I believe they got date wrong, February 3rd is the last day of the 90 days. HTC update page still says the T-Mobile m8 is in integration stage.

Flashing the Lollipop OTA for HTC One (M8) Unlocked/Developer Editions to any M8?
Is is possible to flash the new OTA zip released yesterday to any M8? I have an unlocked T-Mobile M8. I went back to 4.4.4 stock last night in preparation for the new update.
If 'yes' then has anyone seen someone post the zip anywhere?

Don't think that'll work for our phones because the mid and Cid don't match. There is a way to convert your phone to the developer edition and then the ota will work. There's a thread for it on the HTC m8 unlicked section

Android Police: HTC Posts Full 1.5GB RUU For The T-Mobile One M8 Lollipop Upgrade. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIw68rD_Bo
That's where I got it. Download an directions for people that need them best I can do at this moment.

Would the newest ota effect radio signal at all? Also, with our new 4.20 (Lulz) firmware, would this make us compatible with roms asking for the 4.17 firmware?

Hopefully it will allow "roll back" like the AT&T variant.

Strange normally updates are announced (or leaked ) I'm on the vodafone network to, but got it from a store called belcompany, and you?
Nothing for me either...
do you need to have 3G coverage? I tried enabling wifi and attempted check for system update and got nothing..I am on Voda UK with an unlocked phone..hmm
I read on another forum that the updates get staggered so not to worry if yours shows up to date. Also on another forum it says facebook bug is fixed and the data connection issues is also fixed that effected many people.
Mine updated yesterday but I had to check manually for it.
Seems to be an vodafone branded update only, on tweakers.net only people with branded phones had the update.
Got it the other day, posted a link in the generic ROMs thread if anyone wants it

I got my Desire from Vodafone. If you got yours from Belcompany, you have an unbranded Desire which means that you won't get this OTA-update. This OTA-update will only be available for Vodafone-branded Desires.

Sorry, I only read it after I posted my previous reply.
Fun to see that you live in Weert, my birth town.
I'm still not sure whether I will update my Desire ... still waiting for someone to clarify whether this update will ruin my rooting possibilities.
i installed it somedays ago. i noticed that my battery is drainning faster... but i got more free ram and memory, also the sound volume is higher!
i had to check manually for the update

so they wont allow users who opt out of a data plan and or dont have wifi to update?
RUUs are leaked and shouldn't normally be open to the public. If they were they'd be on HTCs website (like with their WinMo RUUs)
Guess you cant always trust a telus rep, they told me that the update would be downbloadable from a pc if i didnt have internet access for my desire. (ive been prodding tech support for 2 weeks now trying to get info on when the update is)
I don't see the point in posting the ROM. What would be needed in it that we don't already have or use? Plus if I wanted to do the update that would mean downgrading back to 2.1 and then upgrading.

He said he is interested in some config files, no idea what for. Can you even post just a rom from your phone? Wouldn't you need to extract it from the RUU?
The RUU would be nice though, I'd like to know what radio Telus think we should be running. Obviously it would also be good to flash the phone in a way that masks the modifications made if we need to return it.

Yeah. Good point.
Got bored, poked around. I have a feeling telus will offer the RUU on HTC.com just like other desire providers.

HTC Desire - Froyo 2.2 on Telus is here !!
I just downloaded it OTA.
It is installing as I type this.
Oh, this is so exciting !
Yossi
I got mine downloaded and installed yesterday. All is running smooth
I am on Fido and I got an update notification on my HTC Desire (I had 3G on, and Wifi off). I'm downloading the update (OTA_Bravo_Froyo_TELUS_WWE_2.25.661.2-1.29.661.1_R_release_Pf7sjzjrgcmpsve12.zip) as I'm typing this...it's a 90.5MB download...so I switched to Wifi before proceeding with download.
I'll update later how it goes.

HTC Desire-New firmware(for HTC Sense 2.0)?

I saw this by chance while browsing though the HTC.com, however I could't receive any update on my phone. new firmware 3.15.707.3. It seems to be removed from the website after i refresh.
Update: After searching though the forum it seems that 3.15.707.3 were means for HTC Legend, meaning HTC without fail made a mistake again.
Update: screenshot
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Do you mean this update:
Update – HTC Legend Android 2.2 Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) update
You can now download the latest software update for new features and improved performance. It won’t delete any of your content and we’d recommend using a Wi-Fi connection as this is a large update. If not, standard data connection charges may apply. Any questions? Contact us via www.htc.com. After installing the update, you can confirm a successful update by confirming the Firmware version (From the Home Screen go to MENU> Settings> About Phone>Software number). The new Software number will be 3.15.405.3. Update Information: Android 2.2 and HTC Sense update Note: We still recommend you back up your all personal data first.
I saw the update today too. But I didn't install it. I'm rooted running a custom ROM.
But the update is way to small to be a completely new ROM. It's only twenty-something MBs. Definitely not the new Sense or Gingerbread. At the end of the update description, it mentions that it's an update to the Market app.
Yup its for legend, however when HTC upload it, they wrote its for desire... uploading the screenshot now.
Says HTC Legend on the UK site

I assume that the Legend HTC Sense update isnt to the new sense with htcsense.com abilities...?
would be interesting if it was though

People say it works, I, however had no luck. It kept on fecthing the bin to unlock (last step) for at least an hour when I eventually gave up and htcdev unlocked the bootloader in under 5 minutes.

May I know how you rooted your HTC One M7 on Sense 6.0? I heard that the Sense 6.0 update had some increased security such that no rooting software works? Haven't had much luck finding how to root it; would appreciate it if you could provide some links!
oops. please delete.

So I take it this will wipe phone or break apps the same as HTC dev unlock just for those that don't know? Is this just a handy tool for those not knowing how to use HTC dev unlock?

I used this app and it's very useful. It's making the same thing like HTC dev unlock, it wipes the phone but you don't have to do anything but press a button. Thanks for this very useful application.

Any trick to getting 20G update?

Hi folks,
Brand new D851 here! I want to get it fully updated to 20G before going ROM happy. I'm aware of the 20G flashable ZIP (here) but figured I'd just get it to download. The phone (new, from Amazon, unlocked) came with kitkat. I skipped the setup process and have no SIM in it; once I connected it to wireless it promptly downloaded and installed 20E. But there it sits. It doesn't seem to understand 20G should be waiting. Repeated checks for updates don't goose it along.
Is there some trick to this?
I will probably quickly exit stock, and then set up maybe Blisspop or something similar for 5.1.1, configuring for AT&T (I'm on ATT and bought the D851 due to unlocked bootloader).
I'm not shy flashing the zip I referenced above, just figured it might be better to update via the normal route if possible.
Thanks in advance!
LG Mobile Support Tool
Go here: http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000027-1412198655480-software-updates
Select the "Software Update LG Mobile" tab on the right.
Make sure you have the proper USB drivers installed.
The page states that the latest is 20E but I just flashed to do a trade-in and it was 20G.
Thanks. I will try it tonight.

Thanks again @mitbit2k3 . I went to the link you suggested and got the download tool; it updated my phone successfully after I installed the driver. There was a bit of foolishness about telling the device to do PC software but eventually got it connected. All is well. Upgrade only took ~10-15 minutes to download and install once started.

Just maintenance. Stagefright i think. It isn't clear that we will get a 5.1.1 release. May go straight to marshmallow. A shame because im not sure i want marshmallow.
