I'm a bit confused after reading many threads.
I'm thinking of buying an ATT SM-T707A. But I don't want an unrootable device. The locked bootloader is very annoying but for the use I have in mind the lack of custom OS options isn't a big deal. But I need root.
So, I presume a new one from ATT or online will have (or rapidly update to) Lillipop. Is Lollipop rootable on the ATT 8.4 707A?

Hello, good people! I bought a new tablet Samsung Galaxy tab S 10.5 Verizon on Ebay. And I had a Problem I can not install the Russian language which has not been in the settings! Morelocale 2 and Language enabler does not work! Tell me please how to do the right thing. I load the screenshot ihz settings on the device.
I learned that on this forum people can hepl me with setting of Russian language it is the main my purpose! Thank you!
Efforts steps:
From other people I learned that it is necessary to put root it or install a new version of Android right which has to be with the Russian language. I liked the second idea because it is 4.4.2 and I want LOLIPOP 5.0, or at least something. And I found the information that you need to do through Odin and all that, but nowhere I could not find the firmware version for the SM-T807V.
Firstly you can't get root unless kingroot works, second you can't flash anything other than official firmware of which there isn't any for your device.
Your bootloader is locked so don't even try to flash non official firmware.
I'm using a brand new Samsung Galaxy JS (SM-J200G) on Android 5.1.1 using Kernel 3.10.9.
If anyone wants an active tester to build CyanogenMod for this phone, I'm available.
FYI, I've only rooted a phone once or twice before but I am a Linux freak so with a little help, I should be able to provide all the info you'd require.
Also, I don't own a Windows machine, if that's required. I only have Linux machines around.

It was network locked. They provide me network unlock code.
Niw i m not getting voLTE. I tried to flash indian rom. But it stopped at modem. Bin and failed. Pls help me to get voLTE.

Hi guys. Recently, i bought a Galaxy Note 5.. but i didn't know the problems affiliated to this version.. the AT&T version... Very difficult update without ota, same for root. So, i now ask for you and we maybe can start a discussion thread. Is possible to do root now to this phone?

So is better to have 5.1.1 but rooted? And there's a metod to edit build.prop without root?

I'm one step away from letting my friendship with samsung end ...
I bought a new or refurbished S7 active G891a and hoped it had a low android version. Unfortunately, out of the box is version 8.0 RG3.
I am looking and looking but I find a guide for root 8.0, only guides for version 7.0.
I can't downgrade with ODIN. A verification error appears.
It's a bit strange, because for G930U there is no such problem:
[Easy_Root/Unroot][Any_Oreo/Nougat_Firmware_V4_Bootloaders][Tmp_Twrp_Recovery]
When I had S5 active G870F, the whole root procedure was identical to G900F.
I also see that the G891 is similar, because it works with the custom room with G930
So can't I find the root for 8.0 or didn't it?
If you know anything about root 8.0, tell me about it.
Or maybe you know how to turn off verification so that I can try to upload SM_G930_FLAT_OREO.7z?
