Let's say we have "Device" forums
there is also "Verizon Device" and "at&t device".
The forums of the Verizon and at&t device should be subforums in the "Device" forums.
@X3RATH, instead of making new threads, please post your recommendations in this thread dedicated to that purpose.
Sorry.

I notice that the device-specific forums often have a "mobile 6" subforum. My device is a T-Mobile Wing, so I see a "Herald" subforum and a "Herald Mobile 6" subforum. What does "Mobile 6" refer to? If it refers to Windows Mobile 6, I thought all Heralds/Wings were WM6+ devices?
Just trying to understand what the two subforums are for. Searched for an explanation but had no luck.

Yes they're Win Mo 6 forums. IIRC (maybe have to ask an older mod, I joined with a Wizard, and didn't start posting til I had my Kaiser), the Herald was a WM5 device, so WM6 forums were added to support it's development on it.
The forums may seem obsolete now, but they were probably required in their day. And removing forums is always hard work .

Thanks, Dave. People continue to post all kinds of topics in both subforums, so I'll have to keep an eye on both. Just a minor annoyance.
Hi Everyone,
Now that we have three variants of the Galaxy Nexus (with the a fourth one coming once AT&T's version is out), I'd like to just make a suggestion that maybe we start labeling posts that are specific to one model as such. Perhaps using the model number, or the carrier...for instance:
[L700] Thread Title for Sprint
[I515] Thread Title for Verizon
[I9250] Thead Title for GSM
or
[SPRINT] Thread Title for Sprint
[VERIZON] Thread Title for Verizon
[GSM] Thread Title for GSM
I just think that going forward, it would make it a lot easier to sort through posts at a glance to find what you're interested in or what's relevant to what you're looking for.
Just a thought.
Not trying to rant, but just a suggestion. I've gone through plenty of devices and while I do not post much, I do read and lurk a lot to check out what new accessories are coming out for each device. One thing that gets increasingly annoying is seeing threads titled like, "OMG BEST CASE EVAR FOR YOUR X" and "LAST X YOU WILL EVER NEED!!!!"
Again, just a suggestion, but could we standardize these thread titles with something like, "Company name, item name/model number, origin (if found only in US/UK/Asia/etc), price"
As it is now, many of these accessory forums have multiple threads for the same item, titles where you have no idea what it is about until you click, and a lot of unnecessary opinion threads like, "is this the best X for my X?"
Just a thought. Anyone else?
Hope this was OK to post.
I simply don't know where to put this so I'm posting it here.
I wanted to suggest that since i know we probably cant make a new section in the forum for each Nex-Tech Wireless phone (small Kansas carrier)
if we could just get one Nex-Tech general forum so people from the same carrier can all try and help each other out?
if im in the wrong section feel free to move me
Thanks,
Oman14
Bump!!
Would love to have a forum of some type for Nex-tech Wireless. If it makes any difference maybe a Subform of the Samsung Galaxy S 3 for the SCH-R530X (version used on a lot of smaller generic regional carriers) like the USCC s3 forum or even just a general "Other S3 models" would be nice!

Thanks.
I want to ask a general question about devices on Verizon (basically, what is a shortlist of good boot-unlockable devices that work on VZW), but I cannot find any sort of general Verizon forum sections, just a bunch of device-specific sections.
Can someone suggest where I should post this?
TIA
