PROCEDURE HOW TO INSTALL NEW FIRMWARE 4.2.1 ON ZP810
How to upgrade with new firmware Zopo Zp810
I give you the procedure more 'easy to install and the new Rom that the recovery of CWM!
1) Unzip the firmware file to a folder eg. zp800 firmware v 4.2.1
2) Copy recovery.img and replace the files in the folder and the file lk.bin rom

3) Launch new Flashtool vers quad_core_exe_v3.1304 .0.119 and select all the files (Tick all) and flash all with the download button!
4) Then copy the sd card in a Superuser:

5) Enter mode 'recovery of CWM and select superuser ....
The game 'that you now have new rights of Roma and Root!
This in my opinion seems to be the procedure most 'fast!
THIS IS NEW PROCEDURE HOW TO ROOT and HOW upgrade the ZP810 with Firmware 4.2 Europe and together Right Root
And also 2.46 gb of space on the phone.

2) Copy all the files in the follow folder in the folder of the firmware (describe up)
and replace ALL the files in that rom's folder.

3) Launch new Flashtool vers quad_core_exe_v3.1304 .0.119 and select all the files (Tick all) and flash all with firmware upgrade button!
You're done! Now you have the new Rom with Root rights and also 2.46 gb of space on the phone.!

PROCEDURE HOW TO ROOT ZP810 ONLY ROM 4.1.(OLD)
1)-Download the following package:

2)-Copy the following package on the SD card that is inside the file that you downloaded earlier:

PROCEDURE
3) - Turn off the phone
4) - Install the drivers on the first page of the Forum for the recognition of the same!
5) - Not accedendere the phone .. NEVER connect it to a usb mail and try to see if it 'was recognized! (always phone in the off position)
6)-Launch flashtool.exe which is located inside the downloaded file.rar
7)-Select Menu 'file ---> open scatter loading file and go to select the file you scatter that is the folder!
8) At this point the program Flashtool clear voice only preloader and must remain selected only the voice of Recovery!
(you should always have had the phone off not connected)
9) Now from Flashtool click the Download button and go to connect the usb cable to the phone
10) you should see in a blink of an eye you are installing on the phone recovery (cwm).
11) just made everything close ... unplug the USB cable and remove the battery for a moment ......
12) Reconnect the battery and turn on the phone by holding down the POWER button + VOLUME button +
13) You should be entered in the Menu 'CWM Recovery
14) go to select zip file and select superuser!
15) Once done reboot and you will see that you have THE ROOT!
That 's it ... make operations easy!
DO NOT rush!

I've heard the phones from Zopo sister companies (H7500+ and Caesar) runs the same firmware. If true, should be good news for getting more developers and custom roms

Hi all, Thanks Ghost 45 for opening this post. I've just ordered ZP810 and I hope in more updates like the others models of Zopophone. About 8 Mpx camera I knew that it is a omnivision branded CMOS (http://www.ovt.com/), but I also knew that this camera does not have the macro mode. I do not know if this is a hardware or software limit. You know something more about it?

I think the hardware in this phone is exactly the same to this other one except the size of the screen and sd included that is 8gB instead of 4

The root file is a zip one that I think should be installed from recovery, but I don't know if this phone has recovery menu implemented.
CAUTION: i have downloaded both firmwares and they are different, starting with the boot image, so although it may be useful for developers, I think IT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN ZOPO 810 OR ANY OF ITS CLONES
Anyway, if you see the videos on youtube for this mobile, the last app in the apps drawer is a green android robot named in chinese that I am quite sure is a super user app, so I guess it comes pre rooted

Linfocita what do you meen camera modes??the minimal distance with best focus is around 5-6 cm..
kuroyume_cl its not rooted yet..yes it has play store and the camera i think its great!!the resolution of the photos i took are 4096*3072..
friedrich420 for the gps....the gps is fantastic!!!i did not expected so good results...with a-gps and wifi closed it locked in 10-15 seconds 12/12 satelites!!i think its really good..
i ll try for pictures tomorow..

Its Usually Due To CTR Recovry But Dont Worry.....!
Just Go To Recovry Mode And Perform Factory data wipe
and reboot and enjoy
if u use ctr recovry and it asks to fix root permissions then click no
