This problem started after 2 weeks of purchasing the device.
The photos taken by the camera were not being saved in the sd card. After restarting the phone it worked fine but the problem occurs still after every few days and sometimes few minutes ?
I cannot download photos or videos from whatsapp and even see stickers on hike during this problem.
I also noticed an interesting thing... I had some apps saved in the sd card and when i faced problems as mentioned , i tried to open "app settings" and everytime it would "unfortunately stop working" .... Later after restarting the phone when everything was fine, i moved those apps to phone, and when the problem occured again i tried to open "app settings" and now it opened and functioned properly every time .
Also one time the music was not playing . it said " not found on the device".
I can't make head or tail of this business... If anyone knows what is happening then please tell me...
Please tell me if u have faced this problem too and how did u manage to solve this ???

P.S. - I have not tried a different sd card because i dont know what is causing this problem.

Is a known uncommon issue, PecanCM, the developer, is looking into it.. Check the last 3 pages from the thread and you'll see...

In Settings → About the phone → Build number → Press seven times the "You are now developer"
Settings → Developer Options → USB Debugging [check]

Yes i have same problem, just follow the cm10.1 thread and wait for the test build. From my calculation it should come out tomorrow.

that test build isn't for sd,
I had this problem too. But only with a 4gb SanDisk sd card. I took my tablet's 2gb Kingston sd card and it worked. Then i took my camera's 4gb Kingston sd card and it also worked. Maybe the problem is only with SanDisk sd cards?
I have an 8 GB Sandisk Ultra and never had that problem on any previous release of CM10.1

I know what this mean, but the only installed things are some games ( 2 ) and the message is staying there from one week. The available system memory is only 32 mb free. But almost nothing is installed and all pictures and music and etc. are in the SD card. In the device memory there is almost nothing and I can't delete a single thing.. So do you guys know what sort of problem is this and how can I solve it ? I will be grateful if you can help me. Btw the device it's not rooted and it's fully STOCK ! I can't root it. It's not mine you know.. So.. someone .. :angel: I looked other threads like this but didn't find the salution.. not even on stock device

the easiest way dealing with it is using "link2sd"
a more complicated but better way ul find here
I am new to XDA, I am using Samsung Grand and using this awesome Rom named Gennxt Superior. Its an awesome Rom with no problems at all. No lags nothing. Battery life also improved .. For this a big thanks to the developer of Gennxt Rom. I just want to ask about some things ..
1. I cant move files from internal storage to external card. Is their any way that I can move files and apps to External memory.
2. Can I get the Grand version of My Files back. How ?

I also got some kind of problem once while installing this Rom. I was really very confused, but then I thought to replace the Rom that was in my External Sd Card. So I again copied the original Gennxt Rom to Card replacing the previous file that was in it. Boom .. Problem got solved and in next 3 Minutes the Rom got installed in my Grand.
I can assure you the if you follow the steps provided by developer properly and in sequence then you will not face any problem at all. I am using this Rom since last 15 Days. Till date no problem, no lags, no restarts.. no problems at all. Just the things that I mentioned in this thread are which I am facing as small problems.
Nothing Else..

first check whether the memory card is working in another phone.... if it is working on another phone then it is the phone issue (either hardware or software, most probably software problem)...... and if the card doesnt work on another phone also then it is ur memory card thats faulty..... what rom are u using on ur nokia XL??

i m using stock rom and its working in my phone but after some time mean one hour it crashes then i have to restart my phone

Please, every time i save music ( mp3 ) and videos there still ok, but if i restart the tablet all of them gets corrupted, with a strange symbol at the beginning. ... see pictures please...
I haved change buyed 2 sd card all ready. . Class 10..but the same.
The tablet is rooted. ...
