[Q]Screen lags when lower part of screen is touched

UPDATE: I was preparing my phone to be send back in for RMA, but after flashing the stock RUU Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.2 the lower half works like it should. WTF!
Can someone please enlighten me.
UPDATE 2: So after I flashed the original RUU and struggled a bit to get custom recovery back, I flashed RCMixHD 0.15 again and now nothing. Screen runs perfectly smooth. Same settings as before, more or less same apps. Maybe it was a rogue app or something, I don't know.
I have a very wierd problem on my Desire.
It is running the v0.15 A2SD+ of RCMixHD.
The lower part of the screen is lagging like hell when I'm touching it.
On the home screen: If I swipe left and right using the top half of the screen, it runs smooth as expected.
If I swipe on the lower half of the screen, it lags as if it can't update correctly or something. I have added a video of what it looks like.

It is easiest to see when I move my finger very slow across the lower half of the screen vs. the top.
Here is a screenshot where you can see that the "resolution" of the touch on the lower half is much lower.

Not sure if I'm being helpful but I tried on CM 7 with ADW launcher and it doesn't do that for me.
Uniform scrolling speed regardless of which part.
Mine is laggy at first split sec of sliding though. There's a sec of it sticking to the side before responding :S

sorry to bring up an oldish thread if you have solved it, but that is to do with software keyboards, used to get it on my hero all the time.
oh wait, did you try just rebooting the device? i know it seems silly but this usually happens when you switch from htc ime mod and a reboot fixes it.

is that part I took a picture of damaged??
Replaced my sons note 2 screen everything went smooth. New screen is on, and now it acts very weird and strange... He played with the phone for about 2 months with a broken screen and never had a touch problem. So i know its not the touch digitizer
Symptoms
I notice bottom right hand side doesn't work as good as the rest of the screen. Typing a message and if you try and hit search or delete button in that area sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
and when it doesn't work, sometimes it like activates the rest of the screen not working as well. either.
I also notice on the home page sliding thru pages it works fine, but the second you go to play a game the touch wont work. its like a hit and mess but it does it often to be very annoying to my son. When you turn the screen of or hit the homepage, the touch will work again for a short while.
Like in one of his games, the jump botton, you can press 10 times and it will work but then all the sudden it wont work for the next 5 presses. Its kind of strange.
So my question is what went wrong or is it possible you can buy a defective screen?? I didn't take the phone apart at all to replace the screen i left it together and just took the screen off and put the new one on. I cleaned it pretty good as well. I never messed with the motherboard so i couldnt imagine damaging the touch cable at all. I only worked with the front of the phone.
What are my options at this point to solve this problem any help is appreciated thank you.,

[Q] Top part of the screen brightness issue

Hello everyone. I'm new here
I'm a new user of the LG G4. Quite happy with it right now. But I have a problem that I'm not sure if it's an issue or not.
On the top side of the screen (notification bar) I see a brighter light on the top that diffuse down (I don't know how to explain it)
I tried to take photos of it, but it doesn't appreciate too much. (I tried editing the contrast in the first one to make it more visible)

Lol. This is by design.

That could be screen bleed where the LCD isn't bonded properly and allows addition light in from the backlight. I would compare with other G4s and get it replaced if needed.
If they give you crap about returning it just tell them the headphone port is randomly staticy.

Try to test it with full black baground with dead pixel test app from play store and on dark room.
Before try this go to settings and do the navigation buttons invisible to dead pixel app to test all screen. If you see very much light bleed then you must go to replace it. If you no then keep your phone and n'joy because you can say it normally. Many ips screens had this bleed.
If you don't want this your only way is Amoled.

Thanks for all your answers. I wasn't sure if that was normal, because I come from a S4 with Amoled and didn't have this issue. But for what I'm reading, it is normal. I think I would try to find other G4 and see if that happens too.

Funny thing is last night i noticed the exact same thing when i realised all the icons on the notification bar had burnt into my screen up there too which got me worried, maybe its all LG G4's maybe just ours but im not happy at all

Digitizer, different REV?

G3 put on subwoofer, falls down, gorilla glass screen cracked. Full working but cracked. So, new display+digitizer+frame, all already attached to itself.

Are you looking? The above is my old screen and the circuit of digitizer is the same as on pictures from link above. The bottom screen is the new one that came to me from China. Do you see difference?
Well... Though I like new things... Screen worked. I noticed an input lag, when I was fast typing on keyboard. When I typed a word really fast, the lag occurred and then a the word was fast written. Not important.
But after a few hours (like 16) digitizer stopped working at all. From its own. I just pulled the phone out of my pocket and couldn't unlock the screen. Touch was gone.

No it isn't. I tried my old cracked screen and everything works there.
Question:
Do you think it was just a false component on circuit? It happened with this new (I just think it's newer) circuit, but also could happen on an old one. I just was unlucky.
Or is this new digitizer designed for some new versions of G3 phones? Mine has approximately 3 years.
When I'm gonna buy a new screen, should I be looking for digitizer as on my old screen? Is it even possible to buy them?

What may be the problem if display is working but touch isn't?

Yesterday randomly my Op3's touch screen stopped working.
From the last one year or so, there is a little gap between the mobile's display and the actual device because of the display glue coming off but nothing major happened with the phone in 1-2 days that can result in t's touch not working. I would have gone to the OnePlus service center but it is currently closed due to lockdown.
Does anyone have any idea if this means my display panel is dead or some display cable got loose which resulted in touch not working (or anything else)? I am attaching two pictures of the phone to show you guys about the display gap I am talking about.
Note: The display works perfectly and the phone works perfectly too if I connect it to my laptop and remote use it by USB debugging. Also, the touch screen problem is not caused by an app as the touch screen is also not working in the recovery mode (TWRP). Any help will be appreciated.

Screen and touch, display assembly is connected with only one cable on our device(navi buttons and fingerprint scanner are different). So if touch broken, probably it won't be able to repair. They will replace the entire screen.

Seems this thing happen to many people, i got it loosen in the same area as yours
They use double side tape which soften overtime+removing the phone from the case break it
Though my tc is fine because when i notice it i immediately glue it with standard tc glue instead using double side tape (much simpler, without opening the phone)
