I noticed that ROMs on the developer's forum are labelled by their model (i.e. T210, T110).
So my question is, is it possible to use ROMs on different models?
Thank you.

Are GT-7105 rooting mechanisms ok for GT-7105T?
Hi guys,
I'd like to root my Telstra (TEL, Australia) GT-7105T but don't want to rush ahead as CF-Auto-Root devices don't list the 'T' suffix version. I imagine it would be fine - someone has already used it successfully - but I don't want to affect the function of the radios without realising it.
Any clues?

I rooted my N7105T with no problem and installed the Telstra rom from the N7105 section. Phone works great. No issues at all.
As subject, is there any prerooted ROMs available or being developed for those specific models?
I found the one for the i9195, but none for the rest of the models.
Don't want to start working on one while there is something available or being worked on (I have a i9192)
Thanks
I've been looking for one myself to no avail...can't find much resources for the I9192...
Hi and seriously why L models are weakly supported? beside the modem files isn't it the same hardware? if yes can I extract and flash my modem file to a ROM that is compatible with i9082? (my phone is rooted no other modification) if not what are these differences? and what can I and?or anyone else with "L" model do to help developers?

My guess is that they treat the different versions apart because the support itself is separated. The Latin support is worse than the support for other regions... so is better to have two different supports than harm the support that is not so bad...
That's my opinion... and I have a L variant to... pisses me off not to have the same upgrades...
I've searched and can't find a specific answer on compatibility on ROMs and the different carrier versions of the Fire Phone. It's late so maybe I just picked bad combos in my searches.
1. a. Will it brick an AT&T phone if you install the international ROM (or vice versa)?
b. If it doesn't brick is it effectively turn into an international variant (or vice versa)?
2. Are the CM11/SlimKat ROMs ok to install on any variant (AT&T and/or International)?
3. Are the CM11/SlimKat ROMs ok to install on any size variant (32GB or 64GB)?
I know some phones it's OK and some phones brick when you install other variant ROMs so I just want to confirm before I buy an AT&T version. I also know some ROM's have to re partition the device and I wouldn't want to lose 32GB. I apologize if these have been answered but I can't find them tonight.

I have the exact same question 1, I wouldn't call it "international", just unlocked version I guess
Bump, such easy question should be easy to answer and kind of important

1.a. No.
Source: I installed the UK, US AT&T and US GSM unlocked firmware on my device (T-Mobile netlocked, Germany).
Every Fire Phone works with all variants in general (there are ofc. different pre-installed TTS languages, WiFi channel support differs, etc.)
1.b. As Jose-MXL mentioned, unlocked (as in neutral) describes it a bit better.
The US ''GSM unlocked'' firmware has multi language support, just like the other versions, so you're not stuck with English language.
Again, some WiFi channels won't work, e.g. channel 13 in Germany, because it's based on US standards.
The fimware doesn't affect netlock, ofc. If your device was netlocked before, it will stay locked. If it was unlocked with a code before, it will stay unlocked.
2. Yes, as far as we know.
ggow only mentioned v. 4.6.1 because this was the (latest) tested version at the time. People reported successful installation on 4.6.1, 4.6.3 and 4.6.4 variants.
3. Yes.
Only the system partition is affected when installing SlimKat / CM11 (sorry, just describing it very briefly ^^).
As you know from stock Fire OS, the internal storage and media storage share the remaining storage space, so nothing will change on that partition.
Hello,
Just got a hold of a AT&T Note 5. From what I have read so far, I understand you cannot use a different firmware without bricking the phone. On my version, there is only a handful of languages available, which is very different from the regular Android versions I have encountered. Is there a firmware available for this particular model that have more languages?
Thanks.

I believe this is an internal debloating process decision since the AT&T phones was only made for use in the United States anyway. It seems as though you are out of luck, since rooting isn't an option, so you may have to buy another rootable Note5 (or phone)
