I've been looking for a decent enclosure for my pda for a while. A friend of mine bought the Alu-hard-case which seem not that convincing to me. I recently found this case:
http://www.handyshelter.de/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/2292
whichs seems pretty nice to me. Anybody who's got some experience with the case?
Does it fit with an extended battery?
Thx for you help
Michi
i'm also looking for something like this but i dont want access to any of the functions as i will not be using it as a fone very often
although it could be modified slightly i suppose......
but back onto your question.......
from previous experience with zip type cases they normally stretch where the material is around the zip (the bit between the plastic and the leather)
providing you dont store any cards or any bit in there with it it should stretch.....
i think i'll get one soon as my XDA EXEC will be with me tomorrow
I use a case designed for the Nintendo DS. Here is a similar case: http://shop.brando.com.hk/DSzipcase.php
This type of case works very well for me. I use my Universal with the extended battery ON always. It protects it from everything. I bought a similar case on clearance sale at Radio Shack for $2.
Anyone know of a good exercise case for the MT4G? I bike a lot and it would be great to find something I could strap to my handlebars, but I imagine an arm case would work too.
nevermind.
Hey,
So I am looking for a thin type of silicon case (I have seen many out there), but I am trying to find one that is specifically made to be ultra-grippy. I have tried a few cases in Verizon's retail location and they feel sort of slick and not that much more grippy compared to the phone itself. Does anyone have any suggestions on something that sounds like what I am talking about?
To be clear: I am not looking for a hard case, something soft and light that doesn't add a lot of thickness to the phone, but still has that grip advantage.
Thanks!

Check the sticky in this forum. Has all case reviews and suggestions.
I don't want to make my phone bulkier if possible, but I would like a kickstand. Does there exist a battery cover for the S3 that has a kickstand in it? I haven't been able to find one except a weird thing with wings on ebay.

I believe so. I have been on a few Android forums and this question tends to re-surface. You may have to order it online. And, in that case (excuse the pun) you may have to do some research on which are a reputable sites. But, they are out there.
Hey folks,
I recently found out about the Toast skin that is made of wood resembling a wood back Moto X. I'm really interested in getting one, but I was wondering has anyone used the skin on a case opposed to directly on the phone? I customized my Moto X so I don't want to lose that by sticking the skin on. I'd also like to be able to easy take it off rk either use no case or the current case I own. Any advice or answers are appreciated! Thanks!
I've not done it myself yet, but thought about it as well (also because I'd like to be able to swap it out readily if I want). I suspect you may run into problems when the case flexes. I don't know how flexible the Toastmade back is, but because it's actually solid wood, I expect it won't flex a whole lot. Therefore, things like TPU cases probably won't play nice with it. Get a really hard case, like maybe the Powersupport Air Jacket, and maybe it'll stay together just fine? The adhesive would be the next question. From what I've read, it's really strong adhesive and isn't likely to have problems sticking to hard case materials.
Curious what others may have to say about this though; if anyone has actually done it, how it turned out.
I'm wondering the same thing. My only concern is getting one and it being too stiff to change when I want too.
