how.

Flasmode doesn't work.
Hi everyone,
I just ran into a problem and am pretty tensed right now.
I just bought an lg g3 model D855 16 gb . I tried the hidden menu and the manual test mode it worked perfect. When i came home, i again put the hidden menu code and by mistake i clicked device test. The phone restarted and went onto the TWRp screen, to get out of that i clicked a few things and wiped everything.
Now ive tried alot of things and read online alot couldnt understand anything.
I am currently having the TWRP screen and dont know how to just get PURE ORIGNAL LG G3 SOFTWARE.
I have never ever flashed/rooted or played with my phones, Just want a simple stock phone PLEASE HELLLPPPP !!!!

I am new to this whole process. Last week I spent every night trying different roms on my E980 (AT&T) but none would work so I flashed back to stock 4.1.2 and rooted. Friday I made the mistake of doing an OTA upgrade to 4.4.2 but the phone continued to work fine until that night I tried to do a google search and the phone freaked out. Started vibrating and closing out screens like I was hitting the back button and then finally just went into a boot loop. Some times its the LG logo repeatedly and others it is the AT&T logo with the little jingle that plays. So I put the phone into download mode and tried to restore everything back to 4.1.2 using the flash tool but the flash tool will not pick up the phone being in d/l mode. Windows chimes like it should when its plugged in and the drivers are installed but the program will not start the software install to the phone.
What should I do?

Well I stumbled upon the solution by accident. Somehow the connection mode got changed to UART instead of USB. Once it was changed back the phone synced up perfectly and restored. The first time it errored out though for some reason but I retried and it worked fine.
Please excuse my ignorance but where do you change the mode to UART in the phone? I don't seem to find that option. Thanks in advance!

I don't know a whole lot but I do not believe there's a setting for to change that in the phone. That's why my phone wouldn't connect when the flash tool was set to sync via that method.
As the title says, i mistakenly selected D855 in Fulmic ROM(Noob mistake). Just this morning my friends suggested Fulmic ROM so i decided to download and flash it. I already had root and TWRP 3.0.0-0 installed. After the download was done, i copied it onto my SD Card and booted into TWRP. In TWRP, i backed up my data as i had already done a full backup a month a go. I was on Stock KK 10C.
When i selected Fulmic's zip, it asked me to select my device but i noticed there was no D851, but there was the at&t version, Verizon version, D855 etc... So i selected the D855 as i taught somehow the D855 and the D851 were somewhat similar and that it would run on my D851, (yea... i now know it was such a stupid assumption i made). So i flashed the D855 onto my D851 and once it was done, i hit the reboot button and the device went off and never came on. I tried booting into TWRP but nothing worked, then i took out the battery and pressed vol up and inserted the USB and it showed me an empty battery sign with a yellow triangle on the lower right side of the empty battery.
When i connect the device to Windows, it shows up as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port.
I am pretty lost here, i dont know what to do right now. I have been reading lots of threads but i havent found any thread that explains how to deal with such a situation.
Any Help is appreciated.
Regards Mickey.
Wow! No replies so far?
People, i am loosing it here. Any suggestions are welcomed. I have no idea what i should do
Cry...and be very angry. Jk
You more than likely hard bricked like others are doing because they're flashing the wrong things...
It's like using diesel in a petrol motor and vice versa. You're gonna have a bad time.
Honestly I don't know how to help because I don't flash things that don't go with my device, I am not being a jerk but just saying, i'd take a look at the hard brick Q&A's ive seen a few of them. They might have what you are looking for ?

If all else fails, you should be able to restore by following the instructions for a hard brick recovery. I warn you it is not a procedure for the faint of heart, but it saved my bacon (AKA, LG D850).
It involves shorting two pins on a chip (can't remember if it's the SOC or not, but it hardly matters). I managed it with a pair of needlepoint tweezers, but the guide instructs you to use a fine wire. I can't imagine doing it that way, but maybe you can.
In any case, the guide that worked for me is here, "http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359" . Just follow it to the letter and don't compound your earlier mistake. (Not trying to be a jerk; just advising against rushing the process or second guessing any steps. You might think it can't get any worse or you've got nothing to lose, but it's still possible to make it worse by doing something wrong.)
Good luck!
