I have been searching this band for quite some time now Motorola advertises with this band but I can't find it anywhere. They only sell the ugle metal bands that don't even fit like they should

It doesn't exist, was never manufactured by Moto. There are some copies\similar ones available from china though, but they are not exactly the same.
I wonder why they made this ugly band that doesnt even fit around the edge of the moto 360. Instead of this made up band that is awesome and fits perfectly.
Its a shame... Its the only band that really is worth buying

Totally agree. They started selling it but only if you buy a new watch and not separately. I trully dont understand...
It looks very similar to some Rado wristband, but I'm not sure which one would cost more lol

Someone should get one and do some measurements, on the inside of the case to see how much thicker the lte version is

i ordered thaat one on eby.lol.. its the only one i could find.. hopefully it will get to me before the phone does next weekend

I just purchased the case and protectors at my local VZW. Inside of case is .89 mm.
can somebody do full measurements like with a dial caliper and mathematical formulas
ive not been able to find any cases ive liked and since my dell streak took a tumble never to recover im much more careful with my mobile devices. i saw these in the shops and thought they would do the job nicely.

i used the smaller of the 3 sets and it came out well. the pads didnt stick directly to the back on their own so i used a needle to apply super glue to the pads which did the job
they protect the phone/camera and act as extra grip without any extra bulk or ugliness

hey, nice diy idea! good way to avoid getting the camera lens scratched... will hunt around for something similar and give it a go.
interesting idea.... saw those on sale in a store a while back... I hope i will find them and give it a try.... always had scratched camera lens cover in my old phones....
I was thinong about making a wrap watch band for my Moto 360. How difficult is it to a) make a watch band from scratch and b) tak an old wrap watch band and put it on the Moto....i hear the strap has to be pretty thin...
Ordered a watch from Amazon. I'm going to cross my fingers that it will fit the Moto! I'll post the results Sunday if it gets here.

at first I have to say that I'm german, so please be sorry for my bad english!
I know, this thread is a bit older but I really want to know how I can use such a small band for the Moto 360? I think that also the link between band and watch has not 22mm? Or do you use a 22mm spring bar and a smaller band? But than it would wiggle, wouldn't it?
Sorry for dumb questions, that's normally not my matter, so I really have no idea.
If somebody knows how I can use this, please tell it!
I called Motorola Sales dept, and told them I had just bought the 360 to go with my N6.
But I wasn't happy with the stone leather band, and I wanted to upgrade to the metal one.
Before I even asked, she offered the $25 discount.
Congrats, the official metal band is really nice.
Yeah, I wanted the Pebble or one of the other bands on Amazon, but at the end decided to go with quality and support from Moto.
It has shipped from China already and I should have it on Thursday.
Got it. 5 days before it was supposed to arrive.
I'm loving it. Now waiting for the tool I bought on Amazon to change and adjust the band myself.

push the little tabs in on the underside of the strap to open.

I just updated my post with picture !!
As far as I can tell, only the Black Metal band is available with the black case.
I really wanted (and was willing to pay for) the Black Metal Case / Black Mesh band. This is what they showed in numerous pre-release pictures, but apparently it is not available. I have not seen Black Metal Case / Black Leather band available either.
The black case is more expensive because apparently it is a true DLC finish.

I ended up settling for the base Stainless/Leather version because I was able to get one at a good price. I'll upgrade the band when I find one I like -- Possibly the "official" Huawei silver mesh.
