[Q] Best Video Quality?

Which is better between the following two:
YouTube (HD, 10m)
or
YouTube (High, 10m)
Also explain so I can get a better understanding what the differences are.
Thank you
I was curious too so I took some footage, trying to capture the same footage every time (about 15-16 seconds each). Here are my results:
HD 1280x720, ~6000 kbps video, 17 fps, 95 kbps audio, 11.8 MB
High 720x480, ~3000 kbps video, 18 fps, 96 kbps audio, 6.05 MB
YouTube HD 1280x720, ~6000 kbps video, 18 fps, 101 kbps audio, 11.1 MB
YouTube High 720x480, ~3000 kbps video, 17 fps, 98 kbps audio, 6.12 MB
So it looks like high is 480p res and HD is 720p res, as expected. What I don't understand is why there are YouTube and non-YouTube versions of essentially the same thing. I watched each file back to back and couldn't find any noticeable difference in quality between YouTube and non-YouTube versions.

[Q] Xperia S - Heats and lags, sometimes pauses games

Hi guys!
I got my SXS on 24 December and i try to play games (etc. Dead Space NFS Most Wanted) but my phone gets a bit hot (not very, but its a bit uncomfortable for my hands) but the bigger problem is: it drops the CPU clocks to 805 (?) MHz and its make games unplayable. All stock on my phone and I try to play nonpirate games. The worst is, sometimes the games pause automatically.
The phone do that too when I start playing. (So thats isn't hot and still lags, and pauses...)
Any suggestions?
only pauses, lags, and heats? man you are lucky..
my xperia ion is nowhere better. after 1st time playing dead space, it doesn't get hot or get lags. it simply rage quit and not letting me play every time i start the game.. all stock no pirate as well.
btw, xperia ion will be my last android phone, yes, no more android, but still other sony devices. i so hate the way android works, even though you can really enjoy the customization and apps integration, but seriously nothing else. i have lost all the faith on android and sony mobile. i don't wanna struggle just to get something i want to work. i want something reliable, and that's definitely not android.

Reboot your phone will no longer lag during heavy game! Before if u reach 53 degree u'll lose performance. Now It will not clocked down until 63 Degree.
Thank me, if I deserved it.

Also, check you're on the latest firmware

Best kernel for D851 Fulmics 6.1! Your opinion!

If u are using the fulmics 6.1 which is your best kernel so far for this rom???
Is it better than fulmics stock kernel??
Pros and Cons???
Solid Kernel is really smooth (you will see a significant difference overall and in antutu 3d section). If you leave the settings as is, however, it will drain the battery quickly and you will get around 3 hours sot with moderate usage(throughout a day). I use the following kernel aduitor settings and they make a difference without compromising too much in my experience.
!(Backup system partition in twrp before modifying anything)!
Assertive display: On if mostly indoors, off if mostly outdoors
Cpu: Max freq.=2457 Min freq.=300 Input boost=1497
Hotplug: Idle freq.=1574 MinCpuOnline=2 Multicore power savings=enabled (aggressive causes heating)
Cpu Voltage: (undervolt) -100mv for lowest 3 freqs, -50mv for highest 3, -75mv for all between those
Thermal: Set limit for 70 degree celcius
Gpu: governor= msm adreno tz, Gpumin=200, adreno idler on, idlewait=3, set all other sliders in the middle for other idler settings. (Adjust few steps based on your experience) also you can use 300mhz gpu min freq for buttery smooth performance.
!All those are based on personal experience so it is possible that this condiguration may not work for you!

overheating when gaming

a50 become pretty warm when i play pubg (smooth extreme fps) in antutu temperature of cpu rises to 65 degree only after 5 min of gaming . i am confused because a50 is based on 10 nm architecture doesnt suppose to overheat that's confirmed by many gaming comparisons in youtube between a50 ,a70 ,p30lite ,redmi note 7 pro
does anybody has the same problem?
