Just wanted to chime in before anybody asks and say that this ROM seems to work fine with Boost and Virgin Mobile if you apply the universal APN fix. I wasn't able to test it extensively, however, as a snow bank ate my S3.
I can confirm working on virgin mobile.I had to use the r2 APN fix.I have been running this since yesterday. This ROM is very very smooth. Thanks for this.
I'd like to add I didn't try stock messages as I like and use textra.
@TJj33p3rz really? I couldn't get r2 APN to work for me

PA micro version? The most it really brings in is the Play store everything else has to installed from there but you'll have the aosp (5.0) keyboard to log in and everything .

oh do i have to let it "activate" to get signal?
My phone is galaxy s3 L710 on boost mobile running nd8 modem.i skiped the phone call activation and did not need the apn fix either. And also cm 12 does not support theme chooser yet.and there is no modifications for status bar.(clock postion, battery icon)..
Loving the build so far. Sound is actually louder sending to my car stereo via Bluetooth. Not getting the artist and song name on the display, but that's a minor quibble.
Otherwise runs great, just as fast as 4.4.

READ THIS POST, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT
Qoute from the creator of AOKPA "When I first got my Galaxy S III this is what I dreamed of eventually running on my phone — A ROM that has all the capabilities of ParanoidAndroid, all the features of AOKP, and one that utilizes CyanogenMod as a solid base. ParanoidKANGdroid is based off CyanogenMod source code with all the features from ParanoidAndroid and AOKP merged into the frameworks and settings. I really hope you all have a good experience with this ROM. I made my own kernel for ParanoidKANGdroid that has overclocking, undervolting, and quite a few performance tweaks. Also, under settings you will see a tab for "Update Center" which will launch goo manager which is where you can receive OTA updates for this ROM. Before I conclude I would like to thank everyone that helped make this ROM possible."

2. Reboot to recovery
3. Wipe cache, dalvik cache, data factory reset
4. Install Rom
5. Reboot and enjoy
If you have an issue and you want to call my attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your working Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread, Cyanogenmod's, ParanoidAndroid's, and AOKP's as well for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence.

Nice rom but the only thing keeping me from keeping this ROM for long is the fact that I can't seem to get it out of 320 DPI every different app I check from the market seems to think its in 240 and refuses to revert it back and also checking paranoid settings and changing it manually I can't for anything to fix it for me

OpenPDroid is a set of modifications to the Android framework and libraries which allows fine-tuning of the data which applications are able to retrieve about your device, your account, your messages, and more. Specifically, it is a Privacy service provider. In short by installing a mod in recovery that modifies a few key files from my ROM you can then install a program from Playstore called PDroid Manager that will allow what information any application can access. GPS, Phone Number, pretty much anything.
Install Instructions for OpenPDroid
*Download the install (update) file to your internal storage
*Reboot and goto recovery
*Install JellyBeer-v4.32-07072013-134012-hikari-openpdroid-20130707-update
*Go to Playstore and download PDroid Manager to access security settings.
Install file here
Uninstall file here
Pdroid Manager from here to control the per app options.

Of Course you can all T999 roms work with T999L al though u may not get higher LTE speeds tho.
Edit: - Does this have theme support by any chance?

Guys please not a lot of cm12 is actually d2lte but due to issues with specific hardware / software they don't define it as so
Well Done! Nice to have lollipop on a device...
@Nexus11 - Suggestion. Put an [ALPHA] tag at the title. People will start to bang your door asking for X and Y feature and ask for ETAs and such, not realizing this is still an alpha (infant) project which might have instability and broken stuff.

Make sure to have your model's latest bootloader and modem installed. If you already have both, then it may be the ROM itself. Please remember this is an alpha project and it may not become a daily driver (i.e. stable) for some time.
Can I flash this over the att build alpha (wiping cache and dalvik) or do I need to factory reset and wipe everything? I have the t999.

I clean flashed this on t-999 and after booting no signal and unknown imei
Restored back to back up of other cm12 rom
I'm having the same problem as ^. I couldn't get my SIM Card to activate.. I tried to flash twice, with custom kernel and with the stock kernel. Nothing works.. I don't have a T-Mobile SIM Card, so maybe that's the reason? I have Spot Mobile.
Yes, I do have the latest Modem and those goodies.
If anybody knows a solution, please reply to me I need help. Thanks

If you do dirty flashing on an alpha (infant, unstable) build...you may have more issues down the line.

How long have you been waiting? The first boot takes at least 10 min the longest. Remember there is no more dalvik or whatever its called.

Yes that was one of the major bugs listed. Please read the OP before reporting bugs. Will have a fix hopefully soon. Just testing out Kernels to see what best works for the device.

Just out of curiosity, I don't even know wtf the i9508 is, what kernel are you using and have you tried any trial and error like using a 4.4.4 ramdisk with the 5.0 zimage? Or a combination of 4.4.4 items such as init.rc or anything with the 5.0 zimage?

A kernal will be provided into the next update however the current bug on the Kernal is a lot of random reboots. Its making the ROM unusable at the moment. Every app you open makes the phone reboot.
Thank you for confirming about the bluetooth. However I will keep it listed as a bug until more could confirm that this is working because for me its not.
