Hello everyone. I am new rom 3.0 and I really like EMUI 3.0 . But there is one problem here: my phone when battery low alarm, it quickly dropped to 0% and power off after a few seconds. I only have a problem when using EMUI 3.0 b709 B708 - problems previously with 2.0 rom not available, the device indicates a low battery after charging plug is operating normally. So how can I solve this problem?
Sorry I did not know English - I use google translate.

Likewise with me. My battery still dies, even when I plug in the charger at 8%, on B708. Not sure how to fix it, but hopefully it will be fixed with the next update from huawei.

Hey you! I have solved the problem DC - you can try it. The steps I resolved as follows:
1. My phone has root. Note the red phone battery, then delete the file using File Explorer File /data/system/batterystats.bin (red battery icon when new deleted - if you are not root can try to skip this step).
2. When the device indicates a low battery will turn off within 30 seconds - let's quickly plug the battery charger. To shut the phone off - and then automatically into charging mode when turned off. If you see the battery starts charging from 0% is ok.
3. Leave the so wait until the battery is full, the battery indicator light turns off. Keep the charger cord - turn the phone on and then unplug the charger is.
END.
My phone will not power suddenly collapsed again. Good luck

I installed the DK custom rom yesterday and today i reset the battery indicator.
# Power off the phone and fully charge it until the led is green.
# Turn the phone on for a couple of minutes until the battery indicator drops from 100% to 99%.
# Power off the phone again and charge it again while watching. As soon as the led turns green proceed to the next step.
# Unplug the charger, boot the phone into Recovery mode and reset (or wipe) the battery stats (on advanced menu in ClockWorkMod).
# Reboot and continue to use as normal.
Ok, now however the battery indicator says me always 100% of battery life!!!
And this is not good at all. What i should do?
how long have you left it? mine can stay at 100% for quite a while before dropping, but after that it drops rather faster
Problem still there? Tested it and have no issues here

Its a Clockworkmod bug, and, there's no workaround. Actually, when charging the phone in the off state, it wouldn't turn on, and the battery had to be removed, but, the workaround to this was to turn on using Power Key + Vol Down.
how can we recalibrate the battery with the clockwork mod bug?

Okay I will try this, nut what about app Battery Calibration, does it work ?
Don't use an app because it is software based, but the guide i've posted is hardware based!
Ok thanks for the information !

1. While in Android, charge up to 100% and leave the phone plugged in.
it dosen't charge up to 100% to use this method
In this case 100% are the maximum you can reach. You can check the exact battery status in system settings!

1. Sorry, haven't thought about that. Yes, it has to be rooted.
2. If your phone is rooted you can find it with root explorer.
3. Yes, for rooting your phone needs to be S-OFF
Maybe you can use that one - found it in another topic:
1. Power on your phone then connect to your Charger and Fully charge until the LED changes Green.
2. Disconnect your phone from the charger and then power off.
3. Reconnect your phone to your charger with the power off and wait for the green LED.
4. Disconnect the phone from the charger and power it on.
5. Once the phone has fully booted / ready to use ... power off again.
6. With the power off connect the phone to the charger and wait for the green LED.
7. Disconnect from the Charger then power on and use normally.
Needs no root, but I haven't tried that yet. Most of the users said that it worked, but keep in mind that battery calibration can always damage your battery.
My battery never charge up to 100% last time i saw green light from fulfully charged phone was last year. I can charge it for 48 hours turned of it still wont be green
Which status is shown in phone->status->battery status?

Quite annoying feature - the screen turns on and stays on while phone is charging. Sometimes it does sometimes it does not.
The way to fix it is to take the battery out and reinsert it.
Since the power supply runs red hot in this strange mode I'd find it quite annoying in $700 plus tax phone.
Yes "stay awake" is unchecked and everything is original (no ROM reflashing) and such.

TWEAKED 2.0 NOTE 3
Do you have any xposed tweaks installed? Some of them, like wanam have those options.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Wanam Exposed has an option under lockscreen to keep the screen from turning on when you unplug the device. Don't know if that might fix the problem you are having.
Had similar issue after failed attempt remove boot animation by deleting /system/media/bootsamsung.qmg
He running stock no root
TWEAKED 2.0 NOTE 3
No add-ons or roots.
Noted today that the screen comes on and stays on only when the battery charges up to about 50%.
Reboot does not help, only unplugging the battery, otherwise the power supply might melt down...
Turned out to be faulty power supply.
Screen lights on for me when charging phone too, I always just press the power on/off to turn it back off while charging. Is yours turning back on even after a manual screen off or maybe it's
lighting back up because of some notifications?

Guys,
I've updated my SmartWatch 3 to 5.1 yesterday via OTA
Everything worked fine.
When battery was low, I charged it up from 9% to around 80% (I switched it off though)
It stuck charging at 80% as it was very hot I removed it from charge.
After 2-3 hours I charged again to complete from 80% to 100% even after 1-2 hours of charge It would not charge.
Today morning I did the same I wouldn't charge. I switched on the watch I got android wear logo and it directly switched off.
Now it's not switching on.
Any help I can get?
Yeah same issue here but it is harder than that ...
I installed TWRP on my watch, and when I received the 5.1 OTA, it seems that it did not want to install the update because I was not on recovery stock. Then, my SW3 started to lag, I was not able to install the ZIP via TWRP, and it was superhot, I was unable to boot Android Wear..
That's so ****ed up, man. I can't even know what should I do. xD
I've got the same (or really similar) problem my watch was out of battery, I put it on the charger, it showed normal charging battery icon, then when I tried to turn it on it doesn't show anything, the display is black and when I held down the power button it vibrated once. The problem is that it isn't only display fault because I can't connect to the watch with my mobile phone. Wat do?

edit: Well that was weird, I unplugged it from the charger and put it there again and now the charging icon is back and when I pressed the button it started to boot. Weird.
Me, too.
After OTA today, my watch is dead. Even long press power button can make freeze screen reboot.

Okay guys, here my solution, it worked for me :
If the screen of your SW3 is completly dark:
1) Just let it plug. In fact, the watch is charging, it's just not shown up (I dunno why...)
2) Let it like that for 1 hour, and then unplug it and let it cool down for 10 mn.
3) Install the Sony Companion App on your PC.
4) Keep ressing the power button of your watch til a screen with the watch and USB appears.
5) Plug It to your PC, open the Companion App.
6) Somewhere in the menus, you can resinstall the OS of the watch, RESET it, find the menu.
7) Let your watch restart.
And you're done ! It worked for me, so try.
I left it aside from morning to evening. Didn't even touched it. It completely discharged. So I kept to charge once again and it magically booted up and now working fine. Seems pretty weird. ?

As I read in other post, I can confirm there is some kind of bug when you are charging your SW3, if you turn it on with the usb cable charging and the screen showing the battery %, the smartwatch gets like frozen and doesn't do anything.. In case you have this problem, you should wait until the battery goes to 0%, start charging your sw3 BUT when you are going to turn it on again first unplug the usb cable and wait until the battery % display dissapears.. I did it after I read it in other post in XDA (I don't have the link here.. I was searchig for it on another computer) and worked for me.
I hope it works for all.. sorry if my English it's not perfect hehe
I found the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch-3/help/smw3-wont-start-t3192354

Try recalibrating battery by holding power+vol up+ vol down for a minute or so.
Your data should be retained when doing this. But back up your data, just in case; as any data that is important to you should always be backed up, anyway.
