Hello,

The mobile stuck on logo screen. I tried to flash from recovery but this is the result when I push (volume up+home+power)
View attachment 3188777
By the way l have never setup or flash any rooms
View attachment 3188778
I tried all the possible ways to flash stock room or non stock room or even re-partition the E: with no luck
I don't know any information about the phone even if its model is Note II.
So I don't know if this is the international phone or not.
The back details are as shown below

Mr Hesham
Your phone is an International model Note 2. The model number GT-N7100 tells you that.
Can you repost your attachments/screenshots please so we can can see what's going on

Thanks for the pictures. What was the process you were going through when the error messages appeared on the screen?

I tried flashing the room such the attached picture.

Re-partition faild

Hi
That seems like a strange way to flash a ROM. Have you looked at using ODIN? It's the best and most reliable way to flash a ROM.
Have a look at these links
http://www.jayceooi.com/how-to-install-firmware-on-samsung-galaxy-note-2-with-odin-video/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyNmR_tsD90
Let me know how you go
Thanks

I have already used ODIN V 3.04 and the attched Picture shaws the files which I used. But unlikely each time I try to flash it told me " operation failed "and the failure message is " re-partition faild "
I wish I could explain the issue.
Another way to explanation:
1- I tried to flash from recovery with no luck.
2- I have been downloaded the files which appeared on the last PIC
3- I used Odin 3.04 to make a new flash.
4- go to the Download mode and connect my phone to my PC then clicked on Start button on odin after selecting the pit and PDA ....ext files.
5- it seems working well but after 2 minutes I got the failure message "re-partition failed"
Several tries one with check re-partition box another without. Trying flash with Pit file and remove the other files . Trying flash with PDA file and remove the other files. Each time I get the failure message "re-partition failed".

Mr Hesham
it looks like you have the same problem as I did with my Note 2. Getting stuck with a re-partition error looks very much like it is a failure of the eMMC chip.
First, pull the battery for a couple of minutes.
Reinsert the battery and go to recovery mode (VOL UP, HOME, POWER) and perform a factory wipe/reset.
Then go to download mode (VOL DOWN< HOME< POWER) and connect to PC
Open Odin. Make sure phone is connected to Odin
Download the file http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/26440/N7100XXUENA1_N7100OJVENA1_EGY/
Flash the file. Select it via PDA. Do not extract the file.
DO NOT flash the PIT file and leave re-partiton unckecked.
Send a screenshot off the PC of what happens

when used odin controlled the box "re-partition" was not checked? because it is one of the most important steps to verify when a rom is installed, the option is NOT checked.

Did you try the step i suggested?

dear Grwalker,
attached the result of the first step of your suggestion.
I'm downloading the file you mentioned on the 3rd step and I'll send you the result once finishing the steps.

Dear Grwalker,
as the attached Pic ODIN can't find the file because it's extention is " ZIP " and the PDA Browser told that the file must be " tar, md5 or smd ".
also you asked me to don't EXTRACT the file.
what shall I do?!

look inside the zip file, if there are tar files just extract and open in odin.
odin needs tar files.
look at the bootom of the page with download link - quick instruction what to do with the zip file

Mr Hesham
Sorry i should have been more clear. Extract the zip you downloaded from Sammobile but don't extract what comes from the zip.
Select the extracted file in PDA
once ODIN says it is ready click start
Send a screenshot of what Odin does
Thanks

the first try with ODIN V 3.04
NAND Write Start!

Galaxy Nexus Completely Dead

Hi!
I have an HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. It was stuck at the what I believe is called the "Fastboot" screen. It had a yellow warning triangle on it. After trying to flash it with Odin, the screen stopped powering on. Right after I clicked Start in Odin, the graphics on screen started looking weird(Ghosting and weird color lines), so I unplugged it.
Now, when I plug it in, in the Device Manager, a new device called, "OMAP4440" pops up for few seconds, then disappears. Screen shot attached.
Is there anyway to get this back to working order?
OK, I used the program and the link below, and it's back in it's previous state. Now it's stuck on a yellow triangle screen. I can't get it into download or recovery mode.

I tried to flash it with Odin, but it stays at, "Nand Write Start".
Ok, I finally managed to get it into fastboot and download mode. When I try to flash with Odin, it stops at a write error. When I use the Toolkit v7, it doesn't get past the "writing bootloader".
In fastboot, it says, "NO BOOT OR RECOVERY IMG".
You can get into Fastboot? (open bugdroid w/ volume keys toggling reboot and recovery)
From here, just download the Stock Google Images hosted at their site: (this is the Play Store Variant, use Yakju for international model)
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#takju
and use the fastboot command to update them. They include bootloaders and recovery images. Flash the bootloader FIRST!!! [fastboot flash bootloader]

Did you install the drivers properly with the toolkit?
With your phone in fastboot mode type"fastboot devices" into command prompt on your computer, if you see a serial number come up then your drivers are working and you should be able to flash.
Try flashing stuff manually via fastboot, tool kits are convenient but its better to do it manually.
There is a guide available I'll find you the link.

Forget the Toolkit, ADB is buggy enough as it is. Fastboot it using good old command prompt.
Lucky for you, your phone can at least turn on. My phone just died and cannot be turned back on for any reason. It's so sad. I just rebooted it. Placed it into my pocket, took it out, and found out it never came back on. Charging it does no good, I've tried all methods there is to think of. It's Dead as can be.
Thanks for the suggestions guys! I set up abd, but every time I try to flash a file it says, "Unknown Partition".
eg, fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img

That's weird...
Try ODIN with a PIT file, that should map all partitions for the phone and the PDA file.

Where did you get the pit file from? Are you sure it's the correct one?
I had the attached one on my PC. I can't remember where I got it from, but maybe you could give that one a try. Note: I have never used it myself.

You HAVE TO use both the phone file AND the pda file.....if you don't have BOTH it won't work.
I have them for cdma but not gsm....sorry.

Try it like this:
1) Download this and extract it.
2) In Odin, make sure the following are checked: Re-Partition, Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time.
3) Use the pit file I uploaded for the PIT.
4) Use CODE_I9250xxxxx_user_ITL41F_163581.tar.md5 for the PDA
5) Use MODEM_I9250xxxxx_REV_00_CL1075373.tar.md5 for the PHONE
6) Use GT-I9250-CSC-MULTI-....tar.md5 for the CSC
7) Reboot into Download mode and plug into your computer.
8) Click Start

HELLO DUDE!!
ive have the same problem here, one question, how did u took the nexus out of the yellow warning triangle error?
i would love to have it back to the recovery mode :/

[Q] Bootloop issue - need help.

This is my first thread as a user, I have been a lurker for very long time. I have decent understanding of flashing roms on HTC one X and HP touchpad, everything learned from XDA. But I have been facing this weird issue on Unlocked Rogers Galaxy note 2.
My galaxy note 2 was all stock and few days ago when I picked it up while it was charging, phone was hanging on main screen. I simply turned off and since then its stuck in bootloop. I am only getting samsung logo screen. So far everything I have tried, it hasnt resolved the issue.
I have flashed rogers stock 4.1.2 rom from samsung-updates using ODIN, but still its stuck in bootloop. I have tried multiple recoveries Stock, Clockwork and TWRP, phone mostly reboots when I try to do a factory reset. even when I am able to complete factory reset, nothing changes. All recoveries give me errors in line of unable to mount /cache and unable to mount /data.
Right now I have flashed TWRP and it shows unable to mount /cache, and it reboots when I try to do a factory reset.
These are the exact errors
E: unable to mount "cache"
E: can't mount '/cache/recovery/command'
E: can't open '/cache/recovery/command'
E: can't mount '/cache/recovery/log'
E: can't open '/cache/recovery/log'
E: can't mount '/cache/recovery/last_log'
E: can't open '/cache/recovery/last_log'
E: can't mount '/cache/recover/last_install'
E: can't open '/cache/recover/last_install'
Please help.
If nothing else works, can anyone show me a way to hard brick? So I can send in for warranty, coz download mode shows the binary counter?
Thanks
Hi, sounds like you either have a corrupted partition on your phone or a hardware issue. I have had lots of bootloops in the past and was always been able to fix it with flashing stock software with odin. You probily going to send it in for warranrt repair.

Is there any fix for corrupted partition on note 2? I have seen threads regarding s3 but not note2.
Also if I flash Mr robinsons rom from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2004650
it should reset the flash counter to 0, So I can send it in for repair.
I believe to fix a bad partition you need the pit file. I think it is in the stock firmware. I have never had a issue where I could not do a factory wipe/reset. You need triangle away app from the play to reset counter. You need to be on stock software, stock recovery, stock kernel but be rooted to use triangle away
Sent from my SGH-I747 using XDA Premium HD app
---------- Post added at 08:20 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:16 AM ----------
Your issue is most likely hardware related because you were on stock software when you started having problems and you had not flashed any others software and you flashed stock software through odin and did not fix your problems
Sent from my SGH-I747 using XDA Premium HD app
I'd say try flashing a new kernel, and doing a factory reset
Edit...I re read op, and I think pit file also...

If that doesn't work I would definitely try flashing the pit file with the stock firmware in Odin.

sorry for the late reply, had to leave country for few weeks. So I tried to flash stock rom (redownloaded 4.1.1 from samfirmware) again through ODIN, and its still stuck in bootloop. when I boot into stock recovery after flashing stock rom, I get "E:failed to verify whole file signature, E:signature verification failed."

I know you are having bootloop issues and im not an expert by any means. However, should repartition be checked? I know typically under odin you never want that box checked but maybe in this instance you do.

well I am trying to repartition it by using pit file, as I think the errors in CWM are indicating that partition is messed up.
Ok so you have boot loops check it out,
here is list of what to grab odin version here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33854395&postcount=2
follow those direction just insert your stock instead of cf auto root tar md5
- Follow these instructions to the letter. Do not touch any buttons or checkboxes that are not listed below to touch!
- Unzip the attached Odin3-vX.X.zip file
- Download and unzip the CF-Auto-Root-....zip file (see posts below this one)
- If you end up with a recovery.img and cache.img file, you've extracted twice. You need to end up with a .tar.md5 file - don't extract that one
- (USB) Disconnect your phone from your computer
- Start Odin3-vX.X.exe
- Click the PDA button, and select CF-Auto-Root-....tar.md5
- Put your phone in download mode (turn off phone, then hold VolDown+Home+Power to boot - if it asks you to press a button to continue, press the listed button, or run adb reboot download command)
- (USB) Connect the phone to your computer
- Make sure Repartition is NOT checked
- Click the Start button
- Wait for Android to boot
- Done
go to next post and grab cf auto root for i317m, IF your going to attempt to reboot
grab zip fro stock build http://www.hotfile.com/dl/180165074/47da708/I317MVLALJ2_I317MOYAALJ2_RWC.zip.html
and un zip with 7zip
place in odin pda slot as the directions from chainfire's post, remove sd if installed and continue.
when finished let reboot and it will hang on boot ani. pull battery, go into stock recovery and format cache and factory reset, then reboot.
you should be good to go at that point. if not pm me.

Boot your phone to download mode by pressing vol down+home+power buttons together. Then plug in the usb cable, run odin and select the md5 file. Click on start. Be patient it should automatically reboot within a few minutes. If it doesn't try flashing a custom recovery like TWRP through odin and do a full wipe before flasing. Hope it helps!!

What error do you get in odin when flashing stock firmware? Is your phone being detected by odin in the first place? Is the ID:COM port lighting up blue which means successful connection has been established between phone and odin.If ID:COM doesn't light up then you need to change your USB CABLE (if you are not using stock samsung cable ,if you are then use another stock samsung usb cable)Screenshot the error if any you get in ODIN and upload it for us.

and when my mobile restart still stuck on samsung logo and still can't access recovery mode
Definatly seems like there was an issue with Odin, but you need to get it into download mode to return to stock then try again.
Had the same ****; Please check if your internal storage is available. Mine has the exact same problem and it could be due to faulty hardware (emmc).
To check if the internal storage is mounted check your recovery. it will indicate that it couldn't mount system and a range of other mounting errors. You could use adb to see which volumes are mounted.
(Check my thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2716444 it has detailed info about how to check your volumes)

[HOW TO] Fix ODIN fail while updating to 6.0.1 MM

I had a hard time updating my 928F to 6.0.1 via odin,
everytime i start flashig i get fail message from odin and my phone get stuck on dowloading screen,
But after a few tries, watching couple of "how to videos" and a little bit of luck i managed to pull it out.
So lets get started:-
Prerequisites:
1. Stock 6.0.1 firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
2. 7zip from http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
3. Last version of ODIN from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
4. TWRP (I mean compatible)
1. First, for best result you need to do a clean flash by doing advanced wipe from TWRP (Dalvik / ART Cache - Cache - Data - Internal storage - System).
2. Unzip the firmware you dowloaded and you should get xxxxxxxx.Tar.md5

}
3. Rename to xxxxxxxx.tar
4. Unzip it again and you should get that:
5. Rename "Hidden.img" to "Hidden.img.tar
6. Make a new folder and move what you get from last unzip EXCEPT "Hidden.img.tar".
7. Using 7zip,
8. After 7zip finish up, load the new compressed file in ODIN "AP" or "PDA" section.
9. Boot your phone into Dowloading mode and connect it to your PC.
10. Press start on ODIN.
11. Now after ODIN finish flashing and before your phone is rebooting, Enter Dowloading mode again and flash "Hidden.img.tar"
12. Now your phone should start up and install new update in stock recovery.
13. If you got stuck in bootloop, boot in stock recovery an perform a factory reset and wipe cache.
CONGRATULATIONS

Hi...will this work for galaxy c7? I got exactly same problem

Partly bricked... SM-N975F

Hey guys.. Ive been a visitor in XDA forums for quite a while... And i been running root and custom FW with more or less every samsung from S2 and up...
But i just got my self a note10+ (atleast thats what ive been told) and i wanted to root it up and throw a custom FW on it to run in Samsung Dex...
So i succeded updating the FW. I unlocked the bootloader in dev. options. and unlocked it again in download mode by holding the vol. up. key!
But since then i had problems... every time i run a FW in Odin... Then if i dont get a error saying
SW REV. CHECK FAIL(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: B BINARY 7
pit_flash_binary - Unsupported version
Then i succeds but when its going to erase everything after the reboot from download mode then it starts up and stops right after... And then i can only go recovery mode and download mode... How do i just write the correct firmware and have it start up like normal... just wanna undo it all... Do i need some kind of samsung support software in windows? and how do i know if it is a note10+ ... Even though download mode says SM-N975F... But still i get error when i flash a FW downloaded with Frija for that model...
Hope to get some help
oh btw... it connects as this when im in download mode:
"Checking Connected Devices: SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem #2 ( COM12 )"
is that normal?
bump?
Hey there,
SW REV. CHECK FAIL(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 8 BINARY 7

This, as far as I understand just means that the bootloader on your phone is on a newer version than the one in the firmware you're trying to flash. Usually flashing just stops there.
Then i succeds but when its going to erase everything after the reboot from download mode then it starts up and stops right after...

You COULD try to simply boot into recovery and wipe the device once, the phone would usually do that on its own but sometimes fails. Mind describing what exactly happens?

For that, you either need the original packaging or just trust on what Odin-mode is telling you.

I kinda don't trust Frija. For me, Bifrost always worked like a charm. Use it to download the firmware for your SM-N975F and give it your correct region code.
For flashing, some people use Heimdall, I think Odin is pretty simple (as far as simplicity in modding goes).
By the way, if all fails, you could try installing LineageOS 19.1, throw in openGAPPS for Googles apps and Magisk/Lygisk for root (if needed).
Good luck and have fun!
Cheers!
I found out i got EXACKLY the same issue as the guy writing on this thread:
Need help with semi-bricked Note 10 Plus (SM-N975F) - Stuck on recovery/download mode
Didn't know where to post this exactly, to be honest. This will be a long post I was flashing AOSP roms in the phone. Tried to go back to One UI for the VoLTE thing In one of the AOSP roms I couldn't install it in Lineage Recovery (older version...

Already tryed still nothing... But what happens after a 100% succes in Odin is:
Then it reboots and after a few secs it says "Erasing device" for like 0.5 sec... And then it only goes black screen... At black screen then i can only go download mode if i press both volume buttons at the same time for 1 sec. Or recovery mode if i press vol up and power. And thats only if i have a USB-C connected ofcourse.
And whats the issue is... when it stops erasing the device... Why does it stops after 0.5 secs? it normally goes like 2-5 secs ... But also ... After it stops and in black screen... If i continue into download mode and open up the bootloader then...

I been around TWRP, Original recovery and Lineage recovery... But as the guy writes on the other thread. Then it shows 0 MB on the data partition, and i have to format it before it shows up again with 223 (or something)GB again...
Hey there,
Could you try switching file systems around? TWRP lets you format your partitions with stuff like ext4, f2fs and some other file systems. On several custom ROMs, the file system sometimes is the difference between a system working or bootlooping.
Good luck and have a nice day.
Cheers!
Already tryed exfat and f2fs and then back to ext4
I might have found a solution
I tried to update firmware N9750 android 11 to android 12 with (Ap file + odin patched). I don't flash bl ,cp,csc files . the phone screen shows a software error, need to open the smart switch software on the computer to recover. I open the smart switch on the computer and it does not recognize the phone. odin patched still recognizes the phone is connected. i reset odin and flashed 1 BL file. phone booted again with bootloader + AP file is android12. and modem and csc are android 11
1: Try flash combination firmware?
2 : Try download firmware stock new bootloader
Download odin patched
Try flash firmware files one by one
restart phone go download mode flash file BL ..done
restart phone go download mode flash file AP
restart phone go download mode flash file CP
restart phone go download mode flash file CSC
If ok flash full 5 file
sorry my english is not good
someone could help please?
