[Q] Need help with Quadrant scores for 2.5.2

Running 2.5.2 and Hyrda #1 Overclocked Undervolted 1.15ghz v1.0 - After initial install I got a score of 1148 - now I can't break 1000.
Any suggestions????????

i have a 1268 1397 with the settings below!

I had a hard time breaking the 1200 ceiling with 2.5 and 2.5.2, so I tried the frankenrom sense - now I am getting over 1400!
running 1.115 hydra#1
One thing that I did once I installed frankenrom was fix permissions - I hadn't been doing that every rom I tried. Maybe that is what helped so much

Edit: Top score for me was 1409

Going to try Frankenrom today. I'm still getting in the 1000's. I know I can do better. I'll post results.

use adryn's one rom to rule them all...its second wave and frankenrom in one rom with vanilla and sense flavors

1100's with stock kernal on Frankenrom - 1251 with 1st run on Hydra

1407 second run on Hydra

1425 third and final. I'm new to Frankenrom. Is it me or does it look pretty stock to orginal rom?

CPU Overclocking

Anyone has managed to overclock the cpu of Samsung Galaxy W?
I've tried with both SetCPU and CPU Master with no results, as the max frequency cannot be increased more than the default speed of 1400MHz..

I've talked about this before.
Arco refuses to add higher speed frequencies to his kernel before making sure it's stable and smooth.

Is that overclocked or just using the stock kernel?
Frosty is where it's at.

Check out what I got on stock leaked jelly bean with ktoons kernel
This one was dead stock no overclock at all

I dont get now were near that im running v3 of djs rom and with the kernel it came at stock 1.5ghz

Then I'll flash ktoonsez kernel and test again (with no overclock) to compare.

I scored a 5877 everything totally stock. I am wondering if I odexed my system if that would increase the score...

Nope no over clock
I didn't over clock its on the usual 1500 megahertz. Although there is a majorbug that my screen keeps fflashing blue its kind on annoying. Anyone know how to fix it?

Disable hardware overlays and blue flicker will go away. Video doesn't work with hw overlays disabled though so I just deal with it.
Basically uvli6 and uvli7 have the flicker where uvli8 doesn't have the flicker. BUT uvli8 gets worse battery life so that's why it isn't used in the ROM.

[Q] LINARO kangaroo kernel with Viper rom

Can anyone comment on performance of ViperINC ROM using the new LINARO kangaroo kernel that's been ported to vivow? Does it help with lag any? Not break anything new?

It runs great, but if you want more raw performance you should install oneshot which is built from our source lol

Our source for the kernels is from the Chinese version of the inc2 (vivo_ct), both kangaroo and oneshot/new sense/have sense are built with linaro tool chain , kangaroo kernel max freq is 1.4 vs 1.9 GHz for one shot , both are a solid choice over stock kernel , try em all out :thumbup:

ok, thanks for the clarification. i am looking for more stability and reduction of the viper lag than for overclocking.

ok this is my first thread and first post.. but i always here on galaxy y forum even im not register to this forum..so i decided to share my best combination tweak on Hyperion 9 or even other custom stock based rom.. so please do this!! this will not harm your galaxy y device. but this combination tweaks.. will fly ur device and you gain more battery save..
just flash velocity tweak by Nex.t and pure performance stock tweak by Jeeko.. and also i recommend to you to use stock kernel.. like this! just flash this kernel using kernelbackuprestore by hnkotnis..remember if u have any boot.img file to your sd card..delete it .. just to make sure to flash this stock kernel!

Velocity and PurePerformances X are tweaks he said to use the stock kernel which came with your SGY when you bought it.
BTW 'Best' ROM, tweaks, mods threads are banned on XDA.
I see the @op is junior so don't make this kind of threads again.

thats what i said man.. and that what you called a combination tweak.. if you only use velocity tweak.. the phone will very smooth but your battery is draining faster.. but if u flash pure performance stock.. your battery will become normal or will save.more energy.. thanks man for trust.. and to used my guide.. i hope others will.use this

Is it Safe? I think pure performance stock tweak by Jeeko is enough to process the H9.

yes you're right.. but if u flash velocity and pure performance tweak together.. your device will fly..you cannot imagine how does it feel the smoothness and fast and battery save.. just try this men.. i swear this is good!! comeback here and feedback after u try.. and btw this is compatible in any custom rom stock based.. thank u

no.. if you flash pure performance stock ..you get init.d support .even your kernel didn't have init.d support.. so i suggest to flash pure performance first before velocity tweak..
