I have a volume level glitch when playing soundcloud that every song 30-1min in the volume lowers to about half like a limiter or something, stock root.
Anyone know how to fix this?

So I bought the power amp music player back when I had gb and it worked perfectly. Ever since the ics update I get lag on the power amp music player which is really annoying. I've tried everything from reformatting my sd card to trying new roms to changing the governor settings. I'm starting to give up on the app since I can't really enjoy music through it.
It usually starts playing fine but then like 40 seconds into a song or whenever a song changes to the next I hear a lag. Like a skipping repeated lag for like 1-2 seconds. And it does it all the time. When I play music on the stock Samsung player it all sounds good with no lag or skips. I really like the power amp app so I'd like to be able to fix this. Anyone have any idea or has been experiencing this same lag with this app??
Right now I'm running dark side v7 rom.

I'm also using darkside v7. No lag issue with my Poweramp.

I don't mess with the governor and I actually have my phone underclocked to 1350 max.

Alrighty. Thanks for the reply. It could be my sd card just being corrupted

This is an issue with CM10 source but the latest nightlies seem to fix it some. It's still being worked on though.

I installed the newest PA and seems to have fixed the battery drain after that now my battery will last me about 9 hours compared to the 2 or 3 hours i would get before )

volume + if u want it loud that bad
I think the notifications sounds affect the volume of music or whatever is playing at the moment. I've noticed that I'll be playing music and I'll receive a text and my volume will go down and it won't go back up as loud....?

The same thing happens to me. Volume will not go back up automatically but if I hit the volume up or down it immediately goes back to where it was.
Is there a setting or something I'm missing?
I put my phone on vibrate but whenever I play a song (poweramp) it puts my phone on ring.
How can I stop it from changing it to ring everytime I change a song or turn on the music player?

Anyone?

It did that to me too. Honestly, I don't think there is a fix for it (I've tried. The ringer went off in class and I got my phone taken up). So just once you play music, see if it's on ringer or not.
Or try a simple reboot. After a few days, it stopped putting it in ringer for me.

I always do check but sometimes I forget and just like you one time it started ringing in class.
I'm not sure how a reboot will help but my phone goes off and on quite a lot cuz I switch batteries so I don't think its working for me.

That doesn't happen to me. But I do know that since CM7 there has been two separate volumes for headsets and the speaker.

Is anyone else hearing short scratch noises when listening to music on Google play Music? I don't know if it's my device or just a small bug in 10.2.

10.2 bug. Saw it mentioned somewhere...

I ran it for a while and never noticed it. That was with all the audio mod settings adjusted though so I'm not sure if that may be why I didn't notice it?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I noticed without changing anything. Not real noticeable but it's there
Sent using the craptastic new XDA app
I've noticed it only makes the noise of I'm doing something on my phone while listening to music. If it's just playing music and the screen is off its fine.

I can confirm the scratchy noise does arise after receiving a notification, specifically after a text message it persists until I change the track and then all is normal again. Does it still happen on the latest nightlies? I havent tested since being on 9/3

Static is still there on 9/4.Any idea whether this issue is on the CM developers' radar?
I did notice that if you turn off the equalizer and not use DSP at all it doesn't make the noise but of course the sound quality sucks.

This is very annoying. Anyone know how to disable the don't turn the volume up to loud notice.
