im new to ROMs and all this other stuff, putting it out there before i ask anything. Does this work with R800x models? I havent found anybody with a R800x model and lollipop on it. Second, if it does work on R800x, then i must be doing something wrong cause i cant flash R800_4.0.2.A.0.79.ftf i keep getting an error(attatched as .PNG)
i used the (Lollipop05022015) Kernal provided . theres no Advanced option to make a extension pls help

Hi!! I'm trying to use the last version of CM12.1 20150724, but i´m failing to convert the img into a ftf, my bootloader is unlocked by TP method, so it´s my only chance to do it, i used Ubuntu 12.10 to split the kernel provided with the zip, and the img-to-ftf tools (in Win7) to repack it, but I always get stuck and the phone don´t boot, not even show the boot animation, oh, I also try the beta2 of AOSP, with the same results, maybe I´m missing something?! Appreciated some help, thanks!

It won't touch Your internal storage(music, photo,videos) at all. I think even Your apps would remain same.

Only JB 4.1.2 is supported on XSL officially. However you can choose among several very good custom ROMs from here to enjoy the kitkat on your favorite XSL.

U make sure u insatll ur adb driver for your device in device manager u make sure one adb sony interface adapter is there (Sorry 4 my bad english )

Hey bro. Thank you so much! It looks awesome on my SG Ace 2, it unlocked 726mb RAM instead of 628mb RAM I had on a KitKat 4.4.4 custom ROM. Everything works smooth even if I get in the end only around 100-150 mb free of RAM (this ROM uses a lot of RAM), the looks of this ROM are amazing but I have only one problem: when I go to contacts and after I import the contacts from SIM card, it displays them as the name but when someone calls me or I receive a SMS, it displays their number not their name.... Can't solve this bug at all... Resolution pls?
Edit: A new problem ocurred, cannot send any SMS, going back to kitkat.

Hello, I have a question about wi-fi. When ROM instal, and a doing the first connetion, wi-fi is working, but if I off wi-fi, then it doesn't work any time. Reboot and reinstal doesn't help
what could it be?
Just use PatritionCangerCM11.zip, for me work fine.

help flashing to cm11 on vk810

Im very much interested in flashing my lg vk810 to cyanogen, but i cant figure out how to get twerp, or what twrp even is really. I fumbled around over the last day and even bricked my pad with the unsecure boot certificate error, and had to restore using the lg support tool.
Can someone point me to or help list off a step by step- " how to switch to cyanogen on the lg vk810".
I know its unsupported, and in development, but id love to give it a go anyway. I used to flash my htc inspire to cyanogen back in the day.

Hi! I'm sorry, I have a lot on my plate right this second, but TWRP is the custom recovery you'll need to at least start with on our VK810 4G.

I have issue too...non working quick circle after updating 1.1v to 1.2v....i`m not wipe cashe/dalvik or clean install...
I think the dev said , its removed quick circle and wheather for using xposed.

Firstly a huge thank you to the developer for the splendid ROM.
After following the steps listed and reading all 16 pages it is working very very good.
Like said i have read all the posts from all the contributors, a great thank you from my aide for all of you.
I am a newbie to all thw flashing and rooting ( former ios user here) i have but one problem and i do apologise if this is a repeated question but cant seem to find a fox ( at least an easy one) for the sd card issue. E.g: i cant make a backup of my setup from NOVA Launcher.

Why are my apparatus of this error message?
I have done all the procedures for installation of the ROM but it always appears.
I already installed the original rom manufactures downloaded by site lg install it by LG FLASH TOOLS phaco root in it put the TWRP and do a backup and beginning to install the Stock Rom from scratch, put the Memory Card and install all right but this insists error and continue someone help me?

Hello staff. As recently posted here in the forum, I am struggling to install this rom, I liked want to be able to have it running smoothly on my G3, as already said in the post when I install it I get an error message whenever I start the device for example that this posted here ...
I did the network installation procedure as it says in the tutorial, I install the original rom by LG FLASH TOOLS version 4.4.2 then put root it, install the TWRP and then also put the desired Stock ROM in the memory and try to install but never the right always starts with this error ...
I think if any of you al post me a BACKUP this rom the TWRP will be the solution, if someone can do that for me do a test here I am grateful.

I have reduced the size of the files below, the first one is slightly large than the second. I cant reduce any more without reducing functionality, so if the first one doesn't work the second should, but at least 2 of the main issues, the adb shell problem and wrong reboot option will be fixed in both.
Just want to say a huge thankyou ashy, keep up the good work not sure why, however V1 just wouldn't work for me. Tried twrp2860v2 bam!! easy worked a treat.

New possessor of a T800, I want to root it for using root access of microsd card.
A particularity of my tablet is that I crypted it, with android option.
Do you know if it's possible to use your method for rooting, and with the fact that it's encrypted ?

AFAIK it's only the user partitions that get encrypted, TWRP now supports encryption. It may ask for the password I don't know, but it should be able to root the device by itself.
