Make sure your Sim card is inserted correctly and try turning airplane mode on and off. Hope this helps.

Hello just wanted to thank express your rom is very stable but has a minimum of errors such music has a bug when I give a click on it if you play the song goes but I also MUSIC STOPPED
on the other hand also in the section settings and notifications tones had a bug (RINGTONES) but replacing solve secMediaProvider.apk taking root explorer AIOS MOD V2 base B1 solved
the watch works well only with 3 restarts and I was under
the only error (bug) that there is nothing else in music

Yes. The V2 B3 has the same bug with the music player fc, but I used kokobenjamin's white version and it works perfectly.

if the music player (white) works perfectly well if I'm glad to have been of help

Plz Dont quote OP its against xda rules Regarding issue m sorry but i cant support issues with 3rd parts apps has may be they are not yet optimized for lollipop completly

I did everything as mentioned but no luck... I flashed back to cm12, works fine... help please

-Clean wipe cache
-wipe Dalvik cache
-complete wipe (reset the phone)
-Install the ROM
-install the Gapps
thats it you are done.
The Rom has many features than cm12

this is about ur ROM .
I have just gone through ur rom.its amazing n smooth too.I love ur ROM but can u please built ur next build with dual sim enable please...and sir when we enable navigation bar the settings gets crashed. N these kind of bugs i have faced when i was doing customization u have provided in the build and I have done the same as u have told to do for the installation. Fully wiped.

Lollipop is new, we are lucky to have even 1 rom for our grand.
So stop asking for features since they will be added as time passes by. Performance will also increase in due time.

I meant we are lucky to have lollipop roms, be it one or many.
Our lollipop are built from source. Our devs don't add features of their own. When the source is updated, our ROMs will be updated. So you can estimate yourself when the next build will be available.

Gallery Get's crashed and does not let upload pictures from any application

The gallery app is getting crashed as soon as i open the app and while browsing pictures it says "unfortunately android.process.media has stopped" and force me to FC or it hangs. it has the same problem with even google+ photo gallery app too.
it is also not showing pictures. (screenshot attached).
if iam using any other galley application it works fine.
i have attached the logcat and also screenshots showing the problem. please help.
its same with after the 1.3 update too and now google play services are crashing and sync error problems have started..

Dirty flashed DU build from 1/10/2015 over the build from 1/8/2015 and had to reconfigure everything.

screen goes black when you make a phone call???? can i fix this??

Having issues with my Bluetooth earphones
Some times they connect other tines they don't
They will say they r connected but when I play music it plays out the speaker on the phone
That's really only the issue I have with this ROM

I'm sorry, but I don't have the same issues with my headset. Did you do a clean flash? Are you sure the headset works properly on other ROMs? Maybe it was a bad flash and you should try flashing again to see if it'd fix it.

That's the proximity sensor and that's what it's meant to do. I don't believe there's anything to be fixed.

Love the ROM. I just encountered an issue. Basically everytime i reboot and press the home button the screen goes black. the status bar and nav bar are still rendered but they dont work. I can also open the power menu. Any body know what im dealing with? or better yet how to fix it?

I have not personally had an issue such as that. I would tend to recommend to re-flash the ROM verifying that the checksum is correct and that everything is wiped. If that doesn't correct it, I'd look into trying a different launcher, or even a different theme. If none of that helps, I don't know what to tell you... Hopefully someone else will have better advice for you.

Been an user of your older ROM that I used to like by the time and then, Ive found this one that's been running great so far!
I wanted to point out an issue that I am using heavily on a daily basis (like 6-7h straight without interruption)
On a call with my earphone on, the sound comes out poorly to my ears, same goes for my voice to the other end.
But keep on the great work, I really appreciate it

I haven't noticed any similar issues on my own phone, so hopefully someone else may have a better suggestion than I could give. I would suggest, if you haven't tried already, rebooting your phone to see if it clears it up. If not, you may want to try to do another clean flash after verifying the checksum of the download, just to make sure it wasn't a bad flash. If neither of these works to solve your problem, I'm not sure what else to suggest. Like I said above, hopefully someone else has faced this issue and has a suggestion to better help you. Good luck!

Unfortunately, both method have already been tried out before I was typing my first post here. FYI Ive even tried the SoundHUD app to see if it could solve anything out but still, the issue remains.
Ill keep searching then!

Why do you need to do that? I used the latest TWRP and it flashed fine!

Everytime i try and Install a rom through CWM, it keeps telling me i have a T03G Model, But i 110% know i have a I317M (koodo variant) to be specific.
Somehow i flashed it on there somehow.. but cannot get it back to Stock (even odin spits out fails when using the koodo update file)

Voicemail Password
I just installed the most current rom you have available. I have used other roms and this is the second one I have had a problem with and not sure if there is a fix or what I need to do. Other roms worked fine but when I retrieve my voicemail I always get wrong password and I know its correct. I was reading an article that it may be possible related to the DTMF tones maybe not long enough I am not sure. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you

Unless it's a ROM specific issue, there is not a whole lot I can do until a patch has been merged upstream, so please understand when I am unable to correct issues that are beyond my control. Thank you.

Hi AzraelsKiss, I download the latest update of lollipop 5.1.1 uploaded by you on 20-05-2015. But when ever i try to install GAPPS it gives me code 7 error every time. Can you please explain me why is this keep happening and how I can fix this error. I got Samsung Galaxy Note 2 i317.

I'm not sure... No one else seems to be having this issue, so it could possibly be something on your end. Make sure you're using the newest version of your recovery (TWRP is recomnended) and you've done a full/clean wipe before installing the ROM and one of the GAPPS I recommended. Good luck!

Validus for G3 D852
I just installed my first rom on my LG G3 D852 and am liking it a lot. It's the Validus Lollipop rom, it's giving me an issue when I plug it into the computer... It's not showing up as a drive and therefore cannot transfer anything. I've reflashed it and the GAPPS zip but no change. Anyone have a solution?

This one is damn near perfect....just flash in recovery....it supports 4k video and android wear as well....Ive tried them all and this is my favorite...

Do you have usb debugging checked in developer settings??
just so you know as well, apps like box or drop box are the new way of doing what you're trying to do..... install box on your computer....install the app on your phone.(you get 50gb free)...add your files you want to transfer to the box sync folder on your computer.,...open the app on your phone and the files are there....lol....download them to your device....I haven't plugged my phone into my laptop for like 2 years..... way better and easier than a cable.....and then you also have access to those same files on any device you own....or other computers (by logging into your box account)
try it out....thank me when you realize how awesome it is...

can anybody direct me to a step by step guide to install custom roms. im new to roms. i want to flash validus rom for lg g3 d852. please can anybody help. i had samsung s3 before g3. it had complete guides.
i read through some topics. i just want to know that im on stock rom, do i need to unlock through bump or i can just directly flash twrp recovery and flash this rom?

Also I rooted my phone and install twrp last year..... Do i need to update twrp or anything like that? Or can I just flash with an older version of twrp?

then flash the twrp 2.8.0.0 image of twrp with flashify app from your stock ROM ...(its already bumped)..It will bump your device.

Then flash the updated twrp 2.8.3.0 for d852 in recovery...

then 'reboot recovery".don't reboot phone!...reboot recovery from twrp advanced reboot menu...then you're ready to flash lollipop roms..
Make a backup with the newly installed twrp 2.8.3.0 and then do a full wipe ...(everything except internal storage and ext sdcard)
then flash rom
flash gapps
reboot and enjoy...

Just flash it and try it...its very close to the same as stock...and even has 4k video and android wear support
You need twrp 2.8.3.0 or higher for lollipop roms....I use 2.8.3.0

no idea....i was told it has 4k video....I don't ever record video with my phone so not sure....go back to stock if you need that....

Hmm what browser you using? I just downloaded using Chrome on OSX and no issues at all....

You activate 4k video recording by swiping right from the main camera screen, and then hitting the little video camera icon...

IR Blaster App recommendation
Hi I'm currently running the latest test build on my rogers D852 and I've noticed that in the threads the IR blaster is working. I've installed a few IR Blaster apps and none of them seem to work so are there any recommendations on working apps? Aside from that, thank you so much for all the hard work, I've been following Validus since the early test builds towards the end of December 2014 and its great to see this device getting support for custom roms etc..

probably best to quote whoever said its working and ask them....I still haven't tried it, and never use it....

Ring volume not working
Hi There, I just installed the ROM but for some reason my Ring Volume icon is not highlighted and ring is not working at all, I tired to select ring tones but non of them work, any ideas?

Reboot? I have no idea? I haven't had that issue here at all....nor has anyone else. Try a full wipe and clean flash if all else fails.

Xposed Framework
Was anybody able to get Xposed to work successfully on this ROM with the D852? Clean install

Do you developer for Oppo N1? I have feedback. Only 1 question, i can't move apps to sd card, it says not enough space, but o have 3+ gb on sd card. Any idea?

ATM we do not have a specific dev for the n1. So we work off a feedback there. Apps --> SD should be possible (may need a 3rd party app). But if you recommend a specific github that offers it we can cherry-pick it for you.
Make sure you @MENTION me in responce. It's the only notifications that work for me on XDA.

That's the problem with partition type in Oppo. Unfortunately, there is no easy workaround. OmniROM developers were working on it, but so far we don't have unified partition. Perhaps Oppo could fix it.

oh thanks, waiting when they solve.. Very big problem to me, every day need to clear space on internal memory and delete program's. If that problem not solve - i'm downgrade to cm11

Thanks for Vanir developers! All works fine (o-touch, o-click, move to sd, etc.) in last night build from 02.17.15! The best custom rom based android L for Oppo N1 :good:

I tried the latest nightly. For some reason I am not getting any network. I get stuck at installation process where its "activating sim". Now I somehow end up getting network but only to lose it later. Is it happening with you too?

Sometime i need search network manually, but it's not critically for me, and not every day happening

Nope, i've got the exact same issue. Tried reinserting my SIM over 10 times.
Had to revert to 4.4.4 until 5.0 build has a stable network connection.

Try BlissPop's ROM until this is fixed here. Its not without its fair share of bugs and I doubt will be updated.

It starts with Chinese language but once you change the language, its pretty much same as every other ROM out there. Delete/Disable the bloat. It only takes 4-5 minutes more than flashing a normal ROM. That said, flash at your own risk

I have installed blissPOP actually, but i'm geting the same kind of issues . Not 100% of the time, but I would say about 90% of the time.
If I reboot my phone, the issue will arise again. It only seems to work correctly when I boot after I clear Dalvik, cache and android secure. I guess its an issue with my radio band?

BlissPop works fine for me. May be it is.

The ROM itself works really well, but the only issue is the mobile network just not working. It tells me a have signal, but with a (!) mark by it. Normally 4/5 bars with ! on the icon. Is it possible I missed a firmware update?
Also, after installing Vanir, it changed my phone's boot logo to a newer, smoother version of the 'Oppo, powered by android' text, to the right of the OPPO logo, there are a few pixels that are red and green. it's not a major issue, just a bit of a niggle.

Toggling aeroplane mode fixes the issue, but i don't know if this works for Vanir as well.
The ROM is labelled under 'moonlight roms', and I believe is an unofficial port to the N1.

My bad. I should have mentioned its an unofficial port. Please don't bother yourself with it. Sorry for not posting it properly.
I was asking for what can I do to help you with Vanir ROM in order for it to recognize the sim.

After using Bliss and Vanir for a while, both of them are failing to get any mobile signal to be used. The icon now constantly has a ! attached to it.
I'm going to revert to kitkat until the issue is fixed, unfortunately I can't go on without a signal.

Bluetooth Stuttering
I've been having some issues with music audio (not phone audio, as far as I've been able to tell) being streamed over bluetooth to my headset. I've tried poking around in config files but I couldn't find anything that looked particularly obvious to tweak in order to allow smoother music playback.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
