No one is allowed to ask for best roms kernels bla bla and nor any1 is allowed to answer these questions...please read xda rules....you can check differnet threads...ask any1 via pm ...or else try different roms and kernel combination and choose the one which suits u the best!:fingers-crossed:
There no best. Each rom will work differently for each and every user. So try them out and make up your own mind. If you don't find one that works for you then make your own.

1. No. Not unless the dev specifies that it does.
2. No, there are AOSP/AOKP kernels and kernels specific to Touchwiz
3. Yes, custom kernels can up performance. That, and better battery life are usually the intent.
4. A combination of both, although custom kernels give the user more control over the matter than custom ROMS.
Kernal List?
Thanks for the reply!
Is there a thread with a list of AOKP kernals?
Cheers.

Not specifically that i'm aware of.. Best thing to do is look on the Kernel's OP, Should say if it works on AOKP (Which i believe most will)

Moderators frown on questions like this, and rightfully so. The best suggestion is to check the ROM forum. You might as well ask what the best cut of beef is.
I recommend installing multirom so you can install many ROMs at the same time. Then you can try all the ROMs you want and see which you like the most

More to the point - this question is all but impossible to answer, simply because it is so subjective. What is the best for one person (rock solid stability, but no features) is not the best for another. Your only recourse, as suggested, is to read through some of the popular threads to get a handle on what is available, then go from there.

hi,perhaps here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707431
What @dabenaute @Amit77 suggested you is the latest 4.4.2 Touchwiz leak for our note 2, i've been using that as well and apart from few bugs that is noticed the ROM is great. To answer your long battery life question, that is only possible when using custom kernels like devil or agni where you can undervolt your phone and other fancy stuff.Since 4.4.2 is a leak there is no kernel source code so there are no custom kernels available yet for the developers of custom kernel to make it compatible with 4.4.2 TW. So what you can do is try a 4.3 TW ROM and get a custom kernel and do the tweaks which will be enable longer battery life. It's hard to tell you which 4.3 TW rom would offer you best battery life cause everyone's usage is different so you got to test 2-3 ROM's on xda and see which suits your need.Initially after flashing a ROM try it for 1-2 days to test battery life and then try a custom kernel test that for 1-2 days and then move to another ROM and repeat the same steps that way you know which ROM and which custom kernel works best on Note 2.
Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion, and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.

Thread closed,
ROM comparison threads are against forum rules. Best thing to do is to try different Roms for yourself.

I just bought the phone and I'm on MIUI 13.0.6 and I get about 5 hours of screen time at 120hz, I wanted to know which of all the ROMs for the Poco F3 gives the longest battery life
Hi, and welcome to the forums! I suggest using the search function, as this question was discussed multiple times before.
In my experience if you're like me and want wifi + bluetooth, AOD and 120Hz on 24/7, then you won't get great battery backup no matter what you do.
I've tried a few AOSP based ROMs, battery was best with ArrowOS, but CrDroid is close and has more features, so that's what I use. Balaam kernel got me best results, but infiniR (comes packaged with CrDroid) is also good and gets more updates.
To answer your question of which ROM is best - the ultimate winner will always be a debloated stock MIUI ROM. So I would stay with rooted stock, look into debloating and underclocking with custom kernel manager. I recommend Franco Kernel manager for that + it helps you track your battery drain stats.
