[APP][PORT] Location Based Wifi for Lollipop

Introduction
So many people were asking so, here's the Location Based Wifi used previously by Sony on KitKat.
I have adapted the app to work on Lollipop and I have also add the possibility to launch as a regular app from your Launcher to avoid any modification of Settings.apk.

You'll have to modify the xml files in your settings.apk and repack it.
if it doesn't work for you, just get Smart Wifi Toggler from Play Store instead.
IMHO the best alternative solution for location based WiFi is Llama, a great apk which uses phone masts (no gps) to determine your wifi.
I use it for a long time and it works great.
There is a newer version for Lollipop on the homepage of the dev - google for it -
BTW thx @niaboc79 for porting it.
hello guys, what about the battery life with this app/mod, anyone can confirm its better?

This is made to be useful.
When I am leaving my house, Wifi is automatically turned off and when I am coming back, it is turned on.
Wifi always on when not used should drain battery so I think it may help with that app.

Same here. Really liked this feature and it was a shame Sony got rid of it. Their reason made no sense at all and they didn't really back it up with anything.
I've been using Wi-fi Matic in the past: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.cprados.wificellmanager&hl=en.
Its pretty similar to Smart Wifi toggler.

add a profil in tasker to switch to 2g when on wifi and back to LTE if no wifi and you'll squeeze some more juice

So it's better to use app which i provide bez I'm using it too n it's working super fine .min have Moto g5 Cedric model XT1677.
This app isn't night mode in really... it just reduce the brightness... We can do this without this app...
The real night mode turn off blue pixels and apply a sepia filter.

Using custom rom "one button navigation" on moto g5 plus

I wanted to go to Android 9 so installed Carbon 7.0 on my Motorola G5 Plus. I like it a lot but in stock Motorola (through the Moto App) I was able to use my fingerprint reader to do "one button navigation". I am not able to find how I can set this up under the custom rom. Does anyone have any experience or help in doing this? I turned on the gestures in the android settings but that just results on a pill on the bottom of my screen and would like to go back to using my fingerprint reader. Thanks for your help and if I am posting this incorrectly please let me know!

This forum is for Moto g5(Cedric) not for Moto g5+(potter) you can post your questions there. If you want finger print guester then you can get in the pixel experience ROM(potter), you just need to set how it works such as (right to left)recent and other functions to get it work.

Question GT Master Edition

I have noticed that there is not yet a XDA section about the GT Master Edition. Is there any plan to add it?
Not sure i can ask this here. Mods pls take appropriate action, if needed.
Is anyone who owns this device face problem with android auto? My car display gets frozen when the phone screen is locked. Searched on the web and this seemed to be prevailing in Oppo and OnePlus. Think Realme UI 2.o is also same as Color OS.
Cant find a breakthough yet to solve this problem

Interested in this. We need a XDA section.

I request the members here discuss about the GT master edition, so it gets to the attention of the mods.

We have got our dedicated thread now.
realme ui keeps closing tasker in my phone (gt master edition).can anyone plz tell solution .i have done everything i could find on google.
allowed autostart, disable battery optimization, removed from standby freeze, given all permission to tasker, device admin active .
can anyone help?
Hello, at low battery notifications it notifies me every few minutes and with the light on the edges of the phone screen. I would like to do this for the other applications, not just once. It can be set from your phone settings or you need a dedicated application.
Thanks
