[Q] Cannot Browsing in Chrome While on Mobile Data - Sony Xperia T2 Ultra

Hi all,
I have an issue when browsing using chrome while on mobile data.
For example: www.detik.com, below is the error message that I got:
The request is not understood.
Technical descriptions:
400 Bad Request - Check your spelling for the requested URL.
Another example is google.com (or any https link), it will simply give the error: This webpage is not available.
But those errors wont happen if I use wi-fi connection.
FYI, I have mobile data plan, I can WA, BBM, twitter, facebook, etc but not browsing in chrome.
Anyone experience the same issue?
Please help
Thanks

Maybe your mobile data connection is bad, so it won't load the page

Talked to the CS already and as usual they said no issue bla bla bla.. Ask to restart and bla bla bla..
Thx anyway.

Tilt2 web browser site login issues

I just got a Tilt 2 the other day, and this is my first HTC phone. I love it so far, but I am having an issue of not being able to login to any site in the any either opera or IE. It either tells me the login in incorrect (which it is not) or that my session has expired, without ever actually logging in.
I tried to install skyfire, but it will not even run, just returns errors and closes.
Anyone else have/had this issue or know what the problem might be?
I can not login to any site, I have tested 10 or so sites.
I have also tried putting both browers in mobile only mode, with no change.
I actually have two of these phones right now, and the problem is on both phones.
I have the same problem, specificaly with mesh. It states my cookies are expired, even after clearing all cookies, history and browser cache.
I take that back.
Logins for things like cpanel/plesk/billing scripts (whmcs, ect) and web scripts such as WP or Joomla and even Kayako don't work. But I can login to sites like ESPN/Sportsline, ebay, ect.
I take it there is something missing from these mobile browsers that is not passing along the proper info to these scripts that does not allow them to be logged in.
I finally got skyfire to work, but the same logins fail in that browser also.
I even tried to install the beta of mobile firefox (can't remember the code name now), and it was horrid, worst mobile browser I have ever seen.
There has to be a way to change cookie settings or something to allow these type of script logins.

HTC Desire not connecting to certain HTTPS site?

Hi all, i just got my HTC Desire but have been spending hours trying to get it to connect to my uni website,
https://portal.shef.ac.uk
It pops up with a message saying the certificate is untrusted, i press continue and then it says, " Data connectivity problem, The server failed to communicate. Try again later."
However it never works, I have tried using dolphin which brings up the same message.
However Opera and fennec browser seem to load the page fine.
Please can someone tell me what is going on.
Many Thanks
James
i Think u need to install the certificate from the web page, so the phone see it as trusted site..?

too many server directs

Hi,
I am having a problem when I try and access my Sky.com email account from my Desire. I get to the Sky.com page, click on my email, sign in and then get "Data connectivity problem" and "the page contains too many server redirects" and then a "web page not available" screen.
I have plenty of memory available on both the phone and the SD card. I have cleared cache, history and cookies etc.
I have removed all reference to sky on the phone, googled it, and tried again. Same result.
I have no problem accessing my account on my pc and I used to be able to get onto the account using the phone. It makes no difference whether I am connecting via wifi or the mobile network.
Any ideas what this means and any ideas how to solve.
Thank you.
The browser is having a problem with the way the website redirects it to the correct page. Possibly try a different browser - Dolphin, perhaps?
Thanks for that.
Have just down loaded Dolphin (nice browser) but no joy, I get exactly the same messages.
It isn't a problem accessing the account however because I can, via my pc, organise the Sky emails to be sent to my hotmail account which I can access via the phone.
However, as I used to be able to access my Sky emails from the phone but now cannot, I want/need to sort it out!!
Any further ideas?
I don't have a Sky account so can't check to see exactly what's going on here. You say "I used to be able to access my Sky emails from the phone" - do you mean on your HTC Desire? And it's just stopped working properly? That being the case, I suspect you're going to have to wait for Sky to come up with a fix. NTL/Virgin users have experienced a similar problem: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=40027958
Thanks again.
I used to be able to access my e-mails directly from the Sky account on the Desire. I went abroad on holiday recently and couldn't access them (ie get into my Sky account after signing in) on the Desire, I presumed because I was out of the UK and something needed to be changed in my Sky email account settings.
However, since returning, the position remains the same. Google provide the email service for Sky.
PS And on that subject, I am also getting a security warning telling me there are problems with the security certificate in that the name of the site does not match the name on the certificate ie Sky is the site; Google is on the certificate!!
Did anyone get through this? I am getting the same damn problem.
Someone pls help.
Try operamini, that's what I allways use when websites play up.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

data leak?

So I'm using lenovo z2 plus running on aicp 13.1 and I recently noticed a strange thing. I'm using the stock phone app and when I try to search contacts, I'm getting contacts which I don't have saved on my google account or on device. When clicking on the contact, it shows the users all info like address, name, email, etc and at the end it shows a website link(https://auskunft.at). after researching a bit, I found out that the 'auskunft' is an Australian telephone directory for private and commercial information. Now, my query is what the heck is going on? When googling the term, google shows prompt on their site saying 'This site might be hacked.' When searching the name in phone app, the link shown in contacts info shows that it is running a query from the site's server and giving result back. Now I don't know if there's an embedded phone directory service in the app or is this some kind of data breach. Please share this to the pros.
That's just the dialer looking up for contacts online. Disable people lookup in dialer setting if you don't want those.
