Just out of curiosity, I don't even know wtf the i9508 is, what kernel are you using and have you tried any trial and error like using a 4.4.4 ramdisk with the 5.0 zimage? Or a combination of 4.4.4 items such as init.rc or anything with the 5.0 zimage?

You said you have wifi fixed in the update? What was the problem?

A kernal will be provided into the next update however the current bug on the Kernal is a lot of random reboots. Its making the ROM unusable at the moment. Every app you open makes the phone reboot.
Thank you for confirming about the bluetooth. However I will keep it listed as a bug until more could confirm that this is working because for me its not.

Skyrocket 2.3.6 Gingerbread Build
Well well lookie what we have here. Thanks to mikeyinid and whoever else for getting the dump posted. I have completely hooked this **** up to work great on our phones. I haven't encountered any issues yet.
WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO WHITEHAWK?
- Completely deodexed and zipaligned
- Includes OUR stock kernel (same one in Juggernaut)
- Fixed Wifi
- Fixed GPS
- Rooted with busybox
- Somewhat debloated (This is what was removed)
- Replaced AT&T bootup with stock Samsung
- Added init.d scripts for zipalign and set permissions
- Added some misc. build.prop tweaks and edits
- Added latest Market
- Enabled free TMO music in market
While I realize no "stock roms" are to be posted in the dev section, this isn't 100% stock. Modifications had to be made for it to work properly with our phones. Just sayin'.
**** YOU NEED TO KNOW *YES THAT MEANS READ ALL OF THIS!*
1 - There is no setup wizard even on a clean install.
2 - You need to enable "wireless networks" in GPS Settings (GPS WORKS!)
3 - You might find random AT&T **** scattered about. If you do please let me know
4 - Your BASEBAND will still read UVKID. The baseband is the modem, NOT the rom...
Installation Instructions
Same as every other rom you've flashed... but if you insist...
1. Download zip and place on sdcard
2. Boot into recovery and choose to flash zip
OPTIONAL - for a clean install perform a factory reset
3. Reboot
4. Wait a minimum of 10 minutes
5. Reboot
6. Enjoy!

What's in 2.3.6
This build of CM9 will only keep up with what is actually merged into the code for CM9. Primarily this was made because of how infrequent the building goes with the official nightlies, but now i continue on regardless of anything...

as per usual:
Code:
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, for any bugs in the rom,
or if your cat decides to eat your phone because its now full of awesome.
This build is very much identical with the official build, u can switch from official and my build without any fear of having to wipe your phone.. the only difference is that i have the build script change the cyanogenmod version to more reflect like a nightly
I'll start build in the evenings, probably take a little bit depending on how much is new and the real wait is me actually uploading it.. (I have terrible upload speeds!)
Known Issues:
None
Instructions:
Download rom
Go to recovery
Wipe rom if coming from another rom, u dont have to wipe if ur coming from official nightly
Flash rom
Flash gapps, this u dont have to do every time just when u first come to the rom (the rom backs up gapps)
Boot into rom
???
Profit!
the torrent file only contains the rom, it uses a webseed, code.google.com. u can use this if u ever have to pause to download or such.. u dont have to seed, i dont mind.. but others might like u to
Current and older builds can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/team-keyblade/downloads/list
Latest GAPPS: http://goo-inside.me/gapps/latest/9
To all people saying thanks: Your welcome!! =^_^=

Just installed this ROM now.
Default language is Chinese, thus I had a hard time locating it, to change to English language.
Its a fast ROM indeed (expected from a ICS). Ill observe its battery performance and give feedback here..

How did you flash it? Using CWM? Had you wipe data, dalvik, and partition before flashing?
From what previous ROM you were?
Try re-downloading the zip file, maybe its corrupted.

I flashed it using CWM.
was on Software 163 ROM by chuyennho184
I wipped User Data, Cache, Dalvik, Battery Status
I flashed rom
flashed super su
flashed google aps pack
First time it stopped at startup wizard,
I re-flashed repeated the steps again
second time wizard did'nt come up but it stopped at home screen
I reflashed and did what needed to be done
third time it did'nt boot
Fourth time restored back to my old 143 rooted version
then flashed again
stuck on main menu
it happens when I touch the screen to click some button
This is happening to me on other CM9 roms i downloaded... I am just wondering maybe my flashing of cache and user data etc is not working properly ... there is some data left from previous roms? if yes how can I get rid of it? do I need to reflash the 142 Engineering rom using LG flash kit?
if someone can help me? :S

In short this is simply a early look as to what CM12 will have to offer. You will be experiencing lollipop the way Google and the Cyan team has set fit. Please keep in mind that these are still early development so there will be issues.
Small note of features up to latest build
· Quick Pull-down
· Brightness Control from Status bar
· Notification count
· Option to turn on Nav Bars (if you want the full Lollipop look)
· Ambient Display
· under the hood stuff
· Many more...(soon?)
!!! Flash on your own risk !!!
We can and will not take any responsibility for bricked devices or lost data. So please watch out!
Installation
- Make a (Nandroid) Backup of your current ROM
- Full WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + wipe dalvik cache)
- Select ROM from sdcard

- After flashing, reboot device (First reboot will take a while)
- Enjoy CM12 on your device!

Just wanted to chime in before anybody asks and say that this ROM seems to work fine with Boost and Virgin Mobile if you apply the universal APN fix. I wasn't able to test it extensively, however, as a snow bank ate my S3.
I can confirm working on virgin mobile.I had to use the r2 APN fix.I have been running this since yesterday. This ROM is very very smooth. Thanks for this.
I'd like to add I didn't try stock messages as I like and use textra.
@TJj33p3rz really? I couldn't get r2 APN to work for me

PA micro version? The most it really brings in is the Play store everything else has to installed from there but you'll have the aosp (5.0) keyboard to log in and everything .

oh do i have to let it "activate" to get signal?
My phone is galaxy s3 L710 on boost mobile running nd8 modem.i skiped the phone call activation and did not need the apn fix either. And also cm 12 does not support theme chooser yet.and there is no modifications for status bar.(clock postion, battery icon)..
Loving the build so far. Sound is actually louder sending to my car stereo via Bluetooth. Not getting the artist and song name on the display, but that's a minor quibble.
Otherwise runs great, just as fast as 4.4.

Clean Flashed ver. 1.0 with SuperSU 2.40 followed by a dalvik and cache wipe. Got impatient with the boot loops. Rebooted back to recovery and flashed SuperSU 2.42 beta followed by dalvik and cache wipe. Booted without any boot loops!

Its not your thread.
Hello,
just to say that many of us don´t report the bugs on TAB because I believe that most use Tapatalk to xdaforum, and Tapatalk there aren´t that TABS, such as on a PC browser.
Sorry my English!
If you are trying to root and get stuck in bootloops, here is the reason why:

Is this ROM pre-rooted?
No. It isn't yet because there is no sufficient root for Android 5.0+ on this device. Chainfire is working on a root. Once he releases it I will pre-root the ROM.
Can I root the ROM myself?
Sure, be my guest. But note I recommend SuperSU v2.40, v2.41, or v2.42. Just flash it in recovery. Note that your device is likely to boot-loop after flashing.

True..the app. doesn't have the tabs required..but..if one REALLY wants to help, then that one would find a computer, somewhere and report..but also..not everyone needs to report, repetitiveness isn't always the answer..seems as thow the Dev. would announce, if more input is needed..otherwise, trust the thread..and what it has to say..and try to avoid flooding the thread.!

Where is our thread man?
1068/69 is always late.
That's because he doesn't own a xt1068.
