I installed a custom gpe based rom ( resurection remix )on my htc one m8 and I love it. I miss the htc launcher though. The perfect combination for me would be htc launcher with google notification center and google settings apps. I installed the htc apps from the play store and they are all working. I also installed the htc blinkfeed launcher but when I open it it says that it isnt compatible with my phone. Is there any way to get it working ? I have a european m8 converted to gpe and resurection remix rom installed on it. S-OFF , rooted.
I used to have HTC Blinkfeed when I was running GPE ROM on my device.

Need help here. I would like to install the stock HTC footprints app on my evervolv rom. I have the apk but when i try to install it just says ' was not installed" any ideas?
Evervolv is AOSP, that is an HTC app & Sense based, it won't work.

I have tried copying system apps from a leedroid ROM for HTC one x but doesn't install correctly any ideas ?
Could probably push the apks through adb (I think).

no it's not possible at all! if you want sense apps and no sense, then try a desensed rom (in many roms you can choice if use sense or not, during aroma install)

im just new in using HTC one X and android based phones and im enjoying it and looks great, i just rooted my device and want to install the different themes avaialable in this forums, how do i do it? does my downloaded apps will be gone? sorry for the noobly question and can anybody give me the installing theme mod guide? thanksss a lot..

If it is aosp based rom... U get heaps of themes on Google play... If u r running sense based rom. Then check apps and theme section.... Every rom got their individual theme support..
For asop based rom.. Install the theme app like usual apps from Google play store.. U gta install it via theme engine..
For sense based... They have ota support like viper x rom or install it via recovery..

And if you decide to flash a theme, make a nandroid backup before. When it does not work somehow you can easily restore !
One thing: If you are still on Stock ROM, most of the themes here will not work because Stock is odexed and the themes are made for deodexed CustomROMs.
The Apps you downloaded from PlayStore will download automatically again when you flash a CustomROM and tick "save my device with google" (dont know exactly what this point is called when setting the device up, because here it´s called "Gerät über Google sichern" )
The same for contacts/calendar, if you sync them via google, they will be synced with the new ROM too.

If you want to install new themes then you have a few options, you can continue to use the stock rom that you are on right now and look for some themes that will work with Sense; the playstore is the best place to get these themes to use in conjunction with the launchers, for example Go Launcher, Nova Launcher etc.
Your other option, which is more fun, is to install AOSP roms and then you will be able to install a lot of smexy custom *themes

I just want to ask if there is any possibility to install htc sense 6 (or htc sense 5) to a non-sense ROM.
My device is HTC One X and the custom ROM I'd installed is AICP - 5.0 from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632591) with updates installed.

1: use a non sense rom and use a themed launcher
2: use a sense 5 rom
3: use viper x which has some sense 6 features
4: those are the only 3 options you have

I search for just the htc 6 launcher to install over the aicp rom but I didn't find anything.
And AICP rom is the only 4.4.4 rom which worked for my htc one x ... all others roms I've tried have problems, so I don't want to change rom and install a sense one.
