[Q] alarm home screen widget need identification please :) - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello fellow note 4 users i was watching a youtube video and saw an awesome widget with a clock, date and next alarm time. Anyone know what this is?
http://imgur.com/QHQe6tA

so i'm not sure which widget that is, but i saw nobody had responded yet. here's the app/widget i use, which does show the next alarm coming up (and has a lot of customizable options you may like also). the app is called Chronus (made by the same devs who created cLock for cyanogenmod). here's a screenshot of what it looks like on my homescreen. maybe someone else will be able to help you further.
also you may notice the alarm icon in the status bar also reflects what time the alarm is set for. that's an xposed module called DynamicAlarmIcon.

I love that xposed module! But i decided not to root this phone, dont want to to be stuck with the one tech that will check if my knox is tripped. Thanks anyways

Alarm workaround for those who removed the htc lockscreen!

Ok, so for those of us who hate the the Sense lockscreen and removed that abomination, i came up with a workaround for the alarm. This is my first time attempting to help the community, please be easy on me
So here's the situation, i removed the Sense lockscreen so i could have the vanilla android lockscreen (more useful). Two problems arised:
1. The lockscreen is transparent, and honnestly i don't mind, but i know some of us don't like it
2. The 1st alarm (i.e. when the screen is locked) cannot be dismissed, since it is tied with the Sense lockscreen, so we would have to wait for the reminder with the screen unlocked, or set the alarm one minute ahead so we can dismiss it when it goes off again...
As you can see, that's not a very convenient solution, so i thought of an alternative and it worked it's pretty straight forward as it involves removing the htc clock app and reinstalling the DeskClock.apk.
Here's what i did:
1) went in root manager and removed HtcClockWidget.apk and ClockWidget.apk
2) installed DeskClock.apk (included below)
3) restarted the phone
There you have it, the stock android clock may not be as cool as the htc one, but it gets the job done and takes care of the "1st-alarm-in-the-morning-waking-up-the-whole-house-because-it-wont-shut-up" thing!
Hope it helps!
hey - thanks for that. Same thing happened to me (woke up the whole house!) so this is great.
does the DeskClock take care of the transparent lockscreen as well?
Or just install a 3rd party alarm app from the market
I use "alarming"
Does the aosp Deskclock app have a timer function yet? Because that's yet another issue for me xD

Unfortunately no timer. The only thing i miss about the htc alarm is the way you could set the time.

It doesn't take care of the transparency, but i can live with that. I guess we have to wait until some talented dev figures out a way to fix this

[Requested App] Modified Clock App

I am on CM10 and find the Clock app to be missing a couple of things that I would be willing to pay for if someone wanted to enhance it. Basically, I want the stock Jelly Bean clock app (I think CM's is basically stock) plus the following:
* weather for current location via Google, Weather Bug, or the Weather Channel (a single one of these would work, option of provider would be great)
* charge status like on the lock screen
* album art and play controls for Play Music.
* option to not black things out when it has been idle yet still have the clock move around. I like seeing my wallpaper.
Hope this catches a dev's eye
***Mods: if this is in the wrong forum feel free to move it. Thanks.

[HELP] No Clock apps on Viper DHD 2.2.0

just realize that my viper rom doesn't have clock, i mean i doesn't have the app, that normally showed up on all apps. the clock on notification bar are showed up normaly, just the clock that have alarm, timer, stopwatch, etc inside it that doesn't exist, is anybody have some problem with me? am i doing wrong when i flashed it? great thanks for the answer
I have the same issue but im pretty sure on the selection where you select which apps to remove I selected the HTC clock or something similar.
Dont really fancy a new install for a clock though just to test, you go ahead and let me know if I was right
You could have a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644773 which is the apk for the clock (or one that looks damm close to it)

[Q] Alarm clock not supported themer zooper

Newbie here...
So I've installed themer and configured the widgets, but it doesnt matter how hard I try, I keep getting "next alarm unsupported".
I am using timely as my app, but they somehow don't synchronise?
Any suggestions?
Please see the uploaded screenshot
Thank you in advance
There have been some other reports of this in the past. It seems that this app is not currently compatible with Zooper.

Digital clock question

Is there any way to remove the date from the digital clock? I have the stock weather widget running in the top right corner, which also shows the date, so it's redundant to also have it displayed in the clock, which is right below it.
Barring that, is there a recommended digital clock widget that has the same stock font, can be sized to the 4 x 2 of the stock clock, and had the option to display no date?
There are a ton of available clock and weather apps in the Play Store that have wigets, usually with more customization options than the stock Android versions. If you do a little trial and error testing it shouldn't take you long to find what you are looking for. You can also look for general widget apps like Beautiful Widgets which usually include clock and weather widgets because they tend to be the most popular.

This might get you started but if you don't find something to your liking there are a ton more in the Play Store. It shouldn't be hard at all to find either a digital clock widget or a weather widget that doesn't also display the date. There are also a lot of clock widgets that actually display the weather as well, so if you liked something like that you could use one widget instead of two and save yourself a little battery. I used to use one like that called Fancy Widgets but it didn't have as many customization options as some other widget apps.

Thanks for the advice. I did try several digital clock widgets, but every single one included a non-removable date. The HD Widgets in your link looks like it has what I need in it though, so I'll try that one out.
Thanks again!
