Hi guys, I paired my fire stick with a bluetooth mouse but it has a problem. every time I scroll around it lags. It's a brand new mouse with fresh battery. I tried walking close to the first stick and it's still the same. Got any idea on how to solve this problem ?
P.s. this is my second bluetooth mouse I tried.

Hi Everybody,
I upgraded my FireTV to the latest pre-rooted 51.1.5.0_515020820. Followed all the steps in FireTV News and used rbox's package.
The update was successful but right after update I begin to notice problems with my fire tv controller.
I takes too much time to start working, and for some reason, my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse are not working after the update. Some times the screen saver even kicks in before the remote starts to work.
Has anybody experiencing the same kind of problems?
I'm attaching a logcat from the boot until the remote starts working.
EDIT: Just realized I had enabled USB debugging. Disabling that made at least my keyboard work again, but the mouse is not functioning. Both are connected to the same Logithech unifying dongle and both do work on a computer.

Youre not the only one. I had something similar pointed out to me in another thread. Havent had time to test but logitech k400 mouse pad is having issues. Keyboard appears to work fine.
Any one else having these kinds of problems with the fire tv bluetooth control?
I also noticed that my remotes is disconnecting from FireTV randomly. Sometimes when I'm watching something, the remote does not respond. I have to wait from seconds to minutes until the remote starts to respond again.
I also have in the area my FireTv is several BLE beacons, I'm starting to think that they might have something to do with that problem.
Hi all,
I have had my Tab S Wifi T800 for a long time and have finally got around to wanting to use it more. I bought a bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth mouse (both Sandstrom, had good reviews) so I could be more productive on the tablet. Connected them both up yesterday and having a few problems. The keyboard can be a little bit laggy sometimes but its not bad at all, however the mouse is terrible. It skips around the screen extremely laggy. I have turned the pointer speed down in my settings but it still skips around now and again, makes it very frustrating to use.
I'm currently running IronRom 5.0.2 on my tablet.
Any help?
Does the mouse and keyboard work better when only the bluetooth is enable and wifi is disabled as they both use the same frequency 2.4ghz and can interfere with each other, dect cordless phones can use 2.4ghz as well.
If the wifi is interfering, yours or others around you, you can get apps so you can see unused frequency bands and set you router to that, but is there an app to show both wifi and bluetooth at the same time?
John.
Turned off wifi and uplugged stuff around me. Its a bit better but still laggy! Skips around a lot less.
I would have a look at wifi and bluetooth apps to locate any interference, try the blutooth apps below.

John.
So downloaded the bluetooth scanner but they cant find anything other than my keyboard and mouse, and it will only find my keyboard or mouse when they are both set to 'searching' for a bluetooth device themselves, so it wont find them if i have already paired them to my tablet, which i guess makes sense.
Having same issue on my Tab S and Note 4.
Have you found any solution yet?
I have just got a bluetooth mouse tecknet BM306 and it connects to my tablet OK, however the mouse pointer is jerky and jumpy, impossible to use. The buttons and the mouse wheel work fine.
I have tried the same mouse on my laptop and it works perfectly. It did install some drivers when it first connected. On the tablet however it does not install any drivers so am not sure if I would need some different/better bluetooth drivers for it.
Can anyone hep or shoudl I return it?
You cannot install drivers on an tablet, you are at the mercy of compatibility on Samsung`s wifi/bluetooth tranceiver does your mouse still jump around when the wifi is off, as wifi and bluetooth operate on the same frequency.
I have an Hama M2140 bluetooth mouse and it works great with my T800 with the wifi running at the same time and it is small an relatively cheap.
John.
Turning the wireless off had no effect.
I had another mouse (MEMTEQ) which worked OK until it died. This mouse is the replacement .
I will look to buy another mouse or maybe I can download a more recent bluetooth driver and install it? My tablet is rooted so I could do it if I had the necessary driver and instructions.
You cannot install a driver on an android tablet, you must be having some compatibility problem. Try another brand of mouse.
John
Yep I fully agree with Tinderbox its the mouse or the tablet one of them is not compatible
Thank you guys, I will buy (yet) another mouse. This will be number 3!
Logitech makes good gear.

Hi all, I frequently use my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, all worked well in anniversary update but I'm now in 150051 build slow ring and it happens that I need to reboot my phone to reconnect the mouse. Any solution? I ever read somebody also had such issue but I forget where that was cause I had no problem before.
Is this a bug or is there any way to fix it? thanks
I currently have an Amazon Fire TV Stick Gen 2.
I have two brand new Bluetooth Mice.
One is the Gearhead Bluetooth Optical - MBT9650 which works great on the Fire TV.
The other mouse the Bornd 170B, is having issues where the Cursor moves very slowly around the screen like the battery are almost dead.
I tested the Bornd on a PC and it works exactly as expected.
Being there currently is no root for the Stick 2, is there any known way to fix this? I don't see settings anywhere.
Just posting again to see if anybody possibly knows anythiing.
I just got a few more of these free as part of a shopping deal and I would like to really use them on my Fire TV Stick, but it's difficult to use with how slowly they cursor is moving.
