has anyone ever got this to work. i am looking forward in getting a dual sim card adapter for my wing
Hi Guys,
I'm looking forward to buy a dual sim adaptor which preferably dosen't require cutting of sim cards and is durable.....that leaves only one type of dual sim adaptor which makes copies out u'r SIM cards and puts it on single sim card like this 12 in 1 Sim Adaptor
However, this type of adaptor isn't compatible with some sim cards, So is there anyway of knowing before hand weather my sim card's can be copied or not?
Let me know, if anyone has tried this kind of adaptor..
Regards,
i got a question about this weird phone i got abroad from my mother....it's a Galaxy S III Tracphone, it doesn't have a sim card slot only a micro sd card slot
how would i be able to use this here at the philippines? this is the first time i've seen a smartphone without a simcard slot
Yesterday I had to switch the SIM-card in my GNex. The new one is a combi-SIM-card (an ordinary one where you can break out a micro SIM).
The ordinary one wasn't recognized so I broke out the micro SIM and tried it in my iPhone. It works flawlessly.
Then I used a micro-sim adapter to put it in my GNex again. Not working again. Then I tried to place the micro SIM manually in my GNex. Moved it a little bit — airplane mode on — airplane mode off. Again nothing. I also tried it with another micro SIM card. Again no luck.
The only type of SIM cards which seem to work are the old ones with the bigger connectors but sadly I can't get one of these anymore for my contact since they are all combi-SIM cards now.
So does anyone have an idea how to get that SIM card running in my GNex? It's too young to retire it :/
This is the equipment:
Strange my micro sim works great without adapter. Just needed to fiddle then restarts it and it picked it up
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
One of the SIM card reader PINs seems to be gone. I already ordered a replacement SIM card reader from eBay for 5€.
The repair-shop told me that T-mobile SIM cards could still work since only the lower right PIN is missing. I don't know why but the shop-guy was right.
EDIT: I was able to fix the missing PIN temporarily by using tinfoil )
I am considering buying a brand new unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 and using it on Total Wireless, which is a Verizon MVNO. I started reading about dual SIM adapters. What deal-SIM adapters work well with the Samsung Galaxy S9? What are the shortcomings of using these? Do you lose the ability to have a micro SD card? I assume only one SIM card can work at a time or is there a way to have dual receive, but switch to the other SIM cars, as needed?
