I was wondering. What is the highest frequency of Adreno 305 can achieve that will be normal. Cause Adreno 305 found in Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a clock speed of 500mhz, opengl 2.0 (4.2.2 jb os) while T2 Ultra has Adreno 305 @ 450Mhz, opengl 3.0 (4.4.3 kitkat os) can it match that same frequency with no problems and???

Hello,
Desire and Desire HD share the same arm CPU of 1Ghz, it is hard to get full board and chip-set specs of both.
My question is why there are lags when using a DHD ROM on the desire?
No, they have slightly different CPUs (chipsets).
Desire:
1 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon chipset,576 MB RAM

Desire HD:

The CPU listed it as the same, but it is a newer architecture + more RAM = more juice.
Also, I'm using InserCoin HD port, and have no lags with that one.
I tried Reflex sense for a while but went back to non HD auraxTsense
I had no lag on reflex though - it was very good
I'm using owhne v4.2.3 , and have no lags with that one.
Hi,
i was wondering since i'm more in the PC area and i know more about overclocking that it can be done not only to gain CPU OC we can get also GPU OC.
Is it possible to get the same thing with the Sony Play ? since it does have a GPU so, can't we overclock that as well ?
regards,
LaBBa.
+1 Sice the Sensation GPU can be overclocked this may be able....
The xperia play does not have a dedicated GPU. Adreno the GPU is built into the CPU chipset thus overclocking the CPU also overclocks the GPU.
We have the adreno 205 GPU, the sensation is using adreno 220.

I know but it is the same architecure, 220 is just one version newer.
Is it safe to overclock the processor and GPU a bit? Asking this since this tablet's processor is simply an underclocked Snapdragon 600.
(If I do, I'll be using ElementalX)
I don't think it makes that much sense. The s4 pro is already fast and does everything (and I mean everything) 600s and 800s can (obviously not considering chipset-specific tasks that our devices are not capable of in any case). I own a n4, same exact SoC and clock speed, and overclocking can be done up to 1.75 GHz. Even if I were to overclock I'd avoid the GPU. In any case follow the instructions provided by your kernel dev, he surely knows best
When you install ElementalX, the installer will guide you.
I'd recommmend you to overclock the cpu to 1.7 GHz and the gpu to 450 MHz. With everything else, just stick to the default.

I overclocked to 1.7 GHz and the GPU up to 491 MHz, but the performance improvement wasn't even notable and I got only 800 more points on AnTuTu and 3 or 4 more FPS on 3DMark
Is it possible to overclock Adreno 305 to 500 MHz or more than that? The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 of my cousin has it default at 500 MHz. She is not an overclock and it is at 500 MHz by defalut saw it on Antutu 5.4 and scores differ from our T2 Ultra on 3D and 2D part. Mostly games perform a little better on Mega 6.3 saw it on youtube smoother on 6.3. This is regarding the Adreno 305 GPU only not their different Processors nor RAM. That +50 MHz different is big for me it could increase gaming and scrolling performance. . Moto G has the same chipet as T2 Ultra but the GPU was able to overclock to at 550 MHz. See in this link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634745
@ 450 MHz T2 Ultra - 4000+ 3D Graphics.
@ 500 MHz Mega 6.3 - 5076 (I think) 3D Graphics.
THANK YOU PLEASE LOOK ONTO THIS.
The processor of moto z2 force is snapdragon 835. It has 8 cores kryo 280(modified cortex a73). So if cortex a73 allow cores be overclocked up to 2.8 ghz, can snapdragon be overclocked up to 2.8 ghz?

I started getting instability over 2.6 GHz steps on Gold cluster and Silver can be clocked up to at least 2.1 GHz. You start getting barely any returns compared to power consumption. After 2.5 GHz, the overclock Tachyon has for Gold, I didn't see much performance increase compared to the near triple power consumption.
In short. We can OC to 2.6 without issue but that step uses 3x more power than the jump from 2.4-2.5 for barely any gains. Silver cluster can get to 2.1GHz without issue and not much power increase.
