[Q] No mobile data with wifi connected. Please Help - T-Mobile HTC One (M8)

Hey all, I'm having an issue with my phone. Currently I'm running Android 5.0.1, my fastboot getvar all is:
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 3.19.0.0000

I have the official tmobile RUU installed and the tmobile recovery. When I enable wifi and connect to a network, my mobile data drops, it won't find t-mobile towers anymore. Here's a recording of what's going on: youtube.com/watch?v=eiukBP8asBg (note: in the video I'm running ViperOneM8, not anymore.)
Can anyone give me any ideas how to fix this? I've tried wiping reinstalling the tmobile ruu about 5 times. Nothing seems to be working. At this point, my phone is relocked, and stock rom.
I've also tried making a new APN with t-mobile's info, that didn't work either.

I'm not smart enough to help, I have problems with my data connecting at all right now, hopefully your issue gets fixed, figured I'd just let ya knw, that a Moderator edited my Getvar All post to delete the Serial Number and the IMEI numbers since those shouldn't be public information

Have you tried a factory wipe? I had issues after upgrading my phone which was solved by a factory wipe - and yes I re-installed all programs via the store not via and type of backup.

I found these RUUs here http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8/general/official-ruu1-55-605-2-t2883845 ,
but it's said that they are for the M8_VZW, and my device is M8_WLV. I don't if they're the same, and I don't know if I can use these RUUs for my device without causing issues with the connection. I'm worried about the GSM/CDMA differences. I use GSM btw.
Please help I really need it to fix my phone.

You have the Verizon Model ID (MID) and product name, those are the correct RUUs.

How do I update to Marshmallow on a rooted Bell HTC One M8?

I realize this is probably asked fairly often, but I did try to find the answer myself. So I thank you and apologize in advance.
In any case, I've been using lollipop for some time on my M8 now. It is rooted and S-On. As a result, I can't simply OTA up into Marshmallow. I bought this phone used, and I believe it was Bell, but I'm uncertain. I was hoping to update to Marshmallow (and keeping my files intact if that is at all possible), but am totally at a loss as to what I should be doing. For one, not a whole lot of threads about Bell, so I'm unsure what files I should be using, but beyond that if someone could give me a nudge in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
To get things started, my fastboot getvar all is:
Code:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>fastboot getvar all

You can unroot it within supersu app itself.
Then restore system & boot only from non-rooted 4.20.666.1 backup and keep your data, install 4.20.666.1 stock recovery.img. You'll receive OTA up to Marshmallow with your data intact.
You can have all those in my thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
Thank you, everything worked out perfect, though it took a little longer than I thought it would. One issue though, it seems maybe the radio is weaker? I can't get to LTE most of the time in places I had no trouble with before.
For anyone going through the same thing, if Sense is crashing after your update, just go into settings, apps and clear out the data for Sense.
No idea about the radio matter .. maybe an updated fastboot getvar all can tell something if not correctly done.

It's definitely having some trouble getting up to LTE, but it does connect to LTE once in a blue moon so its not the APN or something stupid like that.

Can't run a nougat aosp rom on my M8

I recently picked up an M8, and unlocked the bootloader, twrp etc, and installed a nougat rom. everything works fine without a sim installed, wifi etc, but when i put a sim card in the phone and it boots, if I'm not on a wifi network and it turns on data, the phone reboots. if I turn the phone on in a wifi area, phone boots fine, its only when i turn off wifi and data kicks on it'll reboot. This only happens when I try a nougat rom, any marshmallow rom will run fine no problem, whether its sense based or aosp.
Here's the phone info. its a rogers phone. I'm s-on as well.

I guess I solved my own problem, I didnt realize its been discussed in the canadian thread, its a known issue...

[SOLVED] Microphone and audio apparently not working

It appears that neither the microphone nor the speakers are working.
I've noticed this problem with several different roms and I've just gone back to ice 8.2.2.
I've tried using the phone, voice recorder, running film and audio files and have also run a diagnostic with *#*#3424 #*#
The end result:
Dailing crashes the dailer or the call ends immediately, depending on the ROM.
Trying to run films via youtube returns an error.
Trying to play audio files causes the audio player to stop immediately.
I cannot change the ringtone because I receive a message that the file cannot be played.
Have it broken something or is the phone itself broken?
Audio issues (especially on more than one ROM) are usually due to outdated firmware.
What does it say for hboot, radio number, and OS number on the hboot screen?
If you know how, do fastboot getvar all, and post the results (delete IMEI and serial number before posting).
Hmmm.... outdated firmware...

My sincere thanks man, all it took was the phrase "outdated firmware"

You're very welcome. Although your firmware didn't' turn out to be outdated (from the getvar data before re-flashing the firmware). The radio baseband number 1.29xx corresponds to the latest firmware 6.xx (last one released for M8, Marshmallow). But sometimes flashing the firmware again will fix audio issues, which was the case for you.

M8D losing mobile network connection after a while on LineageOS

Hi, I have a weird problem with my dad's M8D. It worked perfectly well on stock and was fully updated as far as I can tell. I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the latest TWRP to install an official LineageOS image. I did not change the S-ON status, nor did I flash any radio image or something.
After setting everything up, I noticed that after some time, it would lose the mobile network connection. I tried a slightly older LineageOS image from the beginning of March and I even tried an Oreo image - the issue is always the same. Mobile network is cut off after a while and all APNs are cleared out. I did manage to reconnect by creating an APN once.
Here are the vars:
Code:
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 3.19.0.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 1.24.30336021.13G

Hope anyone can help me here - my dad really loves LineageOS over the stock image and would love to keep it.
I'm having the same problem. Both on LOS 14.1 and 15.1 the network connection freezes for a few minutes, repeatedly.
Has anyone found a solution? Should I try to return to a sense based Rom?
Thank you
