I am facing the exact same problem. Were you able to resolve this issue?
Related
I just flashed paranoid android 5.0+ unofficial for the galaxy S2 T989,
and for some reason it flashed cyanogen recovery over my previous one which was clockworkmod.
I can't for some reason get out of recovery (ie. boot into system or boot into bootloader).
I already wiped data/factory reset and wiped cache (in cyanogen recovery) and I also tried flashing different roms and tried flashing clockworkmod again but I keep getting an error of:
Installed Failed
E: Cannot load volume/misc!
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E: Signature verification failed
Installation aborted
E: Cannot load volume/misc!
Cannot load volume/misc! - seems to be the first error message anytime I try to apply update from sdcard (ie. flash anything).
Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks in advance.
i have the same problem with you , can you get your phone into ODIN mode?
i have the same problem , and odin doesn't recognize my phone , I couldn't find any solution ..
Actually I ended up solving my problem, I just flashed the stock unrooted img in odin and now its back to normal. Just make sure you check re-partition in Odin cause my cache is messed up

So this came from Paranoid 5.0+
Since I cant plug in my phone (broken port)
Im not sure how to download a zip to help me re cover CWM
Welp
After completing installation of CM12 in my device, I found that there is no signal capturing by the device, but some times it does.
I doubt it is be the issue with baseband . So i had a try installing zip file containing modem.img according to the post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703161
But it is not installing
Showing an error in the screen like this
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification failed
I did this in the cyanogen recovery since after the cm12 installation I'm unable to get into cwm recovery.
Is there any probable way to fix this network issue?
thanks in advance

Reflash the twrp recovery it sometimes gives such issues
I recently wanted to root my phone which I ended up doing but then I wanted to try a custom rom. After doing an adb backup I deleted all the files I then pushed the twrp zip and installed it and rebooted back into recovery. I then pushed the bootable zips for roms such as Invictrix, Lineage, and Dirty Unicorns. Everytime I tried to install a rom I get an error that reads:
Error applying update: 51 (ErrorCode:: kPayloadTimestampError)
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file 'romfilename.zip'
Updating partition details.....done
Each rom zipfile i made sure was for Nash.

twrp is version 3.2.2.2
Well the one I wanted the most and first tried was Dirty Unicorns which was the official release of 12.4 but I also tried 12.3 and most recent weekly. All giving the same error.
Try using TWRP version 3.2.1-1

Flash the recent 07/27 weekly in 3.2.2. Ignore the error, go to reboot menu and swap slots then reboot and report back please.

Did what you said and I got an Error 1 when trying to install the zip and the other slot didnt have an os. so it went into a boot loop and when I installed it again back on slot a and just tried booting up that one it went into a boot loop aswell. Didn't even have the dirty unicorns logo when boot looping.

Hi, i tried to my update my RNP8 to MIUI by manual update (flash) using the recovery rom v11.0.1.0.PGGIDXM and the update fails. It's the usual error message 'cant verify update - other reason'.
Did anyone else try and faced the same?
i too got error 7 in TWRP.
removed compatibility.zip from package, still same error. (this worked always for my OP5).
