That item appears to be mislabeled. It was designed for the shield portable, not the controller.

I just ordered the tab and I am wondering if I can use a folio case with the USB/SD adapter working together? I know I would have an issue if this were my Asus Transformer.

You can, if the folio case is like the Samsung original, if I understand your question right. Then it is a matter of holding it upside-down (auto rotate will compensate).
If the folio case is not a Samsung original, I would not know. Depends on the case.
I have purchased a Gameklip- Universal Casemount from amazon for $25.99 should get it in a week, i have read mixed reviews on the adhesive tape not sticking, has anyone tryed it or recommend a better tape to use for it, wouldent want my phone to fall.
Just got my Moga Pro Power today and the first thing I wanted to do was figure out how to mount my nexus 7 to it and I think I have found a very easy and simple solution. Now, it's not complete because I need a case to do this, but the concept is sound. I have an old GameKlip that I don't use anymore so I modified (read: destroyed) it in order to attach it to my Moga Pro with some industrial velcro, and likewise attach my N7 to the GameKlip. Gonna order a hard shell case for the N7 and glue the GameKlip to the case and I think I'll be good to go. Yes, the velcro is strong enough to hold the N7. Check out the pics for my proof of concept.

Just wanted to come up with a way to attach my N7 to my moga since the built in clip isn't big enough. The gameklip I butchered was an old one I had laying around so I figured why not.
Well I'll be interested in seeing how this works out for you. Looks like it should work out :thumbup:

Also, if you could share the details of how you cut the gameklip and what kind of velcro u used (brand, make), that would be great. I use a TPU shell case to attach the gameKlip to the Nexus 7. It fits pretty well., but i have a Moga Pro controller too that i use with my Note 3. I'd love to have a mount for my nexus 7 so i could use it with my Moga controller.
The IPEGA PG-9037 doesn't fits the phone (it pops out) and the IPEGA PG-9023 barely does but it covers the power button.
Any good gamepad that fits the ASUS Zenfone 2?
Does the Viaplay gamepad F2 or the IPEGA PG-9025 fits the ZF2 without covering the power button?
Some notes: the model is the 2GB RAM (Z00AD) and instead of slim and flat like most phones on the market, is thick and curve in his back
The Shield TV, while small, does take up a fair amount of desk space. There's an official stand for it, but at $30, it's a bit much for a simple block of aluminum.
There are plans for a 3D printed version but most of us don't have a 3D printer.

Are there any plans for a DIY stand that's good looking and easily built using common DIY tools and materials? Or something cheap and generic that fits well?
While we're at it, maybe even make a version that mounts to the back of the TV or monitor?
Hide it makes a wall mount for the shield that can fit behind your wall mounted TV, personally I really like the official stand it's a little pricey but it's solid and has the clean edges to match the shield.
