Hi all, sorry if I put this in the wrong section, still a bit new to posting here.
Anyway, my Xperia Z2 has a sort of faulty headphone jack, and I was wondering if there's a sort of device that can connect to my phone via Bluetooth, and then I can connect my wired headphones to the device, instead of my Z2. I did some research, and I think this one can be used as this function, but still not sure. If anyone could verify this for me or point me in the right direction, that'd be awesome. Thanks!
Just realized I did post this in the wrong section. Could a mod please delete this? I moved it to Questions and Answers.
Actually, you did post in a right section! There are plenty of audio reviews here (I review a ton of audio equipment to help you get the best out of our smartphones!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192333). What you are looking for is something like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/accessories/review-don-scorpio-dp-h1-smart-bt-t2922800 - connect your wired headphones and you will get wireless performance equivalent to wired

Hi,
searching for this topic in Android forums or on XDA brings this questions up a lot of times, but no answers at all.
My last chance is some device specific solution. Maybe it needs a rooted device and/or native code? Since I have no experience with this stuff at all, this would cost me a lot of learning. Can anyone tell me, if there is a chance to reach the goal in this direction, which would rectify this invest?
thanks a lot

I don't know if there is a way to reduce the noise in the headphones. Supercurio also gave up on this. I don't see an other way to fix this. What is your opinion on this. Do you have any suggestions.
Hi, did you buy the DAC? How can it be connected to the Galaxy S II? Im interested in this solution too!
Love to have some way to make these two sing together.
I've been searching around for answers to this...
From what I can gather, there are some drivers required to allow the FiiO to connect to the USB interface on the SGS2 and accept digital (i2s) out.
However, I think FiiO, Samsung are kicking the ball back and forth on this one...no takers on the development costs to make these guys sing together.
I sent an email to FiiO support today trying to fish some answers out of them about this.
You'd thing the SGS2 market would be attractive to them...like it might be worth their time to make it work.
Perversely, I've also heard that ICS will (magically?) allow USB digital audio host mode to work with external DACs. -I'd reference the XDA link where I read this, but there was nothing more than speculation so not much is missed by failing to post that link, I'm afraid.
I'm feeling a bit impatient and sad... One of the key reasons I bought my Android was to play flac. -However, the DAC implementation is so poor on the SGS2 that it makes that capability a moot point.
Sure would be nice if we had a way out of the woods on this one...that doesn't involve buying a dedicated source like a la Cowon.

If I find anything useful out, I'll report back here. I hope you find success!
Only thing I can think of is mass email requests to FiiO asking if they're planning anything to make the E7 and SGS2 sing together.

My typing was painfully teh suck in that post. I hope it still makes sense. Sorry.
i started a thread titled Audio chip/beats asking about beats/quality and got the info i wanted. someone else started another thread about the "DAC" which is the same thing. i mentioned my thread, but nobody closed that one, so it must be ok to post another thread. i need to know what is in this phone. the Galaxy S II had Yamaha and it was terrible. forgetting Beats Audio, what is in this phone, and is it good? feel free to flame. all i want is my answer in my own thread. thanks!
i haven't bought mine yet and can't until the end of the month, but if this has Yamaha or something worse/equal, then i'm willing to go another few weeks to see what the Galaxy S III has.
Hey guys!
This is my first post, and I hope that it is in the right section of the forum.
I got my X8 from my brother, who threw it on the road (drunk). Since then, the speaker has issues, it has some kind of "crunchy/static" sound when I talk to people, when they say specific words/sounds. The loudspeaker/ringer is working fine.
I want to get a spare speaker, but I can't find one on the internet, only loudspeakers and all the other parts. Any ideas?
Any answer will be much appreciated
Is this : http://www.techgsm.com/Earpiece_Sony_Ericsson_XPERIA_X8_E15i_Original_,118334.html what are your searching for?
I guess, I haven't tried with "earpiece". Thank you very much!
Just ordered it on ebay, you can close the topic, thank you dimitri!
Anytime mate , this community here is to help each other.Good luck!
Is this portable from the z3 compact?
I have looked everywhere for an answer and even asked on the cross development thread "project sonico-audiomod" but nobody wants to give me an answer.
On that thread he even has it listed in the features "fixed usb dac not working well" which makes me think its been ported but i flashed the mod and theres nothing.
Can ANYONE out there shed some light on this please?
