Can we not do the sound mode to the default_gain.conf file in the system\etc folder? It doesn't seem to have a default_gain.conf file in that location. Just seeing if anyone has tried and if there is a different file location or a different file name?
Does anyone know if this will work with our note 4 model N910P? Audio mod for note 4
EDIT: Ok can some one just tell me if they can see the default_gain file in the location system/etc please and thank you! I am on lollipop stock rooted.

Dude... Check it out... The name of the app is Bootanimation Changer, but it can also change the sounds!
Ok.. I understand that it also changes the sound but I wont to set my own sound n not the one which comes with the built in bootanimations in that list of the app.. I hope u got me now.. I dont see any option in the app where I can set my own sound..
if you are rooted then navigate to system/media find the bootanimation you want you use.
unzip file
insert sound files.
rezip
This might help not 100% sure.
I have not tried it dont know if it will work.

I think you just put a mp3 file called "bootanim.mp3" inside the bootanimation.zip file: -
* Extract the file some-where on your pc.
* put bootanim.mp3 in the same folder as desc.txt (this is the root of the extracted file).
* re-create the zip file called bootanimation.zip BUT you must use "store" compression.
* put the new bootanimation.zip into the /system/media folder of your android device (requires a program like "root browser")
That should do it...

some of you who have changed your boot animations may have renamed this stock file to samsugnani. I'll take a copy of that if you have it as well. thank you
The boot animation is in system/media the file s in system/bin call the .qmg files to play.. why you need them comment get custom boot.zip to work??

in order to get the zip files active you need to change these original files i just posted in your system\bin
backup the samsungani and rename bootanimation to that name,
the go to system\media and drop your bootanimation.zip there 3 times just rename 2 of them to ODEAnim.zip and sanim.zip
then the bootlogos will work

Didn't work for me. Does the sound has to be names something in particular?
I found a file named PowerOn.ogg which I tried to use and moved it to the mentioned folder. But no sound on Reboot.
I'm on a custom ROM if it matters?

that's the file you need
go to System/media/audio/ui and place it there....

@Xavier102296 .... Which do you want? The original mp4 version or a version using jpg frames ? Either way it will be a zip file which is installed via a File Manager... NOT a flashable zip.

@Xavier102296 .... Here are the two animations. Not teaching you to suck eggs, just so it's clear for you I'll give you two separate instructions.
1) The mp4 anim .... after you download it change the name to bootanimation.zip, then use a File Manager to move it to the following folder .... /data/local/moodle/ ....
2) The JPG anim .... after you download it change the name to bootanimation.zip then use a File Manager to move it to the following folder .... /system/media/ ....
Please NOTE the following points.... These are not "Recovery flashable zips" .... do NOT open the zip file to install .... if you want to keep your current animation rename it before you start (or it will get overwritten)
I have tried them on my XT1034 and they work on that....Usual words of caution, I am not responsible etc.etc.

Hi. Can someone please updload the build.prop file for OOS 5.0.1? I edited the file to enable daydream by adding "ro.product.device=sailfish", and bricked it.
Request not relevant anymore, as I edited the Build.prop using ADB in TWRP recovery..
