As I am well aware most of the regulars on these threads know xposed framework has fnally been implanted with ART. Unfortunely, as of right now it's not a simple install an APK, set SU access, go for gold. There have been a **** load of problems going on for a lot of people. Has anyone got xposed to work properly on their devices and how did you go about to doing it ? I already have SELinux set to permissive, but the log from xposed is reading something about modules.list.....

Working fine for me. I just followed the instructions they posted online. Flash the .zip, install the apk, and then install modules. I'm using a bootmanager, youtube adaway, and Pandora Patcher. I'm running BadBoyz latest Sprint Lollipop ROM.

Just bootmanager. Click outside the not installed dialog. I read somewhere it works otherwise. I think it's working but really haven't messed with besides stopping a handful of apps.

Has anyone been able to get this working? If so, how?
AOSP lollipop, download official V4A LP, flash it. Set kernel to permissive and install drivers.
On Touchwiz however v4a works via same method, but the devices memory killer always kills v4a even if you have it installed or notification turned on unless you somehow set v4a as high priority to not be killed.
I think found a solution for TW Lollipop V4A if someone wants to try the last thing I did to get it working.
Freeze SoundAlive with Titanium Backup. Couldn't find Settings/Sound/effects. After searching and trying everything, the last step nearly had me stumped.
If it makes any difference, I'm still on the stock OTA OB7.

If that doesn't do it, I had also installed viper to /system/priv-app in a folder with arm and lib sub folders with the .odex but didn't get a generated .odex.art file in arm folder so I get a quick "Android is updating... Starting apps" on each boot. I'm not sure that Odex is necessary. But since some are saying lollipop oom kills viper quickly, the deodexed version in /system/priv-app folder with lib sub folder may be necessary.
But I believe the permissive kernel is necessary: 3.10.40-N4-Sprint_AELKernel-v1-LP

How did you get SELINUX into permissive mode? was it the new AEL kernel? I stopped Soundalive and have been using ExtremeBeats. Sounds pretty good. Not like a viper though.

Yes; AEL. I copied the kernel description but didn't post a link because of the requests not to. But there are links in the old/discontinued thread. That's where I got the kernel.
I saw a new AEL kernel out also. Ill have to give that a go when I get sat down. HOpe it works. I think itll fix my Cleanmaster in shutting down startup apps.
Definitely works with permissive set so selinux.

hello mates,
yesterday i uninstalled snapchat. cause i got beta tester and i downloaded the beta. tried to login again but yeah.. see the picture
i rooted with unlocking bootloader, flashed twrp and rooted with supersu
i searched up the issue, some say you have to uninstall the xposed framework.. did not installed it first.
also tried it with installing xposed, installed the snappref module (what sometimes did work) but this also did not work.
installed it again but no positive progress.
the snapchat webside says that rooted phones may have issues.. i have rooted my phone now almost have an year and had never issues like that.
i just don't want to fully unroot and root again.
has anyone of you a idea? or is it possible to unroot the phone for some time? like in cyanogen mod, where you can unroot your phone in the dev options.
here the webside on the pic if u want to re-read it: https://support.snapchat.com/en-GB/a/failed-login

Well Snapchat detects if you have xposed installed or not at login. It works on rooted phones otherwise.
I would suggest, install your custom ROM again , login into snapchat and then install Xposed framework. that's what I do and snapchat works.
Maybe a sync issue ?

To manually sync your account
On your mobile device, open Settings Settings > Accounts > Google.
Touch the account whose data you want to sync.
In the top-right corner, touch menu More > Sync now.
After your Google Account is successfully synced, make sure that you have the latest version of Google Play Store and Snapchat app. To ensure this, update all your installed app under “My apps and game” on your Play Store account, then reinstall Snapchat to get the latest version of this app.

Hey there, I'm having trouble updating the lineageOS nightlies on my oneplus 2. I (clean!) flashed lineage-14.1-20170209-microg-oneplus2 first and had this problem there.. (just like this guy https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/lineage-os-14-1-check-update-internet-t3554440)
Then I tried flashing the current newest nightly, lineage-14.1-20170213-microg-oms-oneplus2... My problem is still existing, I can't manually update my OS.

Update
Using the updater I have no luck at all. Just corrupted zip file message - running clark nightly on moto x pure with lineage os superuser and twrp but no other mods or tweaks or whatever. Then I i stumbled upon lineage OS changelog app in the play store and boom, easy smooth updates. I am a noob compared to most here, no developer, a nothing to do with any apps. This worked for me.

Do you mean the "LineageOS Changelog" app by Vasudev B? (I'd post a playstore link but I'm unable to do so right now cause I'm new.)
I installed it but all I can do is to download the nightlies I click on with my browser.. Thats just like I'd download it on my pc and flash it on my op2.. no difference. I'm searching for a solution why I can't update LOS without manually installing it on my device and flashing it just like it worked on CM14/14.1 or simply the stock ROM for the op2...

Yes that is the app. No it isn't quite automatic. Eiher that app itself, ROM toolbox or something i can't think of off of the top of my head picks it up right away but I still need to make a couple of button pushes. I think i could automate the process with an app but I am so new to this I haven't tried. The weekly update is still an adventure that I enjoy lol.
Hi all.
I make clean install of stable 8.5.2.0 from xiaomi.eu and now I have problems with Magisk.
On weekly builds I installed Magisk v12 containing hide fix + xiaomi safetynet fix and everything works file. Root and SafetyNet. But right now, when I Install, Root don't work but safetyNet does.
When I flash Magisk v12 downloaded via Magisk Manager, root works, but safetynet don't.
Any solution?
So right now it looks like:

No, ofc no. I use magisk on dev/beta releases before and I know I can't have Xposed or SuperSU.
I tried it for a week and safetynet test was always working.
The problem is that, even if locked and with no restriction on battery use, it was randomly loosing root.
I installed Magisk12.0_Hide_fixed and then xiaomi-safetynet-fix from TWRP.
Then I updated the manager from Play Store and reboot.
Any idea?
In the meanwhile I switched back to SuperSu.
BTW I also tried installing systemless SuperSu and then Magisk but root wasn't working at all.
I should try that again after the recent SuperSu updates.
I don't know if it's just me, but I updated to C.47 by:
Magisk uninstall, restoring stock images.
installing the update
Magisk install to inactive after OTA completes
Reboot.
I have 4 modules. USNF, osm0sis busybox binary, debloater and systemless hosts.
The only way I was able to get them to work was by disabling all modules, rebooting, finding the google play store APK download from APKMirror and installing it.
Now, I have randomly cloned APKs, but they were only ones I debloated. I debloated again and they vanished.
I admit this thread might be a huge waste of your time to read, but if someone is having this trouble, it might bail them out
I am in same situation like u with Google play store and Google services play crash .I try everything but no luck .finally idowngrade to os 11. But I'm very intested to know why Google applications crash .The only magisk module installed is : Octavia dialer A12.
Wow, good to know this is happening and that you found a workaround. I guess I'll probably wait a few days to install this and see if other people are having issues.

I've just discovered a workaround isign the app force LTE/5G. With this app is possible to open the Network settings and force the 5G as it was possible in Android 11 using *#*#4636#*#*

Zygisk is fine, only installed modules should be disabled when you update to avoid possible issues. Most modules won't have any issues, though.
