[Q] [P5210] Odin problem - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Tab 3 10.1 in TWRP boot loader. I cleaned the all the files in the recovery mode including data, system, dalvik and cache. Now i am not able to connect to odin via computer. All my other samsung devices are recognized in odin except the TAB. I tried installing customs rom but it doesn't install and keep booting back to recovery mode.

See this thread and follow the steps. Also - uncheck autoreboot in ODIN. After flashing is done, shutdown tablet and reboot into recovery to flash superuser
Good luck

Twrp are not boot loader, TWRP are recovery. And did you try to reinstall samsing usb drivers? It might work out though, and Please tell me the full details, including what you did from the beginning.

All right. I rooted my tab using twrp. It was working fine for a week. By mistake i wiped the data, system, cache and every other thing using the advanced wipe mode in twrp. After wiping, my system doesnt recognise my tab, everytime i restart my tab it goes in recovery mode and gets stuck.

Have you tried using Samsung KIES? I know there are some who don't like it, but I have used it with no problem.

One more idea - unplug phone from PC, uninstall KIES, uninstall Samsung drivers, reboot phone, reboot PC, reinstall drivers...check if tab is then recognized. I've had to do this occasionally...but maybe you've tried this too.
If that doesn't work, uninstall them again, reboot, install Samung KIES and let it install the drivers. Then connect phone and see if tab is recognized.
Good luck

[Q] How to resolve this bootloop

Hi, I have a problem on my Galaxy GIO GT-S5660.
After turning off my phone, this has gone in bootloop. I've tried to search solutions on the forum, but no one has worked.
I can't go into recovery mode, just into Downloading mode and Emergency Downloading mode. When I try to flash it with a stock rom with Odin, it works until the reboot: when the phone is going to reboot, it doesn't start again. Odin takes his 5 minutes and say "PASS", but the phone is in the same bootloop and I can't use the Recovery mode.
I tried to flash the rom with Odin just using One Package option and either putting 4 packages.
Any idea?
Thanks!
P.S.: Do you know what is "Parameter Clear", "PDA format", "MD5 RAM Check" and "Phone Boot Udpate" under the "Debug ONLY" menu? I use Odin Multi Downloader v4.42.
what did you do? rom manager?
cuz not booting and corrupt recovery cant happen out of nothing, and it are complications of using rom manager on the wrong way.

BOOTLOOP
After updating, from samsumg, my android doesn't start and i cann't use it. Try everthing, any ideias?
It sounds like we have the same problem.
My phone won't boot normally (I just get a black screen that flashes every few seconds) and I can't get into recovery mode, only download mode. Tried flashing with Odin and it didn't seem to change anything. I don't know what else to do.

I have the same black flashing screen when my Gio is charging, but I have the Samsung logo flashing every few seconds when I try to switch on the phone. What did you do on yours? Rom Manager or what?

It might have been that I tried to read /dev/stl5 (EFS partition) and that corrupted it. Or it might have been that I tried to flash it using heimdall (which I later discovered doesn't work on Gio). That didn't seem to do anything though, so I'm not sure what actually bricked it.

I would try to use PDA format under Debug Only menu in Odin 4.42, if I only knew what it does. Or maybe use Boot Update, under Debug menu... do you know any official manual of Odin and his Debug options?

I tried those. PDA format makes Odin crash. Boot update doesn't help.

Can you guys still boot into recovery? If not, try flashing recovery via Odin. Once in recovery, factory reset your device, wipe system, wipe dalvik, wipe everything. Then try once again with Odin to flash your stock ROM - try a one package file (includes everything).

I can't get into recovery. If I boot while holding [home], the screen just blinks every few seconds, the same as if I boot without holding anything. I have tried flashing CWM recovery or stock ROM with Odin; it doesn't seem to change anything.

It's happening the same form me... I never used Rom Manager WTH!!! I flashed a lot of times on my samsung galaxy ace stock roms, and never happened this... dunno what to do but this is so strange... can go in download but flash when I flash any stock, stays the same "flash" bootloop, samsung logo only 1s and disappear 1s and the same... nothing...

[Q] stucked on boot logo. didnt flashed twrp or cwm before it got struck.

I rooted my note 2 using framaroot.apk. it rooted
without any prob. then I unknowingly installed
chainfire 3d. it installed cf3d drivers and when the
phone on its way to restart, strucked on boot logo. I
came to know that flashing with odin could help. I
dint enabled usb debugging before this got struck. I
tried odin to flash twrp on my note 2 via download
mode, odin recognised my device but failed to
flash. is this becoz of not enabling debugging. pls
someone help. pls pls pls!
Try to get to stock recovery. This will activate fastboot (Correct me if I'm wrong). From there you can access the phone with adb or the toolkit. You can restore the phone then

no not necessary but once the rom is up and running make sure u tick that option and enable developer mode as its considered good just like getting admin rights on windows.
I hope u understand for now , since any custom recovery is not working so no other option but to flash stock best is to get this dmg odex N7100XXDMG1_N7100ODDDMG1_N7100DDDMG1- Odexed - India it will help you in future too its just stock with root
if you already have other just proceed with that except a 4.1.1

flashing is not a issue of usb debugging, but its recommended but not necessary .if you think there is a prob uninstall drivers and start fresh using odin I have done it many times with my previous phones and it revives.
No use asking a silly ques if i am sure the rest is upto you or push recovery via adb
get into download mode and flash stock

Note will not boot to anything

Hey guys Last night I tried to install the newest twrp. It installed fine. I made myself a back up of my current system, everything. So I got to wipe the system to install a new rom. It gets stuck whipping the cache, just sits there for 3 min, then it restarts itself. Now the tablet boots to the Samsung galaCy note logo and that's it. I can no longer get into recovery or system. I can boot to download mode but when I press volume up it just restarts back to note 10.1 2014 logo. I pretty much f, ed right. Any help would be great thanks.

Unfortunately, yes.
If you can`t get to recovery, then probably you are bricked, are you sure you installed the correct TWRP version on your note.
last chance is to use kies and a stock image.
it seems it's more careful to use twrp 2.6.x instead of 2.7.x.

This is the one I installed and yes it is a 2.7.x version. What can I do with kies?
Thanks guys for the help
Maybe you can try to flash an stock image (4.3 or 4.4) with kies.
Sure you can' t go into bootloader mode to flash with odin ?
Just to let everyone know, I let the battery completely did on my tablet, waited a half hour and she booted right into download mode. Got the new kitkat 4.4.2 image and flashed it with odin no problems. Boots right into recovery and system no problem. Will now root again and install twrp. Thanks for the help guys. Love this site.

[Q] Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T110 keeps going to CWM Recovery

My tab keeps going to CWM Recovery whenever I boot.
I have tried:
wipe data/factory reset
reboot recovery
reboot to bootloader
wipe dalvik cache
My CWM version is: v6.0.4.8
I'm thinking I need to reset the tab using Odin? Is this possible? What are the solutions? Please and thanks. Getting worried here...

Yes, that's what I did. Worked out fine in the end.
I had to "restore" three times because I keep getting a bootloop whenever I install the binaries for Super SU.
Apparently, I need to choose the "Normal" method, not the "TWRP/CWM" option.

The prob is if you use Software or APP function to Boot into The Recovery it will ends into a Bootloop.
You must always use The 3 Buttons to Boot into Recovery.

[Q] Stuck at Samsung Galaxy Note II Logo

My phone turned off because of drained battery so I charge it. But when I turn it on, It's stuck at the logo.
So I'm using DN4 ROM for my device and the latest TWRP.
I tried wiping dalvik / cache and then factory reset (when I factory reset it, it will turn off and then stuck at the logo again)
I tried flashing a custom rom but I got an error
Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset
E:Error excuting updater binary in zip '[location of the zip file]'
Someone help please. Can I flash via odin?

Is it the same problem as mine?
You might want to download official firmware of your phone from sammobile (According to country and network be careful with that)
Flash TWRP first so you can Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, System, Data. Android will be gone if you do this. No OS.
Then flash the official or stock firmware then check if it's successful.
Then root. Then flash TWRP again just to be sure then flash your custom rom.
its not how hard hit its how how you get hit and still move forward!
Alright .
Check baby Check.
got the original firm ware from sammobile now i will flash the twrp file clear the catch and then catch yall back here when i get results.
