hello mates,
yesterday i uninstalled snapchat. cause i got beta tester and i downloaded the beta. tried to login again but yeah.. see the picture
i rooted with unlocking bootloader, flashed twrp and rooted with supersu
i searched up the issue, some say you have to uninstall the xposed framework.. did not installed it first.
also tried it with installing xposed, installed the snappref module (what sometimes did work) but this also did not work.
installed it again but no positive progress.
the snapchat webside says that rooted phones may have issues.. i have rooted my phone now almost have an year and had never issues like that.
i just don't want to fully unroot and root again.
has anyone of you a idea? or is it possible to unroot the phone for some time? like in cyanogen mod, where you can unroot your phone in the dev options.
here the webside on the pic if u want to re-read it: https://support.snapchat.com/en-GB/a/failed-login

Well Snapchat detects if you have xposed installed or not at login. It works on rooted phones otherwise.
I would suggest, install your custom ROM again , login into snapchat and then install Xposed framework. that's what I do and snapchat works.
Maybe a sync issue ?

To manually sync your account
On your mobile device, open Settings Settings > Accounts > Google.
Touch the account whose data you want to sync.
In the top-right corner, touch menu More > Sync now.
After your Google Account is successfully synced, make sure that you have the latest version of Google Play Store and Snapchat app. To ensure this, update all your installed app under “My apps and game” on your Play Store account, then reinstall Snapchat to get the latest version of this app.

I had a similar issue and was told by someone who loads a lot of these that the apks for the store have to be installed in proper order. I believe if I remember correctly that it was just one of them that had to be installed first and the others didn't matter, but cannot remember which one. I think it might have been the framework, but am not positive about that. If I am incorrect about this I'm sure someone will chime in and answer! You could always try it and if it didn't work remove them and instal in a different order.
You do not have to uninstall any of the 4 google related apks. Simply reinstall them from adb with -r option.
Also, there are later versions of Google Play Services and Google Play Store apps.
Google Play Services = Latest is 6.1.83
Google Play Store = Latest is 5.0.31
I can confirm they both work on FTVs (with the latest firmware)
Download links for the updated apks
Links for download:
Google Play Services: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4721cgqc9ktjj5m/Google_Play_Services_v6.1.83_(1522025-036).apk
Google Play Store: http://www.mediafire.com/download/l3s46qotly4skkg/Google_Play_Store_v5.0.31.apk
In settings enable unknown source, its next to a adb. Install google account, google play service, framework and google play store. After that I deleted youtube, and installed youtube google tv from the play store. This worked for me.
Hello everyone, (yes I used the search bar)
I cannot seem to find an efficient method of installing Snapchat on a 7.1.1 OS that allows Snapchat to verified.
I would be thankful beyond measure if someone could point me in the right direction.
I am only asking because Viper4Android is so necessary that I cannot choose between the trade off of using Snapchat or V4A.
Regards,
ab
Iam using my Titanium Backup just fine
I am finding it difficult to find a proper tutorial as well. It seems though if I mess up the app installation, that I would have to go through the entire rooting process again....
Hello, you can simply unroot from SuperSu (or your root app), install Snapchat, and re-root.
I tried something, Titanium backup, app to hide the root status, but in the end I found that this is the simpliest thing... IMHO

Yes, and it seems that I can get it working for a short period of time until I am forced to re root and flash all image files again...

Really? I've rooted like two months ago, unrooted, installed Snapchat and rooted again.
If it can help, I'm registered to Snapchat beta.

Did something change in 7.1.1.?
I went into SuperSU on a clean root install and clicked and disabled the 'Enable superuser", then installed Snapchat, logged in, and re-enabled the option.

Hi guys.
Searched the forum and google but did not find related discussions.
I and some of my friends updated our S9/S9+ to the 9.0 system and had this serious problem. App installation will be stuck during the process for individual apk file or from Samsung Store. Google store doesn't have this problem but many apps I use do not have the Google Store version.

Updating the app or installing a new app from apk or Samsung Store will be stuck forever on the 9.0 system.
I can't do factory reset now because too many important data and can't do backup for a long while.
Any thoughts? Thanks
Did you disable any app using eg. Package Disabler Pro?

I was asking, because I had exactly the same symptoms. Turned out that re-enabling the McAfee anti-virus solved all my issues with installing apps getting stuck.

Thanks! I should try this. I currently reset my phone the second time and it is just fine again. I may check that option the next time.

I checked the McAfee anti-virus thing, most of the stuck problem solved. But some apps like the Samsung Pay, Samsung Calculator, and some others will still be stuck during the installation, both from Samsung App Store and Google Play and individual apk files.
Disabling McAfee
I have tried everything. Turns out it was as simple as unfreezing McAfee. Thank you!
I have rooted my phone and google pay worked just fine. One day, It randomly started crashing when I tried to initiate a card.
Using "Magisk Hide" to sort that out.

Wipe data of Google play services
Does it open at all or does it show some kind of error message in the dialog when you try to open?

It will open but when it tries to contact the bank after I confirm the card details when trying to set up Google pay, I'll get a white screen
On my phone Google Pay (plus a bunch of other banking apps) works perfectly with Magisk Hide. Your problem is probably unrelated to root. Try this: go offline and wipe the data of Google Pay, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework, Google Play Store. Then reboot, go online and see if things improve.
When Magisk hide doesn't work for me, I've found that using the function in the Magisk application to "install Magisk under random name" then deleting the regular Magisk app fixed all issues for me. May be worth a try.

I hid all Google apps services, anything with Google in app sub name. Make sure magisk app is hidden. Reboot. Then wipe storage and cache on everything with Google in it's subname. Reboot. Profit
I've tried to get contactless working on my Pixel 6 Pro, but I'm still getting the same error:

I've turned on Zygisk and the DenyList, and marked all Google Play Services along with Google Wallet to be on the DenyList (see attached screenshots), and tried resetting all Google {Play Services, Wallet, Play Store} cache and data but that's hasn't fixed the issue either. Magisk is hidden as well. ~~I do pass SafetyNet using `Universal SafetyNet Fix` when tested using `YASNAC` (see attached)~~ I *did* pass SafetyNet until 2 minutes ago it seems, as I ran `YASNAC`, passed, then re-ran it, and failed (see attached for both results). I'm not why I've suddenly stopped passing SafetyNet, but could that be the problem?
I've had a similar problem. I worked out the latest version of Google Wallet has some weird safety check that doesn't work for denylist.
I solved it by uninstalling Google Wallet and downloaded an older version from an APK website (Google 'Google Wallet' and go back a couple of versions). I'm currently using V2.189 from APKPure and it's working on my Nothing Phone 1 (Android 13).
Also, before you install the new (older version) wallet and add it to the denylist, clear the storage and cache from all Play Services Apps in your App Settings. Once you've installed the APK (might need to allow permissions), go straight into the Google Play Store, go your downloaded apps, find Google Wallet, tap on the dots in the top right hand corner and disable automatic updates. This will stop it happening again. I'd do a reboot before opening Wallet as well. Once you've done that, go into Magisk and add it to the deny list. I also use SafetyNetFix on my device. You can find that by googling it and add it to your Magisk modules.
Do a reboot and hopefully it will work for you
