Have you wiped the internal storage before installing custom rom. Maybe there
will be some datas or obb files of games left in your internal storage. try deleting them

[Q] Small-sized backups with TWRP

This question goes actually for @surdu_petru, and it would be nice and useful for everyone if he can answer and give a solution for that large sized backups done in TWRP, even when the compression box is checked. It;s like 10 or 15 GB, too large I'll say. Of course.including the backup of sdcard.
So, how to make smaller sized backups with TWRP ?

Internal Storage & External Storage must not be included in backup ! :good:
Only Internal Storage has about 4GB , and External Storage can be 32GB , why you need to backup this ?
Usually, we use backup only for the rom & also for custom partition in our case !
Is the first time I hear someone trying to include in backup internal/external sdcard, or install a custom rom with stock recovery !

[Q] [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod Recovery [v6.0.4.8]

Hi all, I have a problem with the new CWM.
I trying to get functioned KK (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735775).
1. I have succesfully installed KK rom
2. I have succesfully installed gapps for KK rom
3. Now I want to get more internal memory using the int2ext+ script..but there is the problem..firstly I tried to install int2ext+ but when I rebooted I find out that internal memory is same as without metioned script, so I tried to install int2extV2+..again, no more space in internal memory..so I decided that there is a problem with "no partion"..I tried to find out in mentioned recovery where to partition the card, but I cannot find it, how to solve this problem please? And is necessary to reinstall rom etc. because of "non-succesfully flashed two int2ext scripts"?
Thanks

Mount on windows computer. Use Mini partition wizard. First partition Fat32 + second partion Ext4 (Both partitions must be "primary")

This will not happen.
You should indeed wipe data (and wipe cache and dalvik cache) when installing a new ROM. The data on your SD card will remain there, like your music and other stuff. Just place the *img. file in the root folder.
Good luck with flashing your new ROM :good:
Thank You

PLEASE HELP!!! - memory unmounted or unavailable

hi everyone....
please help me to fix this error on the internal memory of Xperia Tipo: memory unmounted or unavailable. mount memory to continue.
I do not have any MicroSD card in my phone... it's the internal memory!
my tipo is rooted BL unlocked... running a custom rom: Xperia Marshmallow based on ICS build .27
whenever i try to open the camera, or the Album gallery i get this error: memory unmounted or unavailable. mount memory to continue.
also some other apps pops a message stating that there is no memory...
....when i go to Storage and try to click Unmount SD card... unmouting keeps loading, takes forever, and nothing happens!
When click on factory reset (erase internal memory) -> i get this error: SD card has been removed
I have done format internal thru TWRP.... and still nothing happened, and i keep getting the same error!
I contacted the ROM creator , and he doesn't know how to fix this problem!
i think when he created this ROM, he messed up something related to the internal memory!
PLEASE ANYONE HAS AN IDEA.... how to fix that? which file(s) is related to the internal memory in the ROOT directory....
any help or suggestion will be so much appreciated!
THANK YOU ALL
Did u try changing data partition to ext4? Through twrp.. If u didnt, then try change file system to ext2 and change again ext4.. Ur internal memory will be wiped so do backup before doing this. Then make fresh install custom rom.

... I noticed something, and this might make it more clear for you as you understand better than me about fs, partitions... Etc
I put a microSD card in the phone, and booted to system... Now the camera, album gallery and everything else works... BUT WHAT THAT MEANS?
The internal memory only detected when a microsd card is inserted!
Please explain to me... THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP

Just change to ext4 and flash any rom
