If i root my xperia SL, the internal storage like photos and music will be missing after root or not? Please help me??

It won't touch Your internal storage(music, photo,videos) at all. I think even Your apps would remain same.

Only JB 4.1.2 is supported on XSL officially. However you can choose among several very good custom ROMs from here to enjoy the kitkat on your favorite XSL.
root failed !!!!
U make sure u insatll ur adb driver for your device in device manager u make sure one adb sony interface adapter is there (Sorry 4 my bad english )

I've tried several tutorials here Forums new to try to change my room most believe the problem is that the apparatus also not be routed what I find it strange that whenever I restart my phone it goes blue light more it does not keep is only for 3 seconds then turns green so it can not do any of the two modes.

HI i downloaded the rom A3.9.9 Black and when im trying to install in CWM it gives me error. (status 7) symlink some symlinks failed. I tried to download V4... but i cant because the Chinese web site is loading VERY VERY Slowy. Anyone can help? And mirror it to MEGA or Mediafire?

I am from Vienna and on this place i can not let it to say from my side thank you very much for this great Kernel! The V4.1 maches my needs @100% and works really great!
I own a Xperia Arc S LT18i with ICS 4.0.4 stock ROM (4.1.B.431) and have pressed everything out what will be possible with it. have installed a 32GB microSD Class 10 Card from SanDisk in it and thanks Link2SD installed 108 Apps on the phone. Means the most surely on the microSD Card which have a second partition. But the problem with this device was always the small RAM memory. Now this is thanks your Kernel solved because now i am able to swap the RAM memoryand the whole system on my Arc S becomes after flashing with your kernel much faster and smoother. Also thanks to the little CPU overclocking which was not the priority, but i registered it positive. Now my Arc S runs stable also with 1632MHz. Really fine, what other should i say!
A new user experience for me. Like as i have buy a new phone with more power.
When i get my money next month i will spent you EUR 5,- for your great night work. You have make something really crazy and unbelieveable! Congratulations from me, and once more thank you a lot! Something like this i have not made before with any other phone. It was my first time, and i am really satisfied and happy with your wonder Kernel.

WIFI error, Cant connect to USB debbuging and USB Mass storage
I am on stock ROM 2.3.4. My device is Xperia arc.
I recently flash ArcKnight Kernel_v4.1 and flashed the modules pertaining to this version.
I cant connect to WIFI..............it shows an "Error"
When my device is on I cant connect to mass storage
I went into Setting -> Applications -> Development................everything is ticked so I dont understand why its not read on my PC
I cant even go into fastboot. When I which off my devices and connect it to the PC while holding Menu button it goes straight into CWM Recovery.
Please help anybody.
This is kernel for ICS-rom (4.0.4), not for GB-rom (2.3.4). You should use a GB-kernel instead or flash an ICS-rom for using ArcKnight-kernel

Firstly a huge thank you to the developer for the splendid ROM.
After following the steps listed and reading all 16 pages it is working very very good.
Like said i have read all the posts from all the contributors, a great thank you from my aide for all of you.
I am a newbie to all thw flashing and rooting ( former ios user here) i have but one problem and i do apologise if this is a repeated question but cant seem to find a fox ( at least an easy one) for the sd card issue. E.g: i cant make a backup of my setup from NOVA Launcher.

Why are my apparatus of this error message?
I have done all the procedures for installation of the ROM but it always appears.
I already installed the original rom manufactures downloaded by site lg install it by LG FLASH TOOLS phaco root in it put the TWRP and do a backup and beginning to install the Stock Rom from scratch, put the Memory Card and install all right but this insists error and continue someone help me?

Hello staff. As recently posted here in the forum, I am struggling to install this rom, I liked want to be able to have it running smoothly on my G3, as already said in the post when I install it I get an error message whenever I start the device for example that this posted here ...
I did the network installation procedure as it says in the tutorial, I install the original rom by LG FLASH TOOLS version 4.4.2 then put root it, install the TWRP and then also put the desired Stock ROM in the memory and try to install but never the right always starts with this error ...
I think if any of you al post me a BACKUP this rom the TWRP will be the solution, if someone can do that for me do a test here I am grateful.

im new to ROMs and all this other stuff, putting it out there before i ask anything. Does this work with R800x models? I havent found anybody with a R800x model and lollipop on it. Second, if it does work on R800x, then i must be doing something wrong cause i cant flash R800_4.0.2.A.0.79.ftf i keep getting an error(attatched as .PNG)

I'm trying to use the last version of CM12.1 20150724, but i´m failing to convert the img into a ftf, my bootloader is unlocked by TP method, so it´s my only chance to do it, i used Ubuntu 12.10 to split the kernel provided with the zip, and the img-to-ftf tools (in Win7) to repack it, but I always get stuck and the phone don´t boot, not even show the boot animation, oh, I also try the beta2 of AOSP, with the same results, maybe I´m missing something?! Appreciated some help, thanks!

I have reduced the size of the files below, the first one is slightly large than the second. I cant reduce any more without reducing functionality, so if the first one doesn't work the second should, but at least 2 of the main issues, the adb shell problem and wrong reboot option will be fixed in both.
Just want to say a huge thankyou ashy, keep up the good work not sure why, however V1 just wouldn't work for me. Tried twrp2860v2 bam!! easy worked a treat.

New possessor of a T800, I want to root it for using root access of microsd card.
A particularity of my tablet is that I crypted it, with android option.
Do you know if it's possible to use your method for rooting, and with the fact that it's encrypted ?

AFAIK it's only the user partitions that get encrypted, TWRP now supports encryption. It may ask for the password I don't know, but it should be able to root the device by itself.
