[Video] Xiaomi Redmi 1S Review

urgent need !!!!

hi frdz my redmi 1s display broken down
i dont want to spend rs4200/- service cost in delhi
i can buyif someone provide me following
1) redmi 1s display
2)old redmi 1s device
3) dead redmi 1s device with working display.

No Solution
1) redmi 1s display
Ans : Then you would have to get it replaced by local shop, not sure about quality and you would loss the warranty too (as they wont seal your device as per Xiaomi's rule/standard)
2)old redmi 1s device
Ans : I dont think any one would be ready to sell Redmi 1S below 5k or max 4500, so 4200 is yet ok to go price. take an example I have Redmi 1S to sell and I would happily sell it on 5k but I do have a costly back cover (iphone style) which I bought at 800 inr so I must add it with price and total would be 500+800 and then you would buy new Redmi 2,no?
3) dead redmi 1s device with working display
Same as 1st.

Hello, I have a Hongmi 1S display, which I think can be used for Redmi 1S. If interested, let me know.

i sold my redmi 1s just yesterday for 6k inr
so no one would ever sell their 1s below 5.5k because it's not available now in india, even many people at olx sell their 1s at 7k inr

BM44 battery (Redmi 2) for Redmi 1s

Hi Guys,
So Recently I got my hands on a redmi 2 and I tried its battery (BM44 2200 mah) on my Redmi 1s. I can confirm that it works perfectly (using Armani Rom CM12.1 R8 stock kernel) .. no problem in charging or discharging.
The thing is I didn't see any noticeable improvement in battery life. Probably because the 150/200 mah bump is not that significant. If you have any experience regarding this fact, please share. I was actually considering buying a new BM44 for my 1s, then I though perhaps I should get a power bank instead.
Also if you know about any other higher mah battery for 1s, please let us know.

Yup, a bigger battery would be great!

A good power bank would be a nice add on instead.

We have to carry the power bank separately, that's y a bigger battery would be better.

Yes,sure but I don't think at the moment there are any bigger batteries available for Redmi 1s and bigger battery means bigger SIZE..

rakki panda battery for our redmi 1s 4000mAH.. does someone tried this?

I just purchased a new BM44 battery from Mi service center and used it in redmi 1s. My phone is working fine but the battery is not charging with redmi 1s. Than i install this rom you provided up, but still same result.. no charging at all. Now what will you say..

yes, i made my redmi note 5 pro into fastboot mode. Then i can see my phone was listed in xiaomi assistant software by the name of "whyred", i suppose "whyred" is its code name.

Looking at the specs I really think it's whyred, not vince

It's whyred global version. You can safely purchase it. Many have already preorder this device from the same seller.

Yes, you must buy that smartphone. It is the one that all people in Europe will buy. The Redmi Note 5 pro is the model suitable exclusively for India. I am confused between Poco M2 Pro & Redmi Note 9 Pro ! There is a xiaomi redmi service center nearby my home. Does the "POCO M2 Pro" get service from "Xiaomi Redmi" service centers ?
Does Poco M2 get International lauch like Redmi Note 9 Pro ?
I thought Poco makes mid / high performance oriented phone but now they are launching budget POCO M2. It reduces the value POCO the POCO name.
Should I opt POCO M2 Pro with 33 w charger or Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro ? Confused

Why would someone buy rn9 pro when same phone with better charger and better miui experience (no ads version) available at same price? go for it. It is only indian version so no international launch. It also get service support across all indian Mi- service centers.

Yes u'll get service from mi but If the mi service center nearby your home thn just go thr and ask them directly rather thn asking here u"ll get clear answer..
And about choosing device
Go for any both are same but m2pro price is little low and performance is little better

i have poco m2 pro i have trusted on your brand that it will have no issue and will proved best phones in india but ,sadly i got issue in just around 2 month
suddenly i don,t know have notification is poping that your phoine has closed unexpetedly and keep restarting my phone ,and im affarid of losing my data i need i quick solution for this .
please fix thi problem it effect your brand image i didn,t expeted this kind of performance from you its very disapointing !

I am facing the same in just 10 days after purchase. The only solution is to hard reset the phone. This will be removed after next OTA update.
