So this has been going on for about 3 days. Anytime I try to play something I get an error saying "we're having trouble playing this file right now. Please try again later or select a different title." I've cleared the cache, data, and reinstalled but I'm still getting the same error. Anyone else have this and fix it or know of a way to fix it?

I have an issue with Netflix when I pause a movie in XBMC and the start Netflixx When ending the movie in XBMC, Netflix works again.
OP, are you using any DNS redirection service on the AFTV?

Hi All. I'm seeing a little bit of inconsistencies with my FireTV Box. I wonder if it is randomly dying but I hope not.
1. When I play a RTSP stream on Kodi and or the OPlayer App, the stream stops in about 10 minutes and I have to restart it.
2. When I play movies from the network, the movies stop randomly and I have to resume.
I'm on a wired connection throughout. I wonder whats the issue as I've made about 22 firetv's and the same stream is played on multiple firetv's which I've made with similar configs and those don't stop. Given that those are on different networks.
I know this is a hard one to figure but any guidance or insights would help. I'm on SPMC the latest one. All other builds of firetv's which I've made are on the nightlies of Kodi which had the resume fixed. I have tried the same Kodi nightly and that too stops the stream.
I have a cordless phone on top of the firetv. Does that matter with heat etc? I can't think of anythign else.
no one with this kind of issue? Any help would really be helpful

But I want to stream my Talk in Discord too.
But it isn't working.

recently, my Fire TV stick 4K prompts the following error message every few hours on the TV screen for a few seconds:
Error occurred. Please, send file to the support team:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.teamsmart.videomanager.tv/cache/ModernClientData
I adb-pulled the file, and it looks like a bunch of Javascript code (starting this._yttv=this._yttv||{};(function(_){var window=this;,...), not sure if it is safe to post the whole file here.
I have googled for this, no idea whatsoeve why this is happening. No error log or anything similar in this file.
Does anybody have a clue what may cause this beahviour?

I've had the exact same problem over the last week on my Fire TV Stick 4K also, and it's been driving me nuts , it was coming up on most of my streaming apps whilst streaming movie's, TV shows etc, so to begin with I thought it was a Kodi error!? I couldn't find anything online, & the problem still persisted even after numerous clean ups & reboots! I eventually tracked the error message to the storage folder it was pointing to using MiXplorer File Manager, and realised it was located in my SmarTubeNext app (no adverts YouTube mod) folder on my Fire TV Stick 4K!
Thankfully you'll find that if you open up the SmartTubeNext app now, there's an update for the app to the 14.11 version waiting for you to apply, that addresses this particular error!
And may I add, not before b****y time!

I had the same problem in this moment, while streaming on Netflix. I first thought about smarttube. Nice to hear that this will solve the problem!
I was having this same problem when watching downloaded TV shows on my Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo. Found this forum after googling error message. I've now updated YouTube app on my unit. I'm hoping I won't be seeing this message again. Thanks for the info.
