My quick toggle buttons in the notification shade stopped responding, i can't turned on/off wifi, screen rotate, etc.
what do i need to reset to get it working again? i'd rather not factory reset if i don't have to.
thanks
edit, swiping back and forth to show more toggles still works, i just can't press on any of them

Out of nowhere today, the clear notifications button disappeared when I hold my phone in portrait mode. If I rotate into landscape mode, it appears on the far right, but when I flip back, it's not there. I briefly got it to return by switching Lefty Mode on and off, but after I use it once, it disappears again. Any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it?
I'm using LiquidSmooth RC9.
Turns out I don't even have to use the button for it to disappear. If I just rotate my phone to landscape and then back to portrait, it's gone.
I don't have that issue. that being said its only present what I have notifications to clear, not permanent ones
I was able to post about this in the development thread. Turns out it's an issue with having AM/PM turned on for the clock. It pushes the notifications button off the screen sometimes.
hmm good to know, I don't have am/pm enabled, which is obviously the reason.
glad I got it sorted
Anyone else have this problem with the icon in the status bar of the talkback icon showing up in settings saying that it is on?
I check the settings and it is definitely off but the icon remains.
I've restarted the device and reset the icon by turning it on and back off, but eventually the icon finds itself back on randomly.
It's pissing me off.

Same problem here . Usually happens after a restart. Only way I get rid of it is by enabling it and disabling it again (though operating in Talkback mode is a bit of a work and takes a bit of understanding of how to operate...like using using two fingers to swipe the screen and double tap instead of a single tap to select an option. Hence I would not recommend my way of getting rid of the icon, unless you know what you are doing ).
Samsung should really come up with a fix of this annoying bug.
Happen to me as well until I uninstall all apps that use this method to push notifications.
I.e. go launcher notification plugin

Hello All,
This morning I upgraded to cm-11-20140505-Snapshot from cm-11-2014-05-04-Nightly. Upon boot into the new snapshot image my home button and notification tray stopped working. The home button registers presses, but does not take me to the home screen. The notification tray does not register any incoming notifications and the quick settings pulldown is inaccessible.
Upon noticing these issues I rebooted(no change), Wiped Cache and Dalvik(no change), flashed back to cm-11-2014-05-04-Nightly again(no change)
What can I try next to get the system working again?
Thanks,
-M.Frantz
A few days ago I unrooted my phone in order to be able to update to 4.2.2 because it would not let me while I was rooted. After i unrooted i pulled down my notification bar to find that there were only two toggles in the bar. Blocking Mode and Airplane Mode. So I went into the settings menu to see if the others were just not selected to display and once i select notification toggles it force closes the settings app. so i updated to 4.4.2 because i assumed it would fix the problem but it did not. it still only has those two toggles, the only difference is now i can go into the toggle settings without it force closing. but in the settings menu it only shows those two toggles as options. how can i get my toggles back because these are a major part of my phone usage
hi,
my G3 sometimes shutoff the data automatically, with no reason, other than me accidentally turning it off, is there knowledge that this is a bug ?
how to turn off camera quick launch in your lock screen ?
i configure my phone to be locked immediately and i need to key in the pin to use the phone but in the lock screen, if you swipe the bottom to the left, it quick launches the camera,
how to remove the camera launch ?
thanks in advance
Turning off the camera shortcut.... just go into the device settings, go across to General and tap shortcut key. All you need to do is hit the toggle in the top right.
The camera launch i'm unaware of, as when I have a code it disappears. I doubt you will be able to remove the shortcut on screen.
