I have a LG G3 D855 (32gb ver) that i have just rooted and flashed resurrection remix rom. The pain of losing default lg g3 features like knock code, split window, camera app, etc is proving more thab i can handle. I've looked aroubd and it seems xposed is the way to enjoy best of both worlds. Can any1 direct me as to how i can do thia on my newly rommed n rooted g3?
I was on stock lollipop until yesterday when i downgraded to kitkat use using kdz method and then rooting via purple drake and twrp and then supersu followed by the rom itself. What do i have to do starring from my custom rom to get xposed? Pls n tq in advance
Ideally speaking id to be want cyanogen12 (i prefer the cyanogen12 ui over the stock g3, its just much more mature n smooth), but have the default g3 bloatware especially Camera n maybe LG Health as well as Knock Code, and then have xposed on top of that so that i can use the g3 tweaksbox
If you have KK installed on your phone no need to go through anything hard. Just download xposed framework on your rooted phone and install it. and then install xposed through the app.
If you have lolipop on your phone:

Hello friends, I am new with the LG players. Anyway, I bought a few days ago the LG G3 D724 Android 4.4.2 KK. V10A-724-02 (Brazil) Dual-SIM; and would love to remove customizations TIM and gain a little more space. But I found nothing in my country, to make these changes. Searching this forum I found on XDA has improved my understanding, already downloaded the PurpleDrake-Lite_R03 to run the root; But still backstop the resettlement process of the stock rom. Could you help me in this process?
- Stock rom Global and installation procedure.
- PurpleDrake really works for root procedure
How can i root lg g3 beat dual sim?
Hi all,
I have rooted Lollipop on my LG G3 (D855). Previously I used xposed framework and had Lollipop style navigation buttons installed. Now I have actually got Lollipop I find that the buttons are back to the horrible old LG G3 ones and I cannot used xposed to substitute them! Is there another way to replace the LG buttons on rooted stock Lollipop?
Thanks
Sean

They are rolling out the update, depending on your country you should have it at this point.
Both of those responses are forgetting he has root, he can't OTA. Only way you can update it your Lollipop is already rooted is by downloading the 20H KDZ and flashing it via a normal upgrade with LG Flash Tool 2014

Hey guys at xda-developers!
So before christmas I recieved an update for my G3 to upgrade to Android L from a rooted KitKat and I want to become rooted again. So can anylne advise me on what to do.
If there is any simple rooting method for LG Android L update.
I want to keep all my data btw.
Thanks. Ask any questions
Im new to the android world and xda so i dont know too much about ANDROID but i know a good amount
Thanks!
You can't root on lollipop, no root available as of yet. If you want root you have to downgrade to kitkat with the flashtool.
Use the LG Flash Tool to downgrade to kitkat (with a 10r build). There are a plethora of guides on how to do this.
Then you root, and install a custom ROM to get back to Lollipop. Cyanogenmod 12 works amazingly well on my D851. It's smoother than the stock ROM. However, you might be able to do the CloudyG3 ROM, which is essentially just what you have now with added features. Assuming that you got the Lollipop update a little while back, your phone sounds compatible. However, if you don't use the QuickCircle Case, I would highly suggest Cyanogenmod 12. I used the case, but made that small sacrifice for this amazing ROM.
Hope I helped!
I'm currently running Cyanogenmod 12.1, Android 5.1.1 on my D855. I am missing the stock ROMs motion gestures, mainly answering the phone by holding it by your ear. And I'm wondering if this is possible to get in Cyanogenmod. Is there a G3 toolbox tweak for it, an Xposed module or anything else, or am I dead out of luck and must roll back to stock ROM? :crying:
Help appreciated.
I have the same problem.. using cynogenmod 12.1 on lg g3 D850..... would anyone please suggest.. what can be done to activate gestures...???
Got some problem . plus cm12 camera r bad.
So for now only xposed on stock (
Hey guys,
My LG G3 D855 (32GB, international version) is still on KitKat, rooted, no custom recovery, with Xposed and some xposed modules like G3 Tweaksbox installed.
It's been working very well so I really didn't see any reason to upgrade to the buggy Lollipop release and then I stopped following all the latest developments on these forums. Now Marshmallow is rolling out it seems like a more compelling reason to upgrade:fingers-crossed:
My questions are
Is there a stable official Marshmallow release for the LG G3? From what I read there was only a partial release for Poland but not the rest of the world
If so is there a reliable root method for it (essential)
Also is it possible to install Xposed and G3 Tweaksbox (not so essential but pretty important, mainly to get rid of the annoying "battery full" notification that would ping and light up my phone all night before I installed G3 tweaksbox (I heard the G4 and G5 have the same issue, can't believe they haven't addressed it - everyone leaves their phone on to charge overnight)
Thanks for any help and advice
Official MM has been released for most G3 models. Best way is to download the official KDZ, extract system and flash it using TWRP and then flash Super su. Will be better to upgrade to LP modem ... Not sure if KK modem works with MM. Also, remember to bump the MM boot using sharpening mod script and set SELinux. Simpler to download a boot image that has been so modified.
XPosed and Tweaksbox works on MM. Remember to use Tweaksbox for G4 as the Tweaksbox for G3 does not work on MM.
