[Q] how to LG -G3 (d855) root on lollipop ?

Hi Friends,
Did anyone tried rooting LG G3 (D855) running lollipop... none of the methods are working.. please help .

A quick search would tell you there is no root possible at the moment on lollipop

Is it possible to downgrade to kk and than root ?

Hey tdevaughn can u post the link how u rooted LG G3 D855 on android 5.0... it will be great help ...

You don't. You revert to kk, root, then install a lollipop rom

me too. i tried many times & searched for it but couldn't find anything. i appreciate if developer are working on our device (LG G3 32gb "D855") running lollipop 5.0
i need to root ASAP

Someone tested to do this ->
4.4.2 Kitkat (rooted and with TWRP recovery)
Flash Lollipop rom via TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
Flash root (supersu.zip) via TWRP
Install flashify - flash Lollipop stock recovery - flash stock Lollipop bootloader.

How to install any kdz on sphinx rom

Hi i need help i am currenttly using LGOGP F240l having 5.0.1 SphinX GPRO v5c. I tried a lot using lg flash tool 2014.lg flashtool v1.5 to go back to kitkat or even lollipop using kdz but nothing work for me search the whole internet for "tot" file but nothing found. Now i need help anybody knows what to do? waiting for any response please.with bundles of thanks.

I have the same smartphone LG G3 D728 made in Korea, is a big problem, dont have google play services, and i want to put cyanogenmod but is very difficult find the ROM, please if somebody have this room, i thank you

i'am new lg g4 user and i need help to update

so friends i just bought new g g4 h811 tmobile unlocked ... and i found it running lollipop 5.1 and i cant update it because there is no software update on update centre only apps update .... so my phone is fully stock and i want to update to marshmallow .... i doesnt have any experience on lg softwares .... so please can anybody help me with all steps to update via pc...... thanx

first i want you to know that . h811 have antirollback. means if you flash a higher version you cant go back or hard bricked..
so am aware of LP 10n is V2 and so is MM20i you can flash and change from LP to MM or MM to LP only if you stay in this version LP 10n -MM 20i
now if you flash 20o MM thats V3 you cant go back to 10n or 20i.
once in MM 20o you can flash latest MM 20p wich is V3 also so in this case you can change from 20o-20p MM
now you must doenload LGUP search for it .. and decide wich version you want to be on.. and search for that version KDZ.
install drivers i think you can find it on LGUP thread. install LGUP , doenload the KDZ you want to use.
and follow each step.

Lg k10 F670L

Hi guys and devs im new here wanted to find out if my lg k10 F670L korean variant can be upgraded to MM or can it be upgraded to custom nougat rom i tried downloading kdz file for f670l but on lg flash tool using normal flash lg mobile support tool error contact system administrator error and i cant get through any other way to update it from lolli? Or im stuck with lolli thanks in advance

Yeah i ve tried that as well and no luck, i tried the kdz flashing method using lg up and it worked i was able to upgrade to MM. Now need to find a way to root it and see if i can could get my hands on a nougat custom rom but i think its impossible since my device/model is not listed there only the k430dsy models are. ☺

can u please tell me more about this, how did u upgraded Lg-F670L to MM, i have to upgrade mine, & after upgrading there have any errors or some troublesome things happened?. (i'm new here)
