[Q] how to LG -G3 (d855) root on lollipop ?

Hi Friends,
Did anyone tried rooting LG G3 (D855) running lollipop... none of the methods are working.. please help .

A quick search would tell you there is no root possible at the moment on lollipop

Is it possible to downgrade to kk and than root ?

You don't. You revert to kk, root, then install a lollipop rom

me too. i tried many times & searched for it but couldn't find anything. i appreciate if developer are working on our device (LG G3 32gb "D855") running lollipop 5.0
i need to root ASAP

Someone tested to do this ->
4.4.2 Kitkat (rooted and with TWRP recovery)
Flash Lollipop rom via TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
Flash root (supersu.zip) via TWRP
Install flashify - flash Lollipop stock recovery - flash stock Lollipop bootloader.

Only Roms developed for the phone model is best practice otherwise bricking your phone is a real possibility

You should stick to roms made specifically for your device. It is very likely you will brick you're device if you flash a ROM for another variant. However, some devs build roms for more than one variant. Make sure your read thoroughly the corresponding rom's thread before flashing.

Guys plz help me flash a custom roms for my phone.
Phone Model is LG GX F310LR
Rooted and have a TWRP 2.8.3.0
Stock 5.0.2 Lolipop
I almost flash the posted roms on development but i stuck at black screen after reboot. I want to get rid of all korean apps at my phone and add tweaks like other roms. Can any one help me here??

yes nougat lineage os for G3/G3s have been relased a time ago D no need to unlock bootloader
just simply install custom recovery thats all
lg G3 is MOD opend device you have got a loot of mods for it. Good idea to buy it
