Play Store disguise request. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I have a galaxy s3 rooted with cm11 and cm cwm based recovery and I want to download magic 2014 directly from the play store yet I will not let me install it and I know it is compatible. Is there a way I can disguise my device from the play store as another so I can download it?

Change the build.prop. "d2spr" is the identifier for the S3 , there are three instances that you have to change. Change them all to "klte".

I have d2lte mine is a newer s3 and d2spr does not work. And all of the ones I changed did not allow me to download. Can you label the lines to see if I have changed all that are needed?

There are three. If you changed three then you changed them all. Go into Application Manager, then All, then Google Play Store, then wipe data and try downloading again.

by newer s3 do you mean the "T" model?

I mean LTE

I am just going to post my build.prop.

the D2LTE is literally all US s3's cause all of them have LTE and it was easier to develop for them as a unified branch as apposed to the D2SPR or D2BST/D2VMU, D2VZW the list goes on and what will work fro you phone is to see what Carrier you have ie Sprint/Boost or what ever it may be....but if only D2LTE works for your S3 then.....i have no idea but as ryan said change what's in your Build Prop

I have and it is refusing to work.

Did you reboot? Wipe Play Store data?

This is the reason I no longer develop for AOSP, the simplest stuff just doesn't work and other devs don't take the time to do bug fixes because they are doing multiple devices that they don't even have. Sorry for the rant.

It's alright

About Android Open Kang Project
Device: jflteatt (Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T)
WHAT THIS IS: A ROM(jfltetmo) directly from AOKP with no additions. Since Team Kang hasn't added the SGH-I337 (AT&T Galaxy S4) as a supported device there is no ROM for it. This ROM is unofficial which means I had to re-configure the build.prop, updater-script and Loki'd it for use on MDL- devices. If you use SafeStrap then this ROM will not work for you. YOU assume all liability. Now onto the goods
Make sure you're using the Latest CWM or TWRP & Backup
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Flash ROM
Flash GApps
1.4.2014 - Initial Conversion for jflteatt (3rd build from jfltetmo)
Latest Build: JAN. 4TH 2014 Nightly Build (~182MB | md5: c964c39fed29af3c0d8f9adb016c4096)
GApps: AOKP 4.4.x GApps (12.25.2013)
I will add nightlies to the list as long as the this device is unsupported, but I expect in due time Team Kang will add it.
Now time for Snow Shoveling!

Haven't had a chance to install yet but I'm sure it is great as always. Thank you
Definitely good IMO. Runs really smooth so far. Apns for Att are there for me. WiFi is working.... Solid build. Had to update superuser binary but I've had to do it with a few roms. Thanks for bringing to us. Can't wait for the features like center clock, animations etc. I'm using Xuimod and gravity box right now with no issues so far.
Sent from my At&t Galaxy S4
I couldnt get the navbar to work. The `settings` tab was emtpy. It still a work.in progress?
Thanks for the build, I.missed aokp
Running great for me so far. Good work.
The only major issue I'm having is not being able to activate the navigation bar. Other than that, everything seems to work fine.
For us Canadians to use this rom (Bell/Telus/Rogers - 1337m) is it as simple as flashing a compatible kernel after flashing the rom?
TIA!
FYI for those interested MHL does work on this rom.

[Mod]Full Screen Caller I.D

**Disclaimer - This is not my work. Just sharing it because I tested it on my T889 and it worked**
*USE AT YOUR OWN RISK**
-> You Can Find The Original Thread Here <-]
So I was just browsing through other Note 2 Forums and stumbled on this mod. I was bored so I figured.... ahh what the heck.
So I...
•Downloaded the zip (found in the linked OP)
•Created A Nandroid Backup (recommended but you can do as you wish)
•Flashed the zip via recovery (I'm using TWRP)
•Wiped Dalvik-Cache and Cache
•Reboot
Not sure if this was necessary but I did the following anyway...
•>Application Manager>com.sec.phone and cleared cache
•>Application Manager>Phone.apk and cleared cache
Used my daughters phone to test. Didn't work. I looked at the pic I had set for her. It was a crappy resolution.
So I picked one of the new pics I took of her. Boom! Full Screen Caller I.D
If it makes any difference I'm using 4.3 DN3 Rom (Ditto Note 3 Rom) from the ATT Roms Section.

Thanks I was tired of using a app for full screen. Question: you say you are running "Ditto Note 3 Rom for at&t. I am wondering did you lose any features with the rom since it was not designed to work with the t-mobile version?

The 4.3 TW ROM options are the only ROMs that support the gear devices. Jedi or Conch or maybe even manufan's new TW ROM may support it. YMMV.

A bit off-topic but with my recent struggles with trialing different PRLs, I decided to try a debloated TW ND8 ROM so I can use the dialer to change PRLs quicker, compared to CM where I have to wipe and reflash.
Is there a list of TW things that can be safely deleted using Titanium Backup to make it run nearly as slim as CM or SlimKat does?
I saw your sig and had to ask.

[DEV] CyanogenMod 13 port to SM-G920P

I have begun to work on setting up a device tree for the sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy s6
Many people probably have noticed that arter97, sktjdgns1189, tdcfpp, and RaymanFX , have been working on porting CyanogenMod to the Galaxy S6.
They have been working on the international flat variant. The source code has been released. I will try my best to port the ROM to our device variant and I will keep this thread updated as I go.
If you have any questions at all about CM on the S6, I will try to answer them or find an answer to them.
If anyone is interested in helping out with this please contact me on here or on hangouts my email is [email protected]
Im hoping to have a build completed and ready for testing soon.
I have created a GitHub repo for the SM-G920P https://github.com/SamsungGalaxyS6
Thanks, do note that touch didn't work when flashing original cm13 (device asserts removed from updater-script.

You were able to flash the international version and have it boot up when you removed the device asserts??
Can you let me no what else worked and what didn't work
Please only open threads when you have something to release for users to flash/test.
Placeholders are not a thing on XDA.
I have finished a build for the 920P but have not been able to test it yet because im stuck at work so im not going to post a link yet but if anyone would like to be the first to test this build please send me a message and i will send you the zip file. If not i will test when i get home
thanks

Hardware back did not work.
enbling navbar in build prop worked fine.
Camera not found.
No sim found
Wifi worked
Working:
Everything
Not working:
Camera (Front, Back)
Cellular
