Recently I noticed that every photo I take, are low in details and over exposures
I dont know what cause it, I changed roms several times before I notice it, and after I noticed it, changing roms back to stock's, or custom ones, didnt fix it at all
In the attachment, I included a sample
Another strange thing is, even after I reflashed the stock kdz using lg flasher, some of apps from the previous roms still exist
Can someone help me ?
Thanks

Try flashing 4.1 first and then 4.4 KDZ.

I think I found the problem, overexposure happens when flash is in "Auto" and "On" modes
but If the flash is set on "torch" mode in opencamera (only opencamera supports this mode), there isnt any overexposure at all
any solutions beside reflashing 4.1 kdz ?

I dont have that many apps. But after Marshmallow comes out i'll try 1 week only with default apps and we will see if this happen again.
@candyman993 Hmm little different version (thats probably because i have international d855) but Kernel is the same.
What do you guys think ? Can i RMA phone because of this issue or nope ?
Hi. Tried Cyanogenmod 12.1 and Resurrection Mix. In both cases, the camera started upside down and no ways to correct it. No camera flip button etc.
I used Philz and TWRP recovery images. Both same results.
What's happening here?

i Suppose the next step would be to back up your data ,ect and do a factory reset just to prove hardware or software
No. Nothing wrong with the phone. Tried all CM 12.1, Resurrection and even Eragon 9.9. No luck. Had to go back to stock rom and works fine.
On Elephone forum, they are saying that the driver are new.

The newest batches of Elephone P8000 come with a new camera module which is incompatible with the previous one, and roms besides stock don't have the drivers for it. There's no way to get it working unless they find the suitable drivers and add them, but even if they did so, the older models would stop working on the custom roms. For the time being, you best option is to stick with the stock rom.

Odd.
Try using the Mega Unbrick guide to fully return your phone to stock and then try with the latest OOS. If it still doesn't work, maybe best to file a support ticket.

It happened with me before, but since it was only two days I purchased the device, I replaced it. I tried to reset the ROM, flashed global developer ROM but didn't work. It was hardware fault. If replacement is available for your phone try to replace it first or go to service center.

hey guys
So I rooted my Exynos S20 Plus after updating it to ATE6 . Since then when I try to open camera I just get "camera error" even after restart.
I tried to use the Samsung service menu and get "unable to connect to camera service" there
Anyone else experienced this and might be able to help?
Thanks!
Did you try resetting your phone once?
If it doesn't work reflash the rom with odin

Hey,
thanks for your answer.
When reflashing original firmware: Camera works.
When flashing the "vbmeta_disabled.tar" in USERDATA and the modified "KERNEL-G988BXXS2ATD5" (with Mgisk manager) as AP the camera no longer works, even after two full resets via recovery.

"KERNEL-G988BXXS2ATD5" is for the older firmware. Please wait and it will be updated for the latest firmware.
If you follow the instructions you can make your own boot.img to suite ATE6. That will fix your camera issues

Wow. Sometimes I dont know if my brain is actually active and running or if its just melted or sth.
When I flashed the kernel I "checked" the number and was "ah great, the same". But well I somehow still mixed them up.
After manually packing the new boot image it worked
THANKS!!!!!!!!!
