When you say latest version of Beanstalk do you mean the Lollipop build? If so that first boot can take up to 15-20 minutes. And after you flash a Lollipop build of any kind and try to flash to a Kitkat build, you have to make sure you wipe internal storage first otherwise it won't boot at all.

Yes, it was the newest lollipop build. How do I wipe the internal storage in clockworkmod? I factory reset the device and it still didn't work.

I haven't used clockwork mod in forever but i think it's under mounts and storage then format internal sd. Anytime you flash lollipop then go back to anything, whether it's another lollipop rom or a nandroid, you must wipe your internal sd also.

Another problem I ran into with the beanstalk rom lollipop build was the inability to connect to 4G LTE. Is there a way to fix this? I have attached the settings menu where I have selected the 4G option.

Help with Rebooting wiping storage

Hello everyone,
I would post this in the development thread but I can't since I am a ne user. Anyway..
I am currently on InFamous switching between the 2.4 TW version and the Google Edition v2.0.
My problem is every time I reboot my phone, it gets stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S4 boot image. Then when I go to recovery the Internal storage shows 0 MB available, and I can't fix permissions or wipe anything without having to format data first. The only way to boot my phone again, is to format data, wipe everything, and reinstall the ROM which is very annoying and time consuming.
PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks in advance

Have you tried this:
Before doing anything, be sure to back up the internal sdcard to a folder on your computer if you have anything you
want to save on the internal sdcard. Also be sure that the Google Edition zip file rom is on your "external" sdcard.
When the phone is flashed and ready to use go into settings>accounts tab>backup and reset>"Factory data reset".
Click on the factory data reset.
After doing that reboot into cwm or twrp which ever you are using and do a full wipe as you usually do but don't
forget to include "Factory reset".
Then flash the Google Edition rom as you normally have done and it should fix the problem you are having hopefully.
Good luck!

Have you tried holding the power button, home key and the volume up key all at the same time to boot in recovery? If not do a battery pull and do it when turning the phone back on

If you already tried to Odin flash the STOCK rom and formatted your internal sdcard and you still find "0 MB"
in your internal storage then it must be a hardware issue and if I were you I would return/exchange the phone.
Good luck!
It's not a hardware issue. It's a bug in twrp. Whenever you do "format data" it corrupts the data partition. Use PhilZ Touch recovery. His recovery includes the fix. Try it.

Thanks, I'll try that. How do I get rid of the bug after writing the new recovery? Format data?
Thanks!
Hello, any progress please? I have exactly the same issue.
I found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265588&page=23 this solution:
I wanted to clean my internal SD card before flashing Omega ROM, so I used Format Data option from Wipe section in TWRP.
After that I lost almost two days trying to fix my phone. Flashed stock ROM, TWRP and Omega ROM endless times without success after that.
My phone became randomly unbootable on reboot or power on! It was stuck on i9505 logo that is shown before boot animation forever. It was same for both stock and Omega ROM, with or without external micro SD.
After endless tries, I figured out that my phone works fine if I do factory reset and wipe from original recovery. Worked fine before and after flashing TWRP.
I tired to Format Data from TWRP again and my phone again was stuck on boot.
So I did everything once more. Flashed stock, did factory reset and wipe from original recovery and then installed TWRP and in the end I flashed Omega without wiping anything.
Everything works just fine now and I will not try to use Format data option from TWRP on this device in near time! Please fix this.
First I used TWRP 2.5.0.1 and then 2.5.0.2, but it is same in both of them.

It says so in the OP... going between TW and Google Edition 2.0.. Out of curiosity though, what difference would that make? I have flashed and have backups of two versions of TW and quite a few AOSP variants... I can move between them seamlessly and haven't encountered any such problems as the OP. I use TWRP as well.
It was TWRP problem. I have flashed the stock ROM with stock recovery. I have done full wipe and my phone works well again. This is bug in TWRP. Don't push "format data" button!

Try this.
Go to stock:
4.1.2 T989UVMC6 Stock Rom
Get out your SIM out and Micro SD Card.
Install TRWP:
openrecovery-twrp-2.6.1.0-hercules
Rm the preload partition, and format every other partition using the advanced option.
Install ROM without gapps, if everything work fine, format again with the gapps. If not, something is wrong with gapps or the .zip rom, remember to veryfied the md5 hashes.

CM11 installation problems

hi,everyone.
i've just tried to install cm11 in my galaxy nexus and it cannot boot on now
its installation is fail because status 7 in the cwm recovery
i still cant boot on my phone
can anyone help me
What version of CWM Recovery are you on? An update of the recovery to a newer build might help.
Break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat ROM!
What version of Android are you coming from? Anytime you are switching to a different ROM, especially from a JellyBean (4.3 or other) to a KitKat 4.4 ROM, you must do a clean wipe of your phone prior to installation. It sounds like you tried to do a dirty flash. Boot into recovery, and format data, cache, and dalvik cache, then try flashing the CM11 and Gapps.
If that doesn't work...try this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302599

i am coming from the stock android 4.3 rom. I've tried wipe the data, wipe cache and dalvik cache. However,it just keeps saying installation error in the cwm touch recovery because of the status 7.
That method doesnt work for me. i still even cannot boot on my phone.how can i send it in again
OK, first you need to manually boot into your recovery by holding the volume up and down buttons at the same time and then pressing the power button. You should get into your bootloader and then be able choose recovery. I assume you have a backup...so just flash back to your stock android 4.3. Then once you are able to get back into your phone see if you can update your cwm. If updating you cwm turns out not to be the issue then go watch a YouTube video on how to fix the status 7 error. It basically involves copying the zip file you are trying to flash over to your computer and editing one of the files. Goodluck...let me know if this works.

check your baseband..you should be in the latest radio..mine is XXLH1..other rom required latest baseband..
Pretty sure it sounds like he is on an outdated version of cwm, status 7 errors can be signs of old recovery version. Fastboot flash the latest cwm.

[SOLVED] Unable to install custom rom after modem upgrade

Hello,
I have a unique issue. I'm having a problem installing any custom rom on my t999 (tmobile). I have been using a custom rom for over a year. Always used TWRP. Started with Paranoid Android and for the last few months I've been using PAC-Man (nightly) roms. I was having gps lock issues, I decided to upgrade the modem to a leaked UVUEMJC, this fixed the gps lock issue. But after the reboot, I was stuck on bootloader screen. The only way I could get the rom to work was to backup the rom, flash the system and data, and after that, the rom would work until reboot. I did this a few times until it stopped working. My efs was corrupted, IMEI missing, To recover it, I went into download mode, and noticed in red Warranty bit =1. I used odin to flashed a rooted cf 4.3 samsung touchwiz rom (root66_TMO_T999UVUEMJC). All imei/efs issues were fixed. I decided to try installing a custom rom again, PAC-Man rom, it installed just fine, all EFS/IMEI info was intact, but at reboot, I got stuck on the CM bootlogo. This happens everytime. IF I recover a backup, it gets stuck on the boot logo. I'm using TWRP v2.6.3.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Thanks!
Install TWRP 2.6.3.1. Then take a Nandroid.
Next wipe /Data. Then flash your Custom Rom. Wipe Dalvik + Cache after the Flash. Reboot and report.

I tried flashing the Rom that doc fixed specifically for the T999LTE for the CM10.1.2 also with no avail.

unmounts of /system failed; no such volume
